A little costly. The hotel is clean, quaint and convenient. I think the rooms are a little expensive and water at $13 a bottle is a bit much. But easy to buy outside and bring in. Restaurant food was very good. AM coffee a good bonus.
This hotel is so beautiful, in a perfect part of town surrounded by bars, restaurants, and fun night life. This is my first experience at this hotel and I HIGHLY recommend it. I have to say that one of the employees stood out.such an amazing guy! Brian was awesome! Made me feel 100% at home! Super helpful! Super friendly! Super guy! I give this hotel an A+.
Just spent 3 weeks at the Pali and it felt like a home. The staff are lovely and welcoming, especially Mona who helped with everything we could have wanted. Only downside was the Wi-Fi had bad signal and just slow.
The hotel is located super near to do shopping. Also rooms are nice and cozy. Bed is good and the guy in the reception Brian gave us an amazing welcome and super tips for food. We will come back for sure
The best help from Brian at the front desk! Great recs! The hotel is in a great location, nearby many vintage and clothing stores. The only thing I found a bit disappointing is the heater is not in the room.
Needed a solid location for one day to work after a fun weekend with friends. This seemed to fit the bill. I arrived at 11am fully knowing that I'd have to check my bags, but Maria, the front desk agent called housekeeping and sure enough, a room was ready- super appreciated after a long weekend. Room is thoughtfully designed IMO. Pretty dark, but theres lots of different and fun lighting that served my needs. Also the bottom half of the windows is frosted (At least on the first floor), so that let light in too. I did have a room on the 1st floor which was pretty loud, but if you aren't on the back of the hotel, this won't matter as it is a small hotel. Bathroom shower was amazing, and LOVE the Diptyque products! Also thoughtful touches of earplugs were appreciated. The hotel doesn't have any super crazy fun amenities, but it is good for a quick stay. The only drawback is the walls are super thin and you can hear EVERYTHING in rooms next to and above you, so be careful about this if you're super sensitive.…
I had a great stay at this location! The room was super clean, location very easy to find, parking is very affordable and efficient. The staff was super welcoming and friendly. Brian at the front desk was so helpful and kindly welcomed us every day. This was a great stay and would highly recommend.
Had such an amazing stay here for a couple of days. Brian was so incredible and was so accommodating to all our needs! This place is perfect if you need a cute little quaint place to stay. Would 10/10 recommend!
tired and in desperate need of maintenance, was old folks home prior to hotel - start there. no in room thermostat so hallways inferno - rooms ice cold. no phones, all water fixtures thread bare, staff indifferent and not helpful, cable unplugged, paper thin walls could hear neighbor on phone ALL NIGHT, parking garage lock didn't work had to walk all the way back around to front and back, restaurant was being fumigated and closed, $14 bottled water, old beds, expired and stale bath amenities, empty body wash and shampoo, fumigation notice on surrounding buildings, should I go on?
My husband and I chose the hotel for its location to our children, the charm and good trip advisor reviews. All staff was courteous , helpful and knowledgeable. We will definitely return on our next trip to LA.
