Poor service, out of menu food, nice pool. I really wanted to like this hotel, it’s cute and trendy. But it fell on its face when it came to anything substantive, like service or food. And the beds were not quality, worst sleep I’ve ever had.
Tucked away from the huge big box airport hotels is this totally unique and sweet place with delicious food, creative drinks, chill vibe and fabulous staff. Public spaces weave indoor/outdoor encompassing a cute pool and sun area, 2 terrific restaurants and super chic bar. The rooms are all one needs - functional funky and spare with deep, plush amazing beds more than make up for any frou frou you might be missing. Ev-er-ry-one fits in beautifully and is made to feel special.
Very pungent smells of Marijuana at all times even in room. More of a young persons motel not a hotel like it states. But overall esthetics of hotel looked nice an somewhat upscale, ( not a 4 star hotel) as stated! but it was just SMOKE & mirrors.
It was a lovely hotel (beautifully designed) inside and out. Service was excellent. Did one night just wanted to get away from home and we slept so good. I would recommend this hotel. Wish we could have stayed more. But definitely will be back.
We stayed one night before flying back to UK and wish we had longer here. So much to praise! The staff were really friendly and professional at all times. Our huge room was stunning on the 11th floor with a fabulous view over the city. They had made a real effort to acknowledge our honeymoon with a note and wine in the room. The pool facilities are great and the attached restaurant and cocktail bar are amazing. 10 mins in a taxi from LAX.
Such a cute place with nice aesthetic and lovely staff. Everything was so nice and the ambience in the restaurant made me feel like I was somewhere else. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a nice getaway!
We decided to stay at the hotel June as a staycation for my husband’s birthday. I was able to book the room using Marriott hotel points. We brought our daughter along for our two day getaway. Upon checking in, we were pleasantly greeted and surprised that we could upgrade our room to the apt suite (separate living area with two baths!) for what we consider a small fee. The room was minimalist and perfect. They really nailed it here with the hotel aesthetic. We got an early check in and headed down to the Caravan swim club. Drinks and food were so yummy and they were able to accommodate our child’s food allergies which is huge. We had dinner at the scenic route, the oysters, Brussels and chop salad were favorites. Juan by the pool and for dinner was the best! He was a great server! The entire staff was attentive and friendly. This hotel has such a fun vibe, it’s super well priced for an LA hotel and is near the airport. We will definitely be back! …
Hotel June is a cute, boho-themed hotel just a few minutes from LAX. We selected the hotel based on its proximity to the airport, which was our first priority. There isn’t a lot to do within walking distance of the hotel, so we took ride share to the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, which was nice for shopping and dining. The hotel was clean and quite cute, with well-appointed bath amenities. We had drinks in the hotel restaurant bar, where we found the service polite, attentive, but also subdued. In the morning, we had an 11 am reservation for the restaurant; upon arriving at 10:58 am, we were reminded by the restaurant hostess that the restaurant opens at 11 am, as she seated us. I found that odd and off-putting — are people not on time/early in LA??!! It became clear as we sat there for the first few minutes that the restaurant wasn’t ready to open at 11 am. But again, we made a reservation, so they knew we were coming…. Anyway, the food was delicious, though the menu is limited, and the craft cocktails were the highlight of both our visits to the restaurant. …
We checked out on June 6th we stayed in room 903, I just checked out and I see there is a valet service charge. Not a single person when I checked in informed me that the valet cost money. When we checked in the girl who checked us in barley gave us any information and was so short and rude. When I checked in I expect the staff at June hotel to inform that besides the hotel service fees there is a 36 dollar valet. I would have parked my own car. I cant afford 36 dollar for valet. I would like those charges revised because not a single person mentioned that the service cost money.
Double check the price during check in. I was quoted one price when I called and after arriving the price had risen. The rooms quality does not match the price asking per night. Many of the hard surfaces were still dirty from the previous guest.
