Amazing hotel with an angel: Dante at the reception. He was so kind and helpful. Actually all the staff was nice. Great location in downtown near restaurants and shop like Macy's. Rooftop pool was a highlight with panoramic view of the LA skyline. Confortable bed and big shower. Superb decoration, fantastic interior design. Coffee machine Nespresso in room.

My husband and I came into town to visit friends who live in DTLA. We went upstairs for drinks and apps but before we could go up we met Eddie who greeted us at the door and told us about the entire menu both downstairs and upstairs, recommended some awesome things for us to try, and was just a delight. On our way out we met Crisha and both Crisha and Eddie then helped my girlfriend and I do a quick amazing photo shoot in the gorgeous mirrors!!! They were absolutely the sweetest and best! I would 1,000% come back and stay at the hotel just because of them. They made our experience! Rooftop is also gorgeous and drinks/apps were delicious.

This was my third stay at Per La & we had an absolutely wonderful experience. Dante has been the person to check us in every time & he is an angel. For my husband's birthday he surprised us with champagne & bath salts when we returned after dinner. Per La is a romantic gem in DTLA & if you can get the full Dante experience it is not to be missed!

I stayed with my boyfriend two nights at the hotel and it was just wonderful. The cleanliness of the property is spot on, the ambience and overall atmosphere is cohesive and inviting. But the best was the team! From Manny & Jonathan at the Valet/Bell services with their warm greetings and wonderful attention to the guests needs to Dante at the front desk who makes you feel welcomed and excited to stay there. Part of my experience was to chat with them about the city, food and traveling. They all made an impact on my experience, now they form part of my wonderful trip to LA memories. You must stay here!

Wonderful hotel in DTLA for a quick getaway. We were upgraded into a beautiful suite. Comfy bed, not so comfy sofa. The tub was perfect for my 6’3” friend. It was overcast so we didn’t get to enjoy the rooftop pool, but the bar was great. The pool was heated but not enough without the sun. Didn’t dine at their restaurants because Zankou, Bottega Louie, and Little Sister are on the same block. Definitely recommend for a romantic getaway. The suite we were in would be perfect for a bridal party getting ready. A little loud from the street on the 3rd floor, so bring ear plugs or a white noise if you’re sensitive.

The hotel was very quiet as we stayed on a couple of grey weekdays. Everything had a great older vibe but also worked well. The area is hit or miss with some cool restaurants and events within walking distance. The heated rooftop pool was nice but not very heated. Would stay there again and on a sunny weekend I bet it would have been even better!

Great Suite for the price. Windows could be double glazed rather than a single glazed and in internal glaze for noise issues, but resolved with earplugs. On the topic of windows, double blinds was awesome as it made the room nice and dark. Shower was SUPERB. well thought out with the controls away from the head and wonderful pressure. Decor was fab, staff was friendly, the rooftop bar was delightful. Reception smelt a bit like sewage but assumed there was an ongoing issue & only briefly passed through so not really an issue. Surrounding area was a bit rough southwards but to be expected of DTLA and not the fault of the Hotel itself

My girls weekend, which happened to be my birthday weekend was spectacular. The hotel was beautiful, the service was absolutely professional and friendly!! I had such a wonderful time. The staff was excellent, Sara Fabian is great asset to your establishment. Beautiful decor, rooftop bar and pool, excellent bar service and food inside the hotel as well. If you booked with a 3rd party, there is a resort fee that is added to your bill at the property as well as $150/day hold for incidentals. (Ex. 5 days = $750 + $204)

Our hotel stay was amazing. The interior is absolutely gorgeous, with thoughtful art pieces and accents strewn throughout. Our room was spotless and beautifully designed- frankly felt more like a home than a hotel (in the best way). Also wanted to give a special shoutout to Sara at the front desk - she really made us feel welcome and took amazing care of us!
