Great service when we arrived. Bags were taken care of, valet was great. The hotel is beautiful, clean and modern and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our bags were brought up to our room on the 16th floor immediately. Beautiful rooms! We noticed that the room was extremely warm and that the air was turned down to 64 deg. Moderately cold air was coming from the vent. We decided to give it some time to cool off. After a couple hours we were just hot and muggy. We had to leave for an event so we decided to stop at the front desk to let them know about the A/C. We were told that engineering was aware and were working to get cold air to the rooms. Unfortunately when we returned later that night, 11:00 ish, our room was still hot. Immediately called the front desk and was told that the heat wave was the reason for the hot room but they would contact engineering and have them come up and check it out. Got a call back a couple minutes later and were told that was normal because of the heat wave. Nothing they could do. Slept in the heat that night and went to leave in the morning. Called the bell desk for help with our bags, no answer. Call the front desk, they connected me back with the bell desk. No answer. Had to make 2 trips to the lobby (not another guest or employee in sight) to get our bags down. Not to fun. My wife talked to the front desk and was told we would get $50 off our bill for our inconvenience. That doesn't even pay for parking. Definitely not what we expected from the Omni.

We are truly sorry to hear about your experience. Due to the current record breaking heatwave, our A/C chillers are overloaded. We have been working diligently to help minimize the impact to our guests, and want to extend our sincerest apologies for not being able to exceed your expectations. We appreciate your understanding, and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with the service we are typically known for.

Hotel's Favorite
It’s an okay hotel. I don’t object to its pricing, if I did I would know that upfront and made that decision prior to reservations. The people are nice, kinda okay, nothing special, useful. The hotel is in a nice location blocks away from The Board, MOCA, Disney Center, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, etc. But the food services are average so we eat out. It’s also a funny thing that to use the TV for, say, Netflix, Prime Video or whatever streaming service you have to go through so many hoops it’s ridiculous. We travel all over … you know, the world and no where is it more difficult to sign in to your stupid Netflix, et.al accounts than at the Omni, LA. I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. Just saying.

The hotel was way overpriced. On the first day, I was told that parking was $60 a day and near by lots didn't akkiw in and out services for parking. Second day, I asked if the lobby had a microwave as there was not one in the room. I was told by the rude front desk clerk that Omni isn't a "resort hotel" and that I would have to pay 40.00 for a microwave. I was upset and wasnt going to pay for a microwave. The outside pool is only 3 ft. My stay was for five days and I would never stay there again or recommend anyone to stay there. The money they charge I expected way more. I will say the valet parking service was excellent. The location is good for DTLA. You will see first hand LA homeless epidemic.

Beds - comfortable, bath - clean but dark and no exhaust fan, room seating- one chair not comfortable, cleanliness- you have to ask for the room to be made up daily which was not shared at checkin. Outside- homeless everywhere. Restaurants- very pricey and food was barely average.

We appreciate you taking the time to share about your stay with us. In our efforts to be green, we do offer an opt out option on housekeeping service to our guests with an extended stay. In addition, for every day a guest chooses the opt out option, we donate to Feeding America. We truly apologize if this was not clearly explained to you, or if you had not chosen this option. Our Housekeeping team has been informed so they can investigate where the breakdown occurred. We value your patronage, and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to show you the service we are known for.

We stayed at the Omni during our last visit to LA and it was between this hotel and the Westin Bonaventure. I've stayed at the Westin before so we tried the Omni. I have to say I much prefer the Westin Bonaventure. We stayed for 3 nights but were out of the hotel quite a bit so it was a real inconvenience with valet parking and the hotel seems to close everything quite early. the only thing thats open later is the subway across the street. The rooms were clean but small and seemed dated as compared to other hotels we stayed in LA. Service was good but again we didnt get to use the facilities as everything was closed every time we came back.

The hotel is solid in a good location, no specific complaints, just feels like it is aging. Carpets in rooms, small musty smell (in one it was large but they accommodated a move), gym a bit tight with more than a few people but serviceable. Shower water pressure modest at best

DON'T STAY HERE. They will soak you for a room that's no better than countless other rooms for less money in LA. I've stayed at numerous hotels in the City, this one doesn't offer anything special, but plan on the "destination fee" which will add considerably to your bill, another $45 or 50 per person for a decent breakfast, $55 per night for valet and the same if you happen to have a visitor that needs to park, etc. etc. For what they charge, you think they could put better mattresses, something besides the oversized polyester pillows, and bad coffee in the room, but no. Room service, while offered, comes in disposable containers.

We are truly sorry to hear you feel that way. All our prices are competitive with other downtown hotels, and are provided on our website. In general, we always had good experience with Omni hotels, therefore we chose Omni Los Angeles for our last visit. What we liked the most is customer service and supportiveness of the team, very friendly team. This alone is enough to decide in favor of this hotel. However, there are areas for improvement. First, beds are really uncomfortable and old. Every single night I woke up multiple times because of very uncomfortable mattresses. For my next visit I may think twice before deciding in favor of this hotel. One more thing - noice isolation is almost inexistent, you hear everything going on next door and in the corridor. For me the biggest problem was very uncomfortable beds, after all quality of sleep is critical to have a good start of the day.

Great experience. Everything was open and big from the entrance to size of the room to dining area to the pool to the parking etc. Staff are friendly; short drive to local beach and local eateries. Will try again if we have the opportunity again
