El Tres, unit "uno" was an excellent place to spend a Monday night on a business/pleasure trip to LA. Great amenities,as others have described. The complimentary margaritas downstairs were strong and tasty. Fun and funky room and restaurant/ bar. Los Feliz itself is a great LA destination. After a long hike in Griffith Park, El Tres and Los Feliz offered... More

It was our first trip to LA and we were looking for something other than a chain hotel and something in a great location. El Tres was awesome - precisely what we were looking for. We spent 4 nights in Number Tres and we would have been happy staying there for a couple of weeks! There was tons of space... More

I can't recommend this place enough! I always put my mom up at El Tres when she comes to town, and she loves it. You do hear noise from the bar, especially on the weekends, so light sleepers beware. But it's so charming: a comfortable bedroom, kitchenette, living room, balcony, chandeliers, velvet couches, a turntable. And the Los Feliz/Silverlake neighborhood... More

Our "Ladies' Weekend" found the ideal accommodations at El Tres Inn. We took over the suites and had an overage of room in which to hang out, watch movies, prep snacks and chill. Being such a small hotel suited us perfectly as we could move about the space freely as friends. Having the bar and restaurant downstairs is ideal for... More

I absolutely loved the El Tres Inn. The suites are more like apartments than a traditional hotel room, which made me feel like I was living in the Silver Lake neighbourhood rather than visiting as a tourist. The suite I stayed in is the smallest in the building but still very spacious, and clean. The bathroom was large, with an... More

A friend recommended this little (just 3 suites) inn for us to explore Hollywood / Silverlake / Los Feliz. We were thrilled to receive a suite upgrade upon arrival. It was probably a slow weekend (in January) but it was our anniversary so it was a very nice treat. Many other reviewers have mentioned the free parking, a rarity in... More

As we were warned from previous reviews, the music did keep us awake 2 nights out of our 3 night stay. If you have noise-cancelling headphones to sleep with, or are very, very tired, the music might not be a problem for you. Also, to get to your car, you must walk through the restaurant patio outside among the patrons... More

My daughter and her fiance live in Los Feliz/Silverlake but have a small place, so we book a room when we visit. Last visit we got a screamin' deal at the Biltmore downtown. It was nice of course and fairly convenient, but anything we can do to cut down time spent in the car is a plus. Now that they... More

It was difficult to find rooms in the Los Feliz/Silver Lake area. Maybe this was a reflection of the time of year. I was directed to this inn by another hotel that was fully booked. There are only three suites in the inn. The spacious Uno Suite (equipped better than many efficiency apartments) was very cool and had everything I... More

My wife and I recently stayed 2 nights in suite 3 at El Tres Inn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It was like staying at a cool friend's apartment. Our suite had a living room, television room, seperate bedroom and kitchen. The suite was nicely decorated, sort of mexican vintage hipster (the best way I can describe it). The... More

“There are only three rooms. I think the Uno is the only one with the caution about nightclub noise; not sure about that. But it is a great room, on the back side of the building so a pleasant view to their garden patio and one of the Sunset roads (not sure which).”
