location is amazing. but be sure to bring earplugs, rooms are facing the hollywood boulevard and without aircon you want to leave the windows open... everything was rather rundown and old, but its a hostel so you get what you pay for. Staff was nice, but the atmosphere was a bit strange. beds were okay but not the cleanest. breakfast... More

The hostel is really good located on Hollywood boulevard and the front desk people are at your disposal for anything you need. These are the only positive aspects of this hostel. The hostel is quite dirty, the manager is rude and disrespectful with his customers, the breakfast consists in a few Kellogg's and frozen waffles, the rooms are ultra tiny... More

The best thing about it is the location, is near the Chinese and Dolby theaters. For the broadway fans there is the Pantages theater a couple of blocks away. It also has a mall and other stores very close. The walk of fame is there, so that is cool. There is a lot of weird people on the street, specially... More

That's all, a cheap bed in LA in Hollywood Blv. expect nothing more. There are not many showers, the hostel looks more less clean and rooms are small... Also most hosts are just there to go party, so expect people waking you up at 4am. The staff is friendly thou and ther's good Wifi. I will never go back to... More

A friend and I went to LA last year and didn't want to spend much on hotel so we found this small but very nice hotel. It's a sharing hotel, we were with 1 lady the first night and after with 2 other guys. The atmosphere is amazing with a nice terrace to chill all together. The kitchen is also... More

TRAVELLERS BEWARE. I never leave reviews on places i stay, but this cannot go unnoticed. Not only are ALL of the staff incredibly rude, the whole establishment is 'dodgy'. We booked to be in a room of 4, however upon arrival we were split up due to PERMANENT RESIDENTS living in the hostel ( which is ILLEGAL). My friends and... More

Finding a decently priced hostel in LA is not the easiest. So I found this and after comparing reviews, this one seemed to be my best bet. A friend also told me that this one wasn't among those that struggled with a recent bed bug problem. Good. Well, don't expect too much because there is a reason it is this... More

After initially having a problem and complaining about it in a way that was not exactly decent or considerate. The owner of the establishment gave me a free night i did not really deserve and in the end we ended up talking a lot, and he really enriched my travel experience. Staff were equally as fair, with their regulations and... More

Maybe because I had low expectations from the reviews on here it actually made me really appreciate this hostel. I stayed in room 21 which was clean with a great bathroom and shower. Lack of outlets was solved by an extension lead. Lockers were outside the room which is really not an issue. Great location, 5 minute walk from the... More

There is a reason this place is so cheap at a great location. I am a traveller trying to get by on a budget so hostels do not bother me but had to leave after only a couple of hours. Dirty, smelly, squeeky/broken bunk beds, bathroom was disgusting, anyone can walk into the hostel off the street. Weird people working... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
