This hotel is spotless! The people who work here are very friendly and make you feel like you are part of their family. A good little breakfast comes with your room. The only problem is the parking is on the street. If you come in after 6pm, it makes it difficult to find a parking spot. We parked at the... More

My friend and I booked this hotel on Hotel Tonight for $161, which was about twice as much as the room was worth. Honestly, we paid for the location- right off Wilshire and close to Melrose. But that's the end of the positives of this hotel. When we got there, the "manager," Ross, refused to believe I was the one... More

Located on a nice residential street. Clean but old property. Not for those who are looking for modern lodging or updated amenities. You get a parking sticker but parking is not guaranteed. You have to cross your fingers and hope you find a parking spot on the street.

This is a pleasant hotel in a nice part of LA, located close to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the La Brea Tar Pits, and Hancock Park. Our room was large and well appointed. We were pleased by the good value it offered. The hotel caters to "kosher" travelers; e.g. it uses old-fashioned room keys that can be... More

The rooms have a older charm and are clean. The breakfast was basic. Nice patio's. Room was larger than expected. Security is lacking. The doors to the outside are never locked, anyone could walk in un noticed from the back door. The maid never knocked before entering a room. My room rate was $10 per night higher than booked, but... We stayed here for a total of 4 nights. We were upgraded to a king room so that was a bonus! The room was huge and the bed super comfy. Plenty of space for all of our luggage. Location was ok - we were near a stop for the Hop On Hop Off bus s we took that most days... More

We were very happy with this hotel..Very large rooms turn this into the perfect place to stay for an extended period of time (as opposed to overnight). The (kosher) breakfast was a treat for us, and the staff very pleasant. Only complaint is re the parking - though we found along the street side with relatively little trouble.

Parking can be hard, as anywhere in LA, I guess. Not the hotel's fault. Location is very good and the neighbourhood is nice, quiet. One thing that was not quiet was our neighbours across the hall. The walls are very thin, and these two ladies across the hall drank and fought every single night for three nights before the police... More

Set in a old yet well-renovated hotel building, Wilshire Crest retains a retro charm that brings back a 60s vibe. Thanks to its central location, this hotel is an excellent base to explore the best of LA like the downtown and Hollywood! Although it's only a few minute drive to the interstate, it's set in a quiet safe neighborhood that... More
