My visits to USC are always relaxing when I can return to Patsy's. The breakfast conversations are the best- families from all over to converse with while savoring the panna cotta. I enjoy the quiet walk through the neighborhood in the mornings and easy in/out process is a plus.

We chose this place because it was very close to The Shrine Auditorium & Expo where we had tickets for a show. We wanted to be able to walk from the inn to the event space. It was perfectly located for us, with the Shrine being only a 15 minute walk away. Located nearby are several places to pick up... More

I was looking for a different experience than the traditional hotel experience I typically engage in when traveling to LA. I needed to be close to USC, and this inn proved to be at a perfect location. Less than 10 minutes away, with vibrant conversation over breakfast. It's an old house, with original furniture, but large rooms and inviting bathrooms.... More

I attended a meeting in Torrance, outside Los Angeles, last month, and decided to spend a couple of days in LA beforehand as a tourist since I'd never been there. I chose the Inn at 657 because of its reviews and location. A good choice! My room had ample space for me. Breakfast was large and varied, served family-style. I... More

The location of The Inn is with in walking distance of Shrine Auditorium which is where our weekend seminar was located. It has beautiful curbside appeal and is very authentic. Our room had ample space with a bathroom that was also very ample. The bed was very comfortable ... something that is very important to us. We had a very... More

We had another occasion to visit the Inn. I was officiating a wedding in the Rose Garden at Exposition park and knew this location would be perfect while we were there. They have made improvements to the grounds since our last visit. We were once again treated to excellent breakfasts and enjoyed the hospitality of Patsy and her daughters. We... More

We reserved four rooms for USC's graduation weekend - with one of the rooms being a double. The rooms were adorable, decorated with antiques and well sized. The bathrooms were clean and water pressure was excellent. Of course the best part was the tasty full breakfast each morning. Fresh fruit, wonderful pastries and eggs. Patsy and her daughters were wonderful... More

It was a pleasant experience that a B and B could accommodate our 3 different families, all gathered for a USC graduation of one of our own.We had a lovely breakfast together; could convene in the gracious living room together; have a late snack together. Patsy and her daughters, Lisa and Tracy, were perfect hosts, who made our stay most... More

Spent 3 nights here on a recent trip to LA. Loved being able to stay in a neighborhood, with easy access to downtown and the freeway. Bed was super comfy, everything was very clean and lovely, and the breakfasts rocked (they will accommodate your food requests graciously.) All this plus free onsite, offstreet parking, a lovely sitting area (which we... More

Patsy and her daughters Lisa and Tracy are wonderful hosts and they cook a superb breakfast, especially notable for the fresh fruit served with panacotta—yum! I particularly appreciated the fact that breakfast is served at a long table, so you can meet other guests. Our room was equipped with an amenity that is too often missing: a reading lamp on...
