Just back from our vacation and HHH was the first hotel we stayed at. Have to say the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the views from the hill were fantastic and the location was perfect. One block from Hollywood Boulevard - back home here in the UK this would have meant having to pay considerably more. Ok the rooms...

When we arrived to check in, the receptionist was at pains to emphasis that the Hollywood Hills Hotel is cool, but that it is unusual. If you're looking for something a little bit different from your standard hotel experience, this could be for you. If you just want convenience and the normal mod-cons, then stay in the Magic Castle Hotel...

We recently stayed at the Hollywood Hills Hotel and it was a very nice place. The views were fantastic, though the walk up to the hotel can be a bit taxing (they do offer a shuttle but we needed the exercise!) The room was clean and had a nice little kitchen (with dishes and cookware, as well as a microwave.)...

I have no idea how the last two people gave such bad reviews. Yes, you check in down the hill at Magic Castle, no big deal. The staff was very nice and helpful.Yes, you have to get your free snacks and drinks at the front desk, no big deal, they're free. Breakfast was fine, basic continental fare, it's free! Stayed...

Don't let the reviews here fool you. Yes, the location is nice. Yes, the staff is friendly. Yes, the front desk (down the hill by car) has free snacks. Yes, the views are expansive and desirable. Yes, there is a kitchen or kitchenette and the rooms are more spacious than average hotel rooms. BUT, the rooms are pitifully dirty and...

A friend and I just stayed at the HHH last weekend...our experience was consistently odd, from start to finish. On the plus side, the location is awesome and the views are amazing. The pool is fine and it's nice to have a kitchen in your room, though we had some issues with our ability to use it-more on that later....

This past Saturday I stayed at the Hollywood Hills Hotel with 7 other buddies for a bachelor party. We had 2 of their suites and I picked this hotel because of its location to where we would be eating and going out as well as the reviews I read. I went into it not expecting it to be a 4-5...

We were in Los Angeles the last week in May and due to unusual circumstances had to stay in two different hotels that week. We stayed three days at the Best Western Sunset Plaza which was very nice but rather expensive and did not have very helpful front desk staff. For the rest of our stay we were at the...

As some of the other reviews stated, the rooms at the HHH could stand some updating. But, that being said, it was an incredible find and a great value. Most of the famous Hollywood landmarks are in walking distance. The breakfasts are fresh and delicious (not the pitiful excuse for breakfast that is served at many B&B's), and the staff...

I have stayed in hotels all over the world but I have never seen more a personable or genuinely caring staff than the Hollywood Hills! Our journey began with contacting Megan as our concierge and guide to reservations, tours, you name it! She set the tone for this hotel and should be CLONED as the way people should be treated...
