Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.
Powered by AI
Stile Downtown Los Angeles By Kasa offers a stylish stay that some find noisy, with rooms earning both kudos for design and critiques for lighting issues. The amenities, including a vibrant rooftop and a convenient coffee bar, generally receive praise, although parking and Wi-Fi have been points of contention. The hotel's cleanliness and maintenance of its historic charm are widely celebrated. While the buzzing atmosphere and central location are appreciated by many, others feel the hotel's ambiance is overly loud or excessively trendy. Service is often commendable, yet some guests have encountered neglect. Moreover, the value has been questioned due to various unexpected charges and the disturbance from noise.

Awful hotel. Was accused of smoking in the room and fined without notice. Also tried to charge for things in minibar we did not take. Charged my card $700 for a $150 a night stay. Stained sheets and dishonest staff. Thank god it's closing down. Cameron was particularly difficult to deal with. And Michael beers has been posing as a senior member of management when he's not

Unless you like pounding, loud hip hop music blasting from the rooftop until 2:00 am, do NOT stay here on a weekend. Sleep will be impossible, and the folks at the front desk absolutely couldn’t care less. The web site discloses that a DJ plays music. . .it does not disclose that this is high volume screaming, pounding dance music that blares all over the neighborhood

I got to the hotel and there was no one at the front to valet. I had to double park to check in and then go find a parking garage. When I booked my room I was told there was valet and a garage for my rental. While parked in front to bring my luggage in I received a parking ticket. The breakfast available next morning was a stale croissant and cup of fruit. I was told it had to be to go because there was no service. The room was nice though. If you just want a room and nothing else you might be ok staying here.

What a disappointment, spend your money somewhere else! I have seen better dorm rooms than this. The used crate for a night stand was not urban chic, more like urban crap. Stained carpets, the unfinished concrete ceiling, no bed comforter just a wool army blanket. The hotel has no parking. You have a park in a public structure and walk with your belongings around the homeless people on the sidewalk. The “restaurant” upstairs sells hotdogs and chips. I don’t think they had a kitchen, just a small area with a microwave. The bed was so hard, I couldn’t sleep. The urban chic was lost on me. I want my $200 back.

Stayed here last Saturday night (10/28/2023) for the first time. Beautiful building and location was great for The Orpheum Theatre but I've stayed in nicer squats. I guess they are going for a chic urban boutique hotel but the room was depressing! It was like a eastern block housing project. Bed was butted up to the wall with windows facing the street and was a very odd layout. Room was also very open to the noise on the street (we were on 8th floor) so we didn't sleep much. Definitely would never stay here again, too pretentious.

Whatever you do don’t stay here. Unless you like paying for a room with constant noise, cars, motocycles, pumping house music, fights outside the hotel door. A total nightmare. I have had no sleep for 3 days. Not a good way to end a seven week working trip to the U.S.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT COMFORT AND LUXURY. place is a freaking dump! dirty ugly old yellow carpeting in “bedroom area“ and beat up old looking furniture. CONCRETE FLOORS IN BATHROOM AREA LIKE JAIL. the place smelled too like sweaty nasty feet. even the elevator stunk bad! the sheets were not bleached clean and crisp..found a small stain or 2. dirty tiles in shower! disgusting and run down. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO THE HOXTON!! And they charge you a $34 resort fee after you check out!! $250 for a sleepless night in a dump

I had an amazing experience at this location, from the comfortness of the room and as well it has a really cool design too. The staffs were amazing and Dorian was such a gentleman and very helpful. Great location, walking distance to all great restaurants in the neighborhood. If you happen to be in downtown LA or stay here don’t forget to check out Upstairs Roof top, they have amazing food and cocktails! Wish I could stay longer :)

Have stayed here two times and both have been awesome! Great and friendly service, Mike and Cam in front desk are all around awesome people. The downstairs bar was awesome as well as the rooftop. Love the complimentary drinks and pastries, the upgraded room we got. Rooms are clean, comfy beds, good space to move around. All around a great experience, thanks ACE!

Apparently we goofed when making reservations. Cameron the GM not only made it possible for us to stay when the hotel was booked so we could watch Wilco but also upgraded us! Exceptional service. Food and drinks were creative and delicious. Roof top was fun. They also gave our two standard poodles lots of love.
