This was a very convenient walk to where I was showing at the LA Art Show. Every member of their staff was a great experience. Good people, good amenities, and great service. I could not be any happier.

Excelent room, staff and right in the heart of LA Live
My wheelchair accessible room was clean, comfortable and well laid out. Plush bathrobes and towels. Well placed grab bars for the bath tub (I requested a tub rather than a roll-in shower) and the bed was the correct height for transferring from my 19" high wheelchair. Front desk staff is friendly and attentive. Hotel is right across the street from the center of LA Live. I booked online got a very good rate, however the quality of the hotel was just as good as a more expensive major chain hotel across the street. I did not have a car, thus didn't have to pay the nightly parking fee which is $50 a night. I don't know the going rate in the area but I suspect it is in the ball park. The elevator requires a room key to get to your desired floor--something I appreciate for added safety and to discourage possible late night inebriated revelers.
Thank you for staying with us at E-Central DTLA! We loved reading your 5-star review and hope you come and stay with us again in the future!

    Great Location, heart of DTLA
This is my second time staying at the Luxe. Located in the heart of DTLA across from LA Live, Staples Center, and the Los Angeles Convention Center, you can't beat the location. It was about a 10 minute Uber ride to any of the hot spots in DTLA. The rooms are larger than most that I've stayed in Downtown, with updated bathrooms and a well stocked minibar. They have a bar/restaurant located on the second floor with the lobby located on the ground floor. They staff was very pleasant and accommodating during our stay. We arrived early so the front desk held our bags until we returned later after exploring the city. They have a great happy hour menu and the cocktails were delicious. Personally I had the rose, but my girlfriend tried a few of their signature drinks. Overall for the price and location, I would highly recommend the Luxe. Cheers!
It was a pleasure having you back at Luxe City Center Hotel. Our team will be happy to know they made your stay so memorable and it's wonderful to hear that our location worked out perfectly for you. Thank you for the recommendation, please come back soon. Cheers!

My son and I were in LA for the Crossroads Guitar Festival and the "across-the-street" convenience of the E-Central Downtown LA Hotel was perfect. We walked around, felt very safe, and enjoyed a few of the local area landmarks, like a phenomenal dinner at Flemings (across the street), a great late breakfast at the Original Pantry Cafe (2 blocks away), and tasty lunch at Wexler's Deli in the historic Grand Central Market a short Uber ride away. Our 2:30am. snack at Denny's after the Sunday night concert was also a hit. But beyond our stomach's, the accommodations, the pillows, the room size was very comfortable. It was a very memorable experience, and this hotel was a good part of the memories. Thank You

We booked E-Central for our visit to LA for the Eric Clapton Crossroads Guitar Festival. The hotel was right across the street from the event, and close to other attractions (Grammy Museum, etc.). The front desk agents were wonderful - let us check in a little early and got us a quiet room in the back of the hotel. (The guitar festival outdoor plaza festivities were pretty loud.) The room was large and comfortable. Had a giant LG TV mounted on the wall. All the amenities were top notch, including slippers and nice robes. Bed was comfy and towels were fluffy. Shower was nice and large and good water pressure. We loved our stay and will be back.

This hotel was a perfect choice for our weekend at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival at Crypto.com Arena. It was a 3 minute walk to venue, great dining close by, and a wonderful experience! Gina, at the front desk, was helpful with early check-in. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with extra seating. The towels were fluffy and soft, the bed was super comfortable and the staff was friendly. I used the fitness room and found many workout possibilities. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here, will be our 1st choice next time!

Friendly, clean, comfortable, quiet and great location. Everything I could hope for; and at a reasonable price too! I booked on expedia - but later needed to change reservation and rebooked direct; the cost was the same

We were very pleased with the friendliness & efficiency of the hotel staff, front desk workers, and workers in the lounge. Everyone was very helpful. The workers at the front desk were always smiling and asking how they could assist us. The housekeeping staff was friendly and very efficient. We enjoyed our time in the lounge on the second story. Very relaxing.

Be aware that they charge for EVERYTHING!!! Early check in extra, late check out extra (we asked for an extra 1.5 hrs and they said we can give you 30-mins) parking extra. Do not accept the water either—it’s not complimentary. You will be charged. Coffee, robe, slippers—you are charged for EVERYTHING. AND there is a hidden deposit fee of $100 per day they surprise you with when you arrive that you have to pay for. Yes it’s $100 per day. They say you’ll get it back, but then you don’t because they charge you for all the little things and the deposit is used for that. When you question the deposit they will tell you it’s on the website but they don’t say where. Again… HIDDEN And the food at the hotel is disgusting. So don’t bother. It’s overpriced and overcooked. Also be prepared for the bar to never be open. It’s supposed to be open till 1am but closed every night at 9pm because “it was slow”. I’ve literally never heard of that—like the hours are till 1am. What if I wanted to come at 10:00, which we tried multiple nights and it was closed the whole time. And the staff — rude! Rude! Rude! The only people who where nice was the Valet Parking Attendant and Bell Hop — of course, they want their tips. The Valet was actually helpful and provided more information than the hotel staff. I’m not surprised by the hotel staff though because when you complain, management is worse, so the staff behave like the managers. So don’t bother complaining. Just leave a 1 star review after. If you have to stay in Downtown LA be prepared to be robbed by all the hotels though. Cause they all have the hidden fee. However, the food is better at several other hotels and the bars were always open. Also parking isn’t free anywhere. You have to pay parking everywhere in downtown LA. So just keep that in mind.

Please accept our apologies for the food at the bar being less than satisfactory, that is certainly not up to expectations. Our Bar is open until 10pm on weekdays and 12am on weekends, however we do sometimes adjust the hours based on business - I am sorry we closed early the night of your stay. As you stated in your review - all the costs, taxes, and fees affiliated with your reservation are standard for any hotel in Los Angeles (and large cities in general) - which seemed to be the main negative factor in your stay. We have all costs listed on our website and reservation sites to make it as clear as possible before you book to do our best to ensure guests are not surprised when they get to the hotel.
