L.A. Is a great place to visit. I love the vibrancy and diversity of its neighborhoods. When I need to be close to downtown, this is my place of choice. It's easy o get to anywhere downtown from the Omni. At the same time, it is a peaceful retreat from the bustle and hurry. The outdoor terrace with heated pool are perfect for unwinding. The very best thing, however, is it's staff! First, Margarita the miracle worker at the front desk. No matter what questions I had, she found answers. She was always courteous and professional. Props to the maintenance staff, too. We had a small issue in our room. They responded within minutes and got it fixed. Definitely recommend for your next visit.
We were looking for a centrally located DTLA hotel and were impressed with what we read about the Omni Los Angeles. From the valet arrival and front desk welcome (Chris is the man!) to our beautiful corner room on the 17th floor (thank you Susan G. for the delicious welcome gift), the Omni proved to be the perfect choice! The staff is very accommodating and the twice daily housekeeping was some of the best I've seen. The hotel is located in the center of everything...We were able to walk to all the shops, restaurants and museums...And Disney Hall is a block away! If you are looking for a hotel in DTLA...The Omni Los Angeles should be at the top of your list!
Excellent food and drinks at Noe. Rebecca was the most gracious server! We enjoyed a great evening. Outside fireside tables were lovely. Location was walking distance to theaters. Rooms at the hotel were elegantly appointed.
Other reviews about weed smell, great location, super comfortable bed, location on hilltop where you are sheltered from homeless, and very friendly staff are all on point. You can’t fault hotel for rude patrons who smoke. I didn’t complain much about it since we were there only for one night to attend Dodgers game. The on-site restaurant closed at 11 but the staff made exception to put our order in since we were taking it to go. The restaurant staff was really busting their hump to accommodate guests. That night I saw on news nobody wants to go back to work in CA because some service workers prefer to remain on unemployment. The staff here put in 110% but really need more help since travel demand is back, and people are going to this property for its history of solid reviews. I would return here without hesitation. …
The smell is overpowering. The great location doesn’t make up for the smell. Really great location and nice rooms. Helpful staff. However, bathrooms and elevators require using your room key, but they barely work, and the elevators often take you to the wrong floor. Frustrating.
