The hotel experience was good. Rooms were comfortable and location was perfect in downtown. Parking was a hassle and very expensive. Currently most services are limited due to the pandemic, but overall we had a nice stay.

Unbelievably horrible customer service. I am a titanium lifetime elite member and arrived at the property to only find out that I’ve been downgraded from an upgraded room/ suite to a regular room. Then the supervisor Yuri proceeded to tell me that there are no upgrades available when the website clearly shows availability. SHOCKING in the middle of COVID and being a lifetime member. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! I will NOT be returning! They clearly don’t value my business.

Stayed here from Aug 18-20 As soon as I walked in the hotel, I was greeted by an impressive lobby. Check-in was quick and the associate was friendly. Got up to the 19th floor and as soon as I stepped out of the elevator, my senses captured the nasty smell of marijuana. Disgusting!!! Although the room was very inviting, the inexcusable odor of marijuana in the hallway was not what I expected from a "grand" hotel. Each time I walked that hallway, I felt like throwing up. I know that the hotel knows about this smell because there was one time that housekeeping staff seemed to have sprayed something to hide the odor, but was unsuccessful. It still smelled. And it was very strong. Thank you though for such a restful ambiance in the room but that marijuana odor surely dampened my stay.

Hotels exterior and lobby were phenomenal and definitely worthy of the name Grand. Front desk associates were great across the board, but a special shoutout to Renee who helped us seamlessly and perfectly. The pool, gym, lounge, and breakfast being closed were disappointing but understandable due to COVID. Rooms themselves were quite nice however I think housekeeping could use some improvement. The windowsill was littered with dead small bugs which was really off-putting and there was a hair that definitely did not belong to us on the bed linens when we arrived. A hair was also found on the toilet seat once it was lifted. Also on the second night, a requested extra pillow never ended up being delivered to us. The parking situation is a big strange since you have to park across the street but the main problem we had occur was that after 10PM you had to call an after hours number to gain access into the garage to drop off your car, however no one ever answered the phone for the 15 minutes we tried calling. Thankfully someone ended up leaving the garage which caused the door to open but that was quite frustrating, they may need to relook into that contract they have with the parking facility.

Good covid control of entry and check in. The card key offers security as it is needed to access everything including the elevators. The hotel is attached to a Macys and The Bloc shopping area. Room was clean and bed comfy. On 12th floor no street noise so that's s plus considering it's downtown. Parking is exorbitant at 54 bucks a day. The attendant advised there is parking in the Macys lot for 44 bucks. Hmmnn...for 10 bucks difference, I chose the hotel parking. Once I figured where everything was, the walk from the Macy's lot wasn't much further at all. Next time. 😂
