Charming, old school LA style, the grounds are beautiful, it has such opulence and elegance, I will stay here forever. I booked a King Bed Suite and it was amazing, very spacious, huge bathroom. Very conveniently located in actual Beverly Hills, the pool is so cute, beautiful décor honestly, the service has to improve, that is all I can say about it.

The room is a suite in a boutique looking hotel. Has a sitting area with kitchenette leading to decent size bathroom and bedroom with door to close off. The room is a little worn but kept super clean. Has a heated pool and hot tub. It’s close to Westwood, Beverly Hills, Hollywood , Santa Monica - but have to drive to everything and parking is costly $45/day.

This hotel is very pretty on first look but the room I got was cramped with the ugliest sofa that looked like it came from the salvation army in the 70’s. Definitely not what I was expecting from the lobby. No elevator to the higher floors and no help with bags. Twisted my ankle climbing. Ouch! Ruined my 5 day stay. Save your money don’t stay there. There are sooo many better places.

We have stayed at this hotel many times before but this has been the worst. The hotel is unkept, the floors in the rooms and in the corridors are dirty. The shower is either scolding hot or freezing, the water is difficult to maintain. The second day of our stay our rooms were not done and no clean towels were left when we called the front desk to complain we were told the hotel policy is that the rooms get done every 4 days. (Where in the world a room for $485USD gets cleaned only every 3rd day ?) The icing on the cake was when we returned to the hotel today, o found our room door open and no one in there or nearby (the room was made but no one around!). When I called the front desk I was only offered a “sorry”! No manager on duty to talk to! No one in charge for the weekend. So don’t waste you money as there are much nicer hotels to stay in!

The lobby is deceiving. You walk in thinking wow I found a great place. Then you pass the pool and still ..ok nice place. The walk to the room brings you to reality. Looks like a run down motel, lots of steps, up down left right zig zag to get to your room via some weird tropical forest vibe. The room looks like my grandmothers house. Old and beaten down furniture and carpeting. There was hardly any hot water and the tub was always flooding with water while you shower. At least the bed was comfortable or I would have been really annoyed. Also ridiculous to charge people for parking a car.

Dear Nur, We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us. I personally wanted to apologize for your experience while you stayed with us. We are disappointed that we were not able to meet your expectations. This is not the usual experience our guests have. Once again, I apologize for the outdated furniture, parking charges and anything else that caused you trouble. This review is being left for the Beverly Hills Hotel Spa (only) the hotel it’s self was awesome. The SPA on the other hand was a different story. I booked a couples massage since I would be in town for May 7th - I made the reservation a week before I arrived. Once I arrived, I was reassured that I was still set for my 6:00pm couple massage, as it got closer to 3:00pm I called to confirm that we were still set for the massage at that point I was told, only 1 person would be able to do the massage. I phoned every hour to check on the status of the massage, by 5:00pm I was told they still could only get hold of one person for the massage. By 5:30 I phoned back and was told the spa could only offer 1 massage and not a couple massage that we planned a week before-hand and had confirmation on. By 6:00pm no massage therapist came to my room. I phoned the spa - no one answered, my friend phoned the spa and still no one answered. This treatment was VERY, VERY, VERY DISRESPECTFUL and I am wondering if I would have been shown the same sort of blatant disrespect if I was not African American. The next day, the spa still did not apologize for not calling or showing up to do the service that I reserved a week prior to my arriving. You need to be ashamed of yourself BEVERLY HILLS PLAZA HOTEL AND SPA. You don't treat people that way - well clearly you do, but only people or color apparently. SPA SCORE ZERO (IF I COULD GIVE IT A NEGATIVE NUMBER I WOULD) SHAMEFUL.....

Dear Carol, Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a candid review. I'm happy to hear you loved our hotel area. The remarks made about the staff's unapologetic actions have deeply disturbed me. I apologize for any inconvenience caused by the spa not being available even though you had made a reservation a week prior. This is an issue that I will personally review with the rest of our team to make sure it does not happen again. Please accept my sincerest apologies for the trouble caused during your experience at the Beverly Hills Plaza Hotel & Spa. Best Regards, Beverly Hills Plaza Hotel & Spa Management

The spa service facial treatment I got has left a permanent mark on my otherwise flawless skin. I wish I could sue the woman who promised the complete opposite results. Lord have mercy on money hungry white women who will say anything to make a buck.

I decided to celebrate my wife’s birthday in Beverly Hills. Her day was great until we came back after dinner. The room was a little cold so we went to turn on the heater to discover the thermostat was locked. Strike one. At around 10:30pm we decided to go to the jacuzzi to relax together. After 12 minutes, someone from the hotel tells me we can not be here in the jacuzzi because it was too late. I apologized and answered by saying there aren’t any signs posted stating otherwise. He said he knows there’s nothing posted but we have to go. Strike 2! Later, we decided to get ready for bed and we discovered while brushing our teeth, that we were not getting hot water. We then ran the shower for at least 20 minutes and nothing but freezing water. We called the front desk to informed them of the problem and it seemed as if the guy who answered did not believe me. I explained that we ran the water and he continued to tell me that it was impossible. We both decided to send someone up to check. By now it’s around midnight and my incredible night with my wife is becoming a cold nightmare. We were told he would be in the room in 5 minutes but that turned into 28 minutes. Once he arrived, he went directly to the bathroom and ran the water for approximately 19 minutes to come to a conclusion and said we don’t have running warm water. At this point my wife is tired and irritated. The guy called someone and said that they can move us, but it’s going to take time because they were not sure if that room had warm water. It’s now close to 1am and they want us to pack up our things, walk to another room that may not have warm water and start over. At this point, all I can do is apologize to my wife. Because we were at the beach earlier in the day, we had to do the best we could by showering in freezing water. At check out on Sunday morning, we asked the guy at the desk if we could speak to a manager, he said we can’t and he promised to have someone call me. Well it’s now Monday the 2nd of November and we are STILL waiting. Just a word of advice before staying at The Beverly Hills Plaza and Spa, walk through your room and check everything first. Informed them of your itinerary and check how late or early you could enjoy the few amenities they have to offer. Or, stay somewhere else!

From start to finish this hotel experience was amazing! It is located in a safe area on Wilshire Blvd. Two ways to enter building through a lobby and a gated parking garage. The staff was so welcoming and friendly the entire 5 night stay. The lobby and grounds are gorgeous and welcoming. Our double bed suite was immaculately clean, fresh decor, new carpeting, and huge. Our suite had a view of the pool in the living room and flowered terrace in the bedroom overlooked Wilshire Blvd. I am picky. I have checked out of places upon arrival but this place is a gem. Heated pool and hot tub. Plenty of lounge area. We enjoyed room service a few times and it was delicious. Anytime we needed anything like towels, toilet paper, coffee, etc. it was a quick call with enthusiastic staff willing to accommodate and delivered timely. Our family is so thankful for the great experience. The staff literally treat you like family! We can’t wait to return:) Book and enjoy:)
