I booked through American Express, which added a few extra perks - late check out and breakfast. I contacted the hotel prior to our arrival to let them know this was a birthday and anniversary stay. We could not have felt more welcomed at such a special and beautiful property when we arrived. There was a birthday cake and bottle of champagne waiting in the room - it’s so rare for hotels to show this type of generosity these days. The room was extremely clean, well appointed and tastefully decorated. The grounds of the hotel are fabulous and maintained impeccably. The staff are some of the best we’ve ever experienced - clearly a result of Ms. Flanders the General Manager of the property. Paige, who works in the hotels impromptu outdoor lounge area was also professional and made us feel as special as the occasion - Thank you! The hotel has taken many noticeable precautions during the pandemic and there is no corner cutting here. The hotel is spotless and each employee does their part to ensure the guests safely. The small sleeve/bag they hand out to each guest in the restaurant to place their face mask is both clever, tasteful and clearly shows their commitment to safety. The Wolfgang Puck restaurant is superb with amazing food and service in a peaceful setting. We dined in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast - each meal was outstanding. This is my new favorite and I cannot wait to come back. What a gem that is clearly guided by truly professional management and a staff that loves where they work. Thank you so much - what a stay!

The property is private, set in beautiful gardens, and seems a world away. Service was warm, courteous, discreet. Highlight was the room, with patio, fireplace and private sun area. Also, given that parts of the restaurant are open-air, it is a good option for COVID-era dining.

My husband and I decided to spend the Fourth of July at the Bel Air Hotel. We were anxious because of COVID but needed a getaway. Our fears were put to rest the moment we pulled in to this stunning resort. We've traveled all over the world, and this has got to be one of the best hotels we've ever been in. We opted for a Junior Pool Suite which was heavenly. It had its own private patio where we had most of our meals. The room service food was incredible. Every detail was just perfect. All the COVID security measures they have taken are above and beyond. Also is the type of place you don't want to leave. We stayed at the pool (which is gorgeous) one entire day just lounging. But worth the most impressive aspect was the staff - from valet to housekeeping - everyone in between are an incredible team. I don't recall being in a hotel where the cohesiveness of the service stands out so much. They go out of their way to remember you and their warmth and pride is genuine. Special shoutout to Raquel at the restaurant who made sure we were well taken care of. I called the front desk to request for a DVD player and within minutes it was delivered and plugged in. I could go on and on. Thank you for making our stay so memorable! We will definitely come back.

I could write a novel about how good the Hotel Bel Air is, the essence of which would be - there is no greater hotel in California than the Hotel Bel Air. Forgetting the stunning property, the charming gardens, the beautiful rooms, the relaxing atmosphere - what really makes the hotel stand out is the service. Every member of staff really is there to make the guests stay the best it can be and they truly seem to enjoy their jobs (is is a beautiful place to work). Compliments to the full team for their hard work and commitment even during this difficult pandemic, the Hotel Bel Air team has managed to keep their sparkle and magic alive. A personal thanks to Jonathan who served us at The Wolfgang Puck restaurant for breakfast and lunch. He’s a star the hotel should invest in!!! Our English Bulldog Coco is also leaving one happy puppy after being looked after like a princess!! We were so sad to leave we had to book another stay in September - see you soon!!

The Hotel Bel-Air is the most beautiful hotel in Los Angeles. It is located on a little street in Bel Air. All of the rooms are a little different. You can get a basic room which is stunning or a suite. There are secluded areas if you want peace and quiet. There is a guard gate so people who do not belong there do not get in. All parking is valet. Now, this hotel is very expensive, so we don't go there a lot, but it is worth it. The service is perfect. They have a restaurant that is first class and the best bar in town. You will love this place for a romantic get away or for an event. My daughter was married there and it was perfect. Have the most wonderful time.
