I wanted to take a moment to give a big thank you to Peter at the valet. It was pouring down rain and he continued to greet us with a smile and made sure we were comfortable from the truck to the front door. It is very important to make a good first impression and Peter did an awesome job. I definitely recommend this hotel and will be patronizing this establishment.

Love this hotel. Wonderful staff, great food, fun decor and very clean. Also, for the quality you get, very reasonably-priced. The pool + restaurant area are a wonderful oasis. Cool vibe. Note: there's not much around to walk to, but it's SO close to some great areas like Marina Del Rey, Venice + Culver City.

We were here for Parents' Weekend at LMU, for which this hotel is EXTREMELY well located (i.e. within walking distance from campus). Rooms are clean, staff is friendly, overall a very upbeat, relaxed vibe that was appreciated. I've stayed here twice and had problems with hot water in shower both times, however. But other than that, great stay. The Manchester across the street (recommended by staff) is fantastic for drinks and dinner - FYI. We didn't try the hotel restaurant. Room was nice and quiet. Super close to LAX, and an easy drive to beaches + Venice... it's a great location.

Drove up to valet and was greeted with a friendly smile and courteous demeanor. Gave perfect instructions for the car park. At check in was greeted with kindness and professionalism. The room was great and so was the service. Will always stay here as well as recommend the property.

We were disappointed to find out after the fact that animals were allowed in the rooms. The establishment apparently favors consideration of accommodation for animals than the health and/or concerns of the clients. Whether such rooms are adequately CLEANED after an animal's stay is questionable.

This is a very unique hotel. Pluses: Fantastic and helpful staff Comfortable, well appointment rooms Good location with lots of places to eat nearby Beds are very comfortable Minuses: $40 a night for valet parking The shower doesn’t have a full shower door and water goes all over the place $15 amenity charge per day I’d probably stay here again but the hotel does have its quirks

This hotel appeared on my radar after a search of Santa Monica/West LA hotel options. June is nicely renovated and appointed. The hotel's marketing photos were accurate. The design was honest and comfortable. The location is easy if you are coming and going from LAX. Eating and drinking options are very limited but that's what a car is for in Los Angeles, isn't it? Staff was super cordial and friendly. And that matters. Self service complimentary hot coffee was way better than the brew yourself or any Tarbucks kiosks. Thank you June. You made it easy. I'll try you again in a warmer month. The bikes looked very enticing.

The room is simple and very clean. The bed is very comfortable but there are too many extra charges on top of the base rate. I understand there are tax and fee, but then there is a resort fee, parking fee of almost 40 dollars and all parking are valet parking. That means tips. All those fees add up to around 65% of the base room rate that I was paying.
