Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.

We travelled from Las Vegas to Las Angeles and decided last minute to spend the night. We were a family of 5. It’s difficult to find accommodations for such a large group last minute. I was able to secure, a 2 bedroom suite with a pull out bed for under $200. Not the fanciest hotel but it was clean. Price also included a basic breakfast (coffee, tea, juice, toast, cereal. I feel it was reasonably priced. Would stay there again if ever in the area.

LA is in general pricy and the hotels are different standards than in other cities, but I still don’t regret staying in this inn. It was fairly close to the Hollywood Western station, it has a 1$ shop right in front, breakfast included (toasts with jam or butter, muffins and some pastry, juice and coffee too), it’s fairly in the middle if you want to see Universal Studio and Walk of fame, so I would say, for our stay - all we needed. Of course the air-con is loud and we had to turn it off for the night, or course the bathroom was not super high standard but to be honest, you don’t need more than what they offer. I would totally stay there again

I stayed here for 3 days last week during the 4'th of July celebration. It was a 15 minute walk from the Hollywood/Western Metro Station and a 20 minute walk to Hollywood/Vermont Metro Station. Check in was fast and easy. I appreciated the brochure/map rack and pizza restaurant menus! Room was spotless. No bugs. Water pressure in shower was fantastic. I appreciated the fridge in the room. Bed was average for a motel. It was clean also. Location was good. McDonalds, Grocery Store, Liquor Store, and tons of local fast food restaurants within walking distance. If you want to visit Griffith Park Hollywood sign take the metro or walk to the Hollywood/Vermont station and catch the Dash shuttle to Griffith Park. It's only 50 cents. DTLA is only a 13 minute subway ride also. Hollywood/Highland is only a 5 minute ride away that's where the main sights in Hollywood are or you could take a Uber or Lyft. Wifi was super fast also. I enjoyed my stay very much and would definitely stay here if I visit LA again in the future.

I was warned to go here by a review that claimed there was a cricket in the bathtub. I deeply regret not heeding this advice, as when I arrived I was dismayed to find—you guessed it—a cricket in the bathtub. Breakfast non-existant, staff suck, parking sucks, neighbourhood sucks.
