From the second I got out of the Lyft (I still have no idea how they knew it was specifically me getting out of that car) I felt taken care of to a level I haven't felt in years. The entire staff knew who I was and called me by my first name (A nice touch, seeing as I never go by Mr.... it's just not who I am). The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, that's the qualifier. It feels like an oasis in the middle of a major city. The hotel is going through a bit of construction/transition; however, you would never know it. The team has grace and an elegance to them that seems to be lost in the hospitality industry, at this level. I had coffee every morning on the roof top, as well as several meals at the bar. No matter how busy they were (which at times was very busy) the staff was cool and collective. The service was perfect. Adam, the General Manager, made it a point to introduce himself and ensure my stay was exceptional. It was. I travel for work often, to LA specifically, and this is my new home away from home. Cannot wait to come back... next time I'll bring my swim suite. That rooftop pool is special. Well Done Per La…
Found this rooftop pool and bar by chance and have been back a few times now. The pool is a great size and the food and drinks are stellar. Definitely recommend coming a few hours before sunset. Pool opens up to the public at 5pm. Chill spot!!!!! 🔥
100% top hôtel, top location, top service Everything was perfect, food, atmosphere, staff is friendly and professional Décoration is amazing and the rooftop pool and bar are and experience by themselves!
Our experience of staying one entire week at the Per LA was fantastic. It was a “soft opening“ until the official opening in a couple of weeks so the hotel was quiet and the wonderful staff had their full attention on the handful of guests that were in the building. All native Angelinos as far as we could tell, everyone had excellent recommendations and was ultra helpful and accommodating to our smallest need. We spent a lot of time at the pool area, which felt very cosy and quiet. Food was of Mediterranean influence and (being from around there) very good. The bar crew whipped out an excellent flavour of my favorite cocktail, and I tried that sucker everywhere I set foot while in DTLA. The hotel was ideally located, in the heart of downtown, close to the metro, close to basic shops as well as plenty of restaurants. I’d heard a bunch of things about downtown since my previous stay in Los Angeles 15 years ago, none of these turned out true and we really enjoyed the area. After having dinner at several competing hotels’ restaurants and locations, we kept going back to the Per La happy that we had decided to stay there. Overall: it was a 100% hit for us.…
What an unexpected surprise! My girlfriend Jen and I went to assist her daughter with a staging show in LA. There are a million places to choose from. I randomly picked PAR-LA based on the photos I saw online and the rate. SO glad we did, it is well appointed, the bed was super comfortable and we had a great view on the 10th floor. Pool and restaurant on top with cocktails. We will be back!!
I walked into the new hotel to inquire about rates and to see if this hotel would be a good fit for me and my fiancé to get ready prior to our wedding. They took me for a tour of the hotel and were extremely excited to host us before our wedding. They went way out of there way to show me the hotel and setup our stay to perfection. I’ve travelled around the world and stayed at many hotels but I’ve never experienced such an elegant, classy, attentive experience from the staff. They left gifts in our room and everyone went out of there way to make sure we were comfortable. I would not stay anywhere else in Los Angeles. I would rate this hotel 12/10. Must stay
We had our wedding reception in Downtown LA & this hotel was a few blocks away. After staying here on our special night, we learned that being geographically convenient for us was the least important perk of staying here! We loved this place for endless reasons! The staff was great! Chrissia visited us and catered to what we needed for our room! The rooms are gorgeous and the Presidential suite was very spacious! The pool area was so relaxing the morning after our wedding. The bellmen were attentive and valet service were on top of their job. Food was incredible! We made the best decision staying here!
Everything about this property is outstanding! The people, the service and the attention to detail. I recommend you stay there for business or pleasure. The rooms are beautiful and the rooftop restaurant is outstanding!
We had the most wonderful time - and the staff could not have been nicer in any way. Our waiter Aaron was the best - I went back just to find out his name, so I could post it here. Advise if you are not a hotel guest: come at or after five, when the pool side of the bar is open to the non-hotel guests.
The hotel is excellent for travelers who are traveling to Los Angeles and are staying for business and the staff was nice and the room were clean and the shower had great water pressure. Overall I am definitely going to be back here again.
