My family and I were in town for a graduation. We did brunch at the hotel which was great. Well my flight back was canceled for two days and so I booked w this hotel last minute as I had already checked out of mine. Had a small issue the staff contacted me immediately.
Downtown LA - been here several times for business before Covid, so the location is exactly what I was looking for. there is a great choice in the area, but this was my first time at The Figueroa after a recommendation - and it was a good one. It is always welcome when historic properties synthesize the traditional with the modern - and this hotel balanced that. Moreover, in the Covid environment, there are ample outdoor places to hold meetings, bring in food or just have a drink. Great spot, great design, great service.
Great location! My daughter and I had a relaxing stay here. This place has a nice atmosphere and ambiance, from the hotel itself, to the restaurants. We were also guided by Jahmarl, who’s super friendly and helpful.
Quiet room and a clean and friendly hotel all round, with a tasty breakfast and a busy, buzzy lounge where we hung out a lot. Our barman was especially attentive which was appreciated. Did not get to try the pool. Gym is apparently rather small.
Hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed at in DTLA. Everything is always great, from the service to the food. The finishes of the hotel are luxurious and tell the story of its rich history. It is worth a trip just to see the iconic coffin shaped pool. Can’t wait to return.
Wonderful time at Hotel Figueroa. Everything was awesome. The food was great the staff was very helpful. I can't complain. It was in a central location that was accessible to everything i needed. And the Room was cozy. Thank You
stayed here solo before w show. good food, good staff and service. i got billed for the internet? the restaurant staff was super cool and friendly. right price point for food and interesting ppl in downtown.
The hotel was nice the staff were awesome and very kind. I was expecting the room to be bigger though since it holds a queen size bed but the bed took up most of the room. It be nice if the gym was a bit bigger but the veranda on the 2nd floor was nice and peaceful. Breakfast at cafe fig was really good.
We booked a large room block here for our wedding and it was PERFECTION. The rooms were gorgeous, the common spaces are excellent for mingling/snacking/hanging. The pool was always bumping but never too crowded. We had the best time drinking cocktails at the pool with great service. Our families loved the space and loved feeling like they were getting a unique, beautiful, exciting LA experience. It's close to so many great downtown things. We got ready here for our wedding and the suites were perfect for that. Ample room to set up makeup/hair AND for our friends to hang out, gab, drink, eat, gossip, play games, sing, and dance. The team at the Hotel, especially Gregory, made the whole process straightforward, simple, and clear. The team during our stay there - especially Bryan - was amazing, constantly asking us what we needed, lending a hand, and doing so with humor and grace. Can't recommend this enough as a place to stay AND as a place to do a room block and get prepped for a wedding. 5 stars across the board!…
I had researched hotels in DTLA for a long time before settling on HF. The room was a great size, beautifully designed, warm and welcoming, and cleaned fantastically daily. My stay could have improved if the hotel made a bit more effort. Aside from the minimal interaction I had a check in, there was no effort to ask how my stay was during the week I was there. The pool closed far too early each day (8pm) and there was not much information in the hotel room about things to do. The restaurant/bar was brilliant - the service was thorough and they were kind. I did not feel rushed whilst I was there, for breakfast I tried new things, including an Açai bowl which was perfect. Overall, I was very impressed with the space. If there was more effort made in general, id return for sure.
