I was delighted to meet the two attendants at the front desk when I checked in. They were very knowledgeable about anything and everything, throughout my whole stay. The only person that didn’t match the ambiance was the manager, he always seemed rustled and anxious with his staff anytime I passed through the lobby. He also wasn’t knowledgeable about the Hotel June website that he had me scan since he didn’t know some answers to my questions. The breakfast was delicious and professionally made. My room, which faced the airport was phenomenal! Gorgeous view, perfect weather and a clearly updated room which was heavenly quiet. Thank you so much for the experience. I will be going back in October for my monthly visit to LA and I don’t want to stay anywhere else but Hotel June!

Dear TheAbyssa - Thank you for the review and the shout-out for our Front Office Team! I'm so pleased you loved everything about our property and we can't wait to welcome you back! My apologies if the manager you interacted with appeared anxious .. we have a few new colleagues, so perhaps it was one of them who is still learning. I promise whomever it was will work to improve and blow you away next time! Carly

Hotel June was such an amazing small boutique hotel! So much personalized attention, assistance, services. The reception was friendly and accommodating. The valet services were prompt and friendly. We could tell they were short staffed at breakfast and in their restaurant, but this was to be expected right now with the labor shortage in the entire US in the service industry. Highly recommend Hotel June!!

We were dropping our child a local univeristy and was planning to stay at this hotel for 5 days. Upon arrival at the hotel we drove in and was attempting to park while trying to get our berings on the ins and outs of registering. Upon entering driveway we drove through an shared or adjoining driveway and park in a back parking lot 2nd floor. Upon parking and walking to entrance to the hotel a very rude parking attendent (assume valet) asked me what I was doing and I informed him parking the car and cheking in to hotel. He informed me to move my vehicle and I informed him then why was gate entrance open and no signage indicated it was valet parking only. I got it care and drove away and left message for GM of hotel to call me, To date no call from GM. I will be informing all LMU parents via the board not to stay at this hotel. Very rude staff and lack of follow up.

Dear lmudad - I haven't received a message from you, so please reach out to me with your contact information so we can connect (carly.skinner@thehoteljune.com) The gate you drove through is our secured parking lot where valet holds guest vehicles. It was likely open while valet moved cars in and out. All signage is posted at the entrance to the hotel at the valet office, and there are signs at the lot which read "No Hotel Parking" to advise against guests self-parking and getting towed. All that being said, I apologize if our valet came across as rude, as they are oftentimes our most praised colleagues! We have quickly become the hotel of choice for families of LMU students and staff, and since you did not truly get the chance to enjoy our property, I hope you will have a chat with me first before you review us based on such a limited experience. Kind Regards, Carly

We stayed here while moving our daughter into her dorm at LMU and it was just amazing! Every single person was patient and accommodating. They held out gazillion bags when we arrived early. The rooms were clean and much bigger than I expected--we 11 suitcases and random other stuff and we still had plenty of room to move around. The pool was super relaxing as well. Valet was fast. Everything was really great--thank you!!

Dear jillj970 - Thank you for the fantastic review! We have had such a great time getting to know the LMU families - first for the graduation a few weeks ago, and now as students return to in-person learning! I look forward to welcoming you again when you visit your daughter next, and hope she has a great year at school! Kind Regards, Carly
