We stayed at this hotel because it was the least overpriced hotel in the area and it was within walking distance of Universal Studios. Check in was easy. The room was acceptable for the price difference between it and the 2 hotels on Universal property. The price may seem high, but for the location, it isn't too bad. The bed... More

This hotel really does have a great location if you are looking to visit Universal Studios. It is a 20 minute walk, so saves the high parking charges there. BUT, I think it would have been better value to have found a hotel further away and paid the parking charges at Universal Studios and then we would have been staying... More

Got in fairly late, but there were 2 men working Check In so it went quickly. Rooms were rather comfy, nice sized. Pool is about the same size as a huge hot tub, not really for swimming. Hotel served our needs well. The walk to Universal isn't that bad. Yes it is uphill, but as a guy who has leg... More

I can say two positive things about this hotel. One, it was walking distance (about a 15 minute stroll) to Universal. Two, it was clean. After that it was all downhill. First off check in took forever which baffled me since I had already paid in full before I arrived. The gentleman who was checking me in that night seemed... More

My fiancé and I stayed at The Tilt Hotel for 5 days. We noted right away that the lobby and other common areas were very clean and well-maintained. You needed a room key to access the elevator which I liked for security reasons. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and very contemporary. The counter space was amazing. There was a microwave... We picked this hotel because we thought it was close to universal studios and also we could walk out of the hotel and be in the heart of things. Obviously I was wrong. The room was a great size and clean though the hotel does feel a bit dated. Staff were helpful if not enthusiastic. Universal studios is a 15... More

A great comfortable stay within walking distance of universal studios. Delicious free coffee available at all times. The staff were fantastic when my phone was left behind and assisted in returning it to me. Thank you!!!

It was our first trip in USA, we selected this hotel based on the reviews and proximity to Universal City as it was the main attraction for our trip. The rooms were clean and can be compared to any 5 starred hotel..The staff were gentle. We had arrived a day late, the staff offered us full assistance and showed great... More

Check in was ok but the check out was done by another person and he wasn't very helpful although it appeared that he had been there since the night before. The room is small and average but overall was clean. This hotel is very near to Universal Studio. Parking is $10 per night but I guess this is LA. I... More

Everything in the room was well-designed and coordinated for a very modern but comfortable look. The bed was very comfortable and so was the other furniture, something most hotels seem to neglect. Access to Hollywood and Griffith Park without using a freeway is precious.
