Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.

From the hotel's own photos, the place looks amazing, so we were a little surprised when we turned up as the hotel is a lot more run-down than you would think from the photos. The neighbourhood is unpleasant and far away from main tourist attractions and nice restaurants. However

What places to eat are near the hotel for vegetarians? And is there easy access to metro or walking to tourist attractions?
Metro is just down the road. We walked to The Kitchen on 4348 Fountain Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90029. About a +10 minutes walk. Nice place and friendly staff but I would not know if they can offer vegetarian meny. Could be worth a try given the short walking distance. Enjoy

Is there parking?? How much?
Parking is $24 + 10% tax for registered guests which included unlimited in and out privileges. The gated parking lot entrance is located on Lexington Avenue, a side street off Vermont Avenue, on the north side of the hotel. Pull a parking ticket from the ticket dispenser to open the gates and park in any open space. The parking lot is also equipped with 3 self service Chargepoint electric vehicle (EV) chargers for J1772 plug in vehicles and 3 Tesla EV chargers for all Tesla vehicles. Happy Travels!

Why do you have guests stay in rooms that are in need of repairs?
I’m surprised to see these comments. Our stay was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was fine. If you had issues with your room, I would have asked to change rooms.
