We stayed in Omni Los Angeles only one night for an event within the hotel. It is in a convenient location for some attractions such as The Broad, MCA, Walt Disney Concert Hall and Grand Central Market. Front desk was helpful and friendly. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and sleep quality was good. Lighting needs some improvements, at least in the bathroom. The gift & snack package they give for children is really nice; especially their partnership with Feeding America and making it happen through children's art. Also the free crib they gave for our toddler was way better in compare to other hotels in south California. The worst part of this hotel is parking as the other guests noted, it is expensive and the only option is valet parking.

It’s an okay hotel. I don’t object to its pricing, if I did I would know that upfront and made that decision prior to reservations. The people are nice, kinda okay, nothing special, useful. The hotel is in a nice location blocks away from The Board, MOCA, Disney Center, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, etc. But the food services are average so we eat out. It’s also a funny thing that to use the TV for, say, Netflix, Prime Video or whatever streaming service you have to go through so many hoops it’s ridiculous. We travel all over … you know, the world and no where is it more difficult to sign in to your stupid Netflix, et.al accounts than at the Omni, LA. I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. Just saying.

This hotel was amazing. The customer service was unbelievable. Any accommodations far as extra toothbrushes to even bringing me a microwave to heat my left overs in. Also I love the unlimited complimentary water bottles. The restaurant and bar had amazing food and drinks. There was nothing more I could have asked out of a hotel. Definitely will be back to visit.

Excellent stay. We spent 3 nights in a premier view two-queen room. Highly attentive staff throughout hotel, including restaurant staff. Always inquiring about quality of our stay, asking how they could make it even better. View from our room lovely - high floor that overlooked plaza. Lovely city views. Good sized room with comfortable beds with high thread count pressed ultra white sheets. Excellent housekeeping staff (rare these days). Doormen rush to offer assistance. Service is pre-pandemic quality. Location was excellent - adjacent to LACMA museum, around corner from Disney Concert Hall. For those of you who are not familiar with downtown LA there are some sketchy areas - The Omni is in a lovely and safe location. Only issue - some of the furniture in room was just beginning to show *slight* age, as was bathroom. In 5 years or so, may be time for bedroom updates. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great location and a pretty nice hotel but there were a few cons: When we arrived I asked the valet if he could not park the car as we just planned to check in, change and leave. He said no problem as long as it was 20 minutes. I said it might be more like 30 - he said that would be ok still. We hustled and we’re back in about 20 - car was already parked and we had to wait for them to bring it back. I presume because I didn’t tip him (planned to when we got back). More of an annoyance for me… Other things… we could hear our neighboring rooms entire conversation in the morning and it didn’t sound like they were speaking very loudly. Unless I missed it or don’t know California law, there were $100 in fees we weren’t aware of at the end of the stay. With the valet, which we knew about so that’s ok, that was about $215 we paid on top of the initial charge.

I’ve stayed at this hotel, dozens, and dozens of times, they are consistent, clean, friendly, and definitely of service. I ran into a last minute board meeting that I had to put together with 30 minutes notice, on a very busy heavily booked weekend, Mark, who is in charge of banquet sales was kind enough to give me a room that was just broken down and needed the next day for an hour at no charge, his generosity is, what would consistently bring me back. Rooms are comfortable, the restaurant is above average, right in the heart of downtown LA

I stayed at the Omni hotel this past holiday weekend for an overnight staycation. Not knowing downtown Los Angeles very well, I wanted a hotel that offered some conveniences near some sites. Omni was a perfect location. They have a bridge that leads to the street level for the BROAD and MOCA museums, and easy access to the Grand Market. I called the hotel prior to booking and spoke to Guest Service Agent, Prime. He provided a wealth of information about the hotel and surrounding area, the most important being, “book club level. It’s the best and will save you money,” which I did. The hotel only has valet parking, which was fine with me. On the day of arrival, the valet, Ramon helped me with my bags making me feel welcome right away. As he led me to the front desk, he let me know that Omni offers a courtesy town car that will take me anywhere downtown that I need to go and pick me up to bring me back to the hotel. That is the convenience I was looking for. As soon as I entered the hotel an aroma of freshness was in the air. It was a lovely, light fragrance that immediately put me in a good mood. At the front desk, Prime was there to greet me, who explained that the Club level had a lounge that offered free food and drinks until 9P. Breakfast in the morning as well. He also mentioned they had a restaurant on site, a pool and fitness center. Upon entering the room, I immediately checked out the bathroom. It was very clean, stocked well with toiletries, towels and a blow dryer. The room decor was current but not overly done. There were multiple outlets and USB ports near each bed. It had a small refrigerator and you could request a microwave from housekeeping. There were a couple of bottles of water there for me. I had a nice view of the city, museums and Disney Hall. I had asked for a couple more bottles of water. Brandy from housekeeping was there within 5-7 mins, friendly and professional, and she was sure to ask if I needed anything else. I later realized I forgot my toothpaste, went down to the front desk to see if they had a courtesy packet. As I approached, a gentleman that hadn’t helped me previously, called me by my proper name, and asked if he could help me with something. I instantly felt like a celebrity. When I asked for the toothpaste, he offered a toothbrush as well which I thanked him for but declined. Instead of going out for dinner, I went to the Club Lounge where they had a great spread of fresh cut up veggies, fruit, cheese, crackers and hummus. There were little triangular meat pockets that were served with a sweet and sour sauce. They also had lamb chops, rice, and steamed cauliflower. Dessert was coconut macaroons, and a variety of tea cakes. As for beverages, water, coffee, tea, soda, juice, beer, wine, and a bar cart where you could make your own mixed drinks. I ate and drank my money’s worth for sure, taking my time while I watched a movie. The lounge attendant made you feel at home and kept the food coming. I had a good nights rest. The beds were comfortable with plenty of fluffy pillows. I got up a little late for breakfast. By the time I got to the Club Lounge, it was closing in 15 mins. There was no more bread for toast. So I went to the 3rd floor where they have the restaurant that serves a buffet breakfast on Sundays with traditional breakfast but also crab, shrimp and other over the top deliciousness. But I just needed toast for my avocado toast. The restaurant was happy to provide it to me since the Lounge ran out. Checkout was super simple. The front desk called for my car from valet so when I got outside, I waited no more than a few minutes for my car. Yes, the room was a little bit pricey. But it’s worth it to know that I’m staying in a clean, well maintained hotel, where the staff will provide outstanding service, that offers many conveniences, along with special little perks like brownies at check-in, a fruit bowl with apples, extra waters, and who knows what else I missed. More importantly, I’m worth it! Why not treat myself to an above average staycation! I’ll definitely be back and treat my mom to a staycation at the Omni.

The $40 a day ‘resort fee’ on top of the room cost is ridiculous and had I known I would’ve booked elsewhere. I’m not interested in museums, I’m fructose intolerant so couldn’t eat any of the snacks or use the voucher for grand central market. $40 plus tax a day is a lot of money for a couple bottles of water. When I questioned it I was told it’s compulsory.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We understand the disappointment at having to pay a Destination Charge. With this charge, it allows us to offer our guests to enjoy many services and amenities without having to incur miscellaneous charges. It includes morning coffee and fresh apples in the lobby, afternoon sweet treats at the Front Desk, complimentary town car service, tickets to Broad and MOCA Museums, 10% off card to Grand Central Market, bottled water, WiFi, digital Wall Street Journal and all domestic and local calls. We believe that our prices are in-line with the hotels in the Downtown area that are at the same caliber of service as we are at.

The experience was horrible overall. I called ahead to notify the hotel that I would have a late check in, I was assured that they would hold my room with two beds for 4 people. When I arrived, I guess they either didn’t care or straight up lied as my room was taken and only offered a room with one bed for 4 people. I was then told all the fees would be waived for having to deal with this issue, which they lied about. Ended up paying hundreds of dollars in “fees”, that gave no benefits as far as I was made aware. That just covers the experience, the rooms were also a negative experience here, in one word they were gross
