The experience was horrible overall. I called ahead to notify the hotel that I would have a late check in, I was assured that they would hold my room with two beds for 4 people. When I arrived, I guess they either didn’t care or straight up lied as my room was taken and only offered a room with one bed for 4 people. I was then told all the fees would be waived for having to deal with this issue, which they lied about. Ended up paying hundreds of dollars in “fees”, that gave no benefits as far as I was made aware. That just covers the experience, the rooms were also a negative experience here, in one word they were gross

It’s an okay hotel. I don’t object to its pricing, if I did I would know that upfront and made that decision prior to reservations. The people are nice, kinda okay, nothing special, useful. The hotel is in a nice location blocks away from The Board, MOCA, Disney Center, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, etc. But the food services are average so we eat out. It’s also a funny thing that to use the TV for, say, Netflix, Prime Video or whatever streaming service you have to go through so many hoops it’s ridiculous. We travel all over … you know, the world and no where is it more difficult to sign in to your stupid Netflix, et.al accounts than at the Omni, LA. I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. Just saying.

Stayed for one night ahead of a flight out of LA. I’d say hotel us more used to business folk than families. We checked in early, complimentary water and brownies were nice. Used Angels flight to go to central market to eat (get 10% off from hotel). Used bar early evening (IPA really good). There was a complimentary car for short journeys but not free when tried to access for dinner. Pool ok for lengths - in shade when we accessed. Room quiet and comfortable. Not enough towels for us, shower a little weak, and toiletries difficult to get out of in shower. Was an expensive stay for one night. Not sure quite lived up to cost.

Stayed at the Omni for a recent business trip. The hotel has great location, walking distance to a bunch of LA sites. The bell service staff is very pleasant, professional and provide quick service. However, the hotel’s decor and rooms are outdated and a bit run down. I was given a room with a Murphy bed and not alerted or given an option. I only realized this after I was unpacked and didn’t want to repack. Other colleagues mentioned they were at least alerted to the “Murphy” bed situation which they quickly turned down as it’s like sleeping on a pull out. The shower flow was very weak. I checked in with other colleagues and their rooms were not ready at 3 pm. The front desk told them not worry that they would get a phone call when rooms were ready. Several hours later they were still waiting to get into their rooms. I had to keep their luggage in my room since they had no place to go. If given a choice, I will not stay here again and I will not recommend it to anyone else.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for taking the time to make us aware of your concerns. We sincerely apologize for any frustrations experienced with the condition of your guestroom as well as the check-in process. Our occupancy was high and we had to do a quick turnaround on the rooms. This is not an excuse but we wanted to provide an explanation. This is still not acceptable, and our management team will use this opportunity to continually train our staff on the service they provide. Please know that we are committed to exceeding the expectations of our guests, and we hope for the opportunity to show you the service we are typically known for.

The Omni does it right. From the check-in experience to the comfort of the rooms, this hotel has everything I need (great bed, super towels and a robe!) I do not usually visit downtown LA, but if I am back, I will select the Omni. They also had a large, complimentary shuttle that goes in a 3 mile radius of the hotel. Because of that it was a breeze to get my group of 6 to/from our restaurant for dinner.

My compliments to Caterina at the front desk. She was able to check me in early when I had some work to do, did it willingly with a smile on her face, made sure I had a nice room, and wished me a good stay. We also chatted about her background, which intersected with mine. Great employee.

Charles at the valet made me feel like an a-lister during my 3 night stay downtown. Front desk staff were professional, prompt and informative. No notes! Wish I could’ve taken more advantage of the heated pool…even on a relatively chill May nights it was relaxing to get a couple laps in after a long day walking around Huntington Library (not close but definitely worth the trip out to Pasadena). What is close and might be a hidden gem though? The Last Bookstore. Maybe the best used book emporium I’ve been to…I also recommend the Golden Gopher down the street for their Happy Hour.

We booked this hotel because I was doing the LA marathon and the Omni was a partner hotel. Ideal base for exploring downtown Los Angeles and also very close to the metro station we used to go to universal studios. The rooms were very spacious and clean. We only ate breakfast in the hotel one day but would recommend it. Very nice and reasonably priced. All the staff we might were helpful and polite and we would definitely recommend the hotel and would stop here if we returned to LA in the future.
