I arrived at the Mayfair after a long flight from Hong Kong. From the outside, it doesn't look like much but once you get to your room your outlook will change drastically. The lobby is re-finished and the rooms have gone through a recent renovation. Everything looks new and I had a better stay than my $500 room at the... More

We booked this room in January and they somehow couldn't figure out a way to give us the room we paid for by the time June came around. We were told at the time of checking in that although we booked a room for 4 people, they could only give us a King room and a roll out bed. Fine.... More

This place was a dump! under construction, one of the 3 elevators worked, ice machine on 2 floors in the whole hotel, carpet kept coming up and tripping us, and the worst part of it all it was in a crappy neighborhood.

The location fairly ok accessible to the freeway and to downtown restaurants . However the the rooms are standard . And also we had our bathroom pipe burst whilst staying there . Really needs some Updating and matinance .

Room was huge but dirty and dark. Bathroom flooded when I had a shower and was tiny. I paid for the delux room and had a fold out couch as a bed. Carpet was lifting in the middle of the room. Elevators were either extremely slow or not working. Due to Windows being cleaned I had to keep my blinds... More

The hotel from the minute you walk in is under extremely heavy construction which we were unaware of. The breakfast was non existent due to this. Only one elevator worked and it was severely outdated. The room is spacious in regards to the bedding but the sheets were uncomfortable. The bathroom is the size of a mini ensuite and not... More

I don't understand the many critical reviews of this hotel. It was a safe 15 minute walk night or day from the Metro (underground rail) station at 7th Street and Metro Center, a 50 minute ride from Aviation station on the Metro Green (rail) line, changing to another line at Willowbrook. The staff were friendly with a lady allowing me... More

We were booked ahead for a 5 night stay here. Based on the available pictures online, it looked nice. There was a big difference from the online pics and reality. I didn't mind the decor, but dark grey/black trim would not be a first choice for a hotel room. The room, closet (lacking hangars) and bathroom were small (nice shower... More

I stayed at this hotel for a week for the NALC convention. The only good thing about this hotel is that it is close to the convention center. When I arrived there, they did not have a room for me even though they had charged my credit card $800.00. After several calls to Booking.com, they had to give me a... More

Great place , had a pleasant stay. Rooms are smaller than normal but newly renovated which made up for it! Valet attendants were very courteous and great about suggesting places. May not want to walk around alone at night but cabs and uber can get you anywhere without any problems. I would definitely stay there again. Once the renovations are... More
