If you think you will get the “ritz” treatment, think again. I have traveled from the east coast to the west, and of all the properties I’ve stayed at, Ritz Carlton gets the lowest reviews. First off, covid is real but why spend the money here if you get zero amenities? In this Ritz, No room service for starters and you have to share the Marriott pool next door which was packed with people. Also, the housekeepers came into my room while I was in room and started cleaning. I had my AirPods in so not their fault but then such attitude when I asked them to come back later. “I’m off at 3:30” was response!” Asked for robes, did not receive. Asked for toilet paper. Not delivered. Our luggage was finally delivered after 3 calls. Boyfriend is titanium level. Miserable service.

Dear dmh94028, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at our hotel. I am sorry to hear the service you received was substandard. Service is a core focus of The Ritz-Carlton brand, and is certainly something we strive to provide in a manner that exceeds expectations. We are constantly working with staff on their service levels, and we look forward to welcoming you back and demonstrating a much better customer service experience. Thank you,

We had a wonderful stay at the Ritz Carlton in downtown Los Angeles, despite all the restrictions in place due to Covid-19. The staff was attentive and our room was a wonderful space to return to after being out around the city all day. Currently, services are limited and the Club Lounge, fitness centers, pool, and all other amenities outside of the room are closed, but we understand that the company is doing all that it can to help people feel safe during this time. I look forward to returning when we can take advantage of all that the hotel has to offer. As parents of a college student near DTLA, we have stated in several hotels in the area to be near campus, and our stay at the Ritz Carlton DTLA was by far our best experience.

Disclaimer stayed here during Covid madness and am first responder and got good rate because of if. I know these are crazy times and also I know there was no one there during my time and I understand that (I am super cool and reasonable) and staff was friendly but ....when I checked in I asked any “upgrades” and they said “no” Come on no one their and am titanium elite. The when I asked for coffee pods as none in room had to call about two or three times and I waited a long time before second phone call. In any case I know weird times but I am first responder and check in staff knew as there is a rate for us. A simple upgrade would have gone a long way in this crazy stressful time that’s all I am saying. I understand it’s crazy and limited staff. the staff otherwise were cool and amazing

One of the most average Ritz Carlton I’ve stayed at. Barry meets 5 star. The location is good, but also a bit sketchy at night, it’s right in the city center, the rooms are fairly small. The breakfast and service are unspeakable. If you’re a true fan of Ritz Carlton, I’d suggest you to stay at the one in Marina Del Rey

Some parts soggy like wet bread .. very bad. Old crust.. I ordered the brick oven pepperoni pizza at 10pm and was disappointed.. won’t order room service again. I have a large travel network and we work with a lot of hotels.. so I know what’s good and what’s bad... However, the room views are amazing and check-in with Rachael Rodriguez was very good. She’s very friendly and nice.
