We made a last-minute reservation because the RV park we had planned to stay at was a little "methy" (sorry if that is not PC, it is just the truth).
Steve, the owner, was super accommodating of our need to get to a better environment. He was extremely helpful! He met us at the entrance and parked our travel trailer. Many other people in the community came out to say hello.
This park is so cute and feels like a real neighborhood. I felt safe walking our dog at night in the park and it was pretty quiet with the exception of some noise from the street on occasion. But we were very close to the street as we were a last-minute reservation. Our Starlink didn't work well because of the trees but the park had good wi-fi and who can complain about trees??? Especially the ones that had beautiful chandeliers hanging in them!
This park is truly a gem and Steve is a wonderful guy!! We would love to come back!!

What a wonderful little RV park, its unique, quiet and friendly. The owner and staff take great pride in the park and its guests and residences. When you check in there is a designated staging area where you disconnect your trailer and it is skillfully taken for you via a fork-truck to your site. Each site has a movie theme that makes it that much more memorable. The restrooms were small but themed and super clean. It was such a delight to be there a few days. We would definitely stay there again.

Truly a unique, vintage, quirky and wonderful place to stay . Steve, the owner, who started working here 50 years ago as a teenager, is the most welcoming and interesting host to date. If you spend a few minutes with him you can learn about some of the celebrities that stayed in the park before they got their big breaks, like Chuck Conners and Annette Funicello . Each lane of the park is named after a memorable Hollywood figure or set. My favorite is the Yellow Brick Road with the mural of the characters and a diorama of Oz on the corner. Steve has hired and still hires artists to decorate the park with murals, plaster characters and dioramas, and along with a fruit-bearing orange tree, various trees, shrubs and flowers the grounds are lovely and fun. The lanes are a bit narrow but Steve or his helpers are right there to guide you into your spot. Each spot has ample room around it to put out chairs and relax. The community room has a game night, a mural of angel wings ( for your Los Angeles portrait) and occasionally live music or performances. Laundry, showers and restrooms are clean and generously sized. The dog park has a dog obstacle course. We are already planning to return in a year just to stay and relax.

This is urban campground is close to everything. The owner Steve is very nice and friendly. The campsites are maybe small but it is expected in any urban campground. The bathroom is clean and well maintained, the laundry is also
clean, its open 24/7 and only cost $1.25 to wash and to dry. I says ifs pretty good LA price. There are a lot of long term campers, I think some of them are permanent but they don't bother you. Overall , I would stay here again!

What service is all I can say! Yes it is more expensive for a rv site with no pool however the service was outstanding from the moment we arrived to the end! It was our first trip we didn't know how to empty the sewage we were missing a piece to the connector they allowed us to use their hose free of charge we had a flat they helped us check all the tires pumped all of them with air for us! I'm just speechless and so grateful they were amazing I would 100 percent stay here again!

What a delightful surprise! We stayed two nights at HRVP for business in downtown Los Angeles. Steve and his team greeted us with smiles and warm conversation and then proceeded to help us get parked (24' motorhome).
We live in Northern California, in the country, so City people we are not. We were delighted by the quietness and peacefulness of this place. Steve has a warmth to him that makes this place feel like a home away from home. Everyone we saw was friendly. The sites are small to be sure, but we have stayed in many a campground with less space between units.
Safe, quiet, clean and friendly. With very few options in this area for those traveling with an RV, the Hollywood RV Park far exceeded our expectations. It is an oasis of tranquility in the City and I highly recommend it!!

And we drove up from San Diego in our 31 foot RV after speaking with Steve the owner of Hollywood RV park. Steve sounded like an amazing guy to meet and we were excited to learn more about the property. When we arrived, Steve gave us a personal tour and insight into the local Businesses that we may be wanting to use our we visited. He is upgrading the property constantly and is now ready to open a comedy store type of venue at the front of the property. It looks great and I’m excited to hear how things progress. Our stay, there was great, and he helped us hook up our Motorhome swiftly as we arrived.
I would definitely recommend this for any travelers passing through or stand in the area. A great experience!

We parked here for two nights last week and highly recommend it. It was very busy so we strongly recommend you book in advance. The site is level with good roads and all the necessary plumbing and electric connections. Communal shower and restrooms were clean and fully operational, but a little dated. Check in and out was very efficient and friendly and there was plenty of support on site if needed. There’s not a lot nearby except a bar, some shops and a couple of drive through eateries. Highly recommended.

I found this little diamond on the rough and ended up staying a bit longer than expected! A homey environment where Community is expressed through people who have been here whether it's been a quick trip, or for those that have been hear for YEARS!! Quiet. Not a lot of children actually. But, I feel that I'm the only one without a dog! Gorgeous evenings to walk the lit-up streets. Enjoy the paintings at every turn. They will not disappoint.

We stayed here for 3 nights from the 14th of May after we picked up our RV from Cruise America in Newark CA. We didn’t want to drive around the town so downloaded the Uber app. Cost roughly $15 a trip but between 3 it was worth it.
The park owner, Steve was great and showed us around and told us all about the place.
Few long time residents including our neighbour Alex, who were just lovely and helpful as well. Quite place, clean bathrooms and showers.

Yes they have showers ~ very clean! I didn’t see any pop up tent trailers but seems like they do not have any restrictions on the age of the trailer but I’d double check. The staff is super friendly and helpful 😊
We took the Ãœber to the nearest bus station, which eventually brings you to Hollywood (switch to subway halfway). Nearest bus stop is still quite a walk, especially with children.
We also took an Ãœber to Santa Monica, easily the quickest way.
We never saw any tents. I would just call Balboa and ask. It's not really a great place for a tent; you'd be better in some coastal campground. The surfaces at Balboa are astro turf and concrete.
