Was emailed they had lockers which I was going to use for early check-in and it ended being a store room were staff had to called. Prefer to have a locker. Check-in was easy. Area is unsafe and people are using the sidewalks as a bathroom.

Nice place to stay for a week. Bathroom and shower were shared, but clean. Room was quite big for two people and bed was comfortable. Breakfast is poor. However, there are near many restaurants or markets. Los Angeles doesn't have place what I can call center. On the other hand, hotel is close to subway and there are many locat buses....

Room 619 was gross very dark, windows to grimy to see out of. Crusty old carpet , plug sockets unaccessible and you need to have floor fans on all the time as no AC. The room was cramped suitcases take up all floor space.Had booked private bathroom , huge dust filled shaft in bathroom. The photos very deceptive unless some...

I stayed there twice. At the end of the second stay. A security guard demanded proof that I was a paying guest. Once I presented the proof he said"Guys like you"...I am black and 60 plus, hang around here(homeless). Management insists nothing happened.

Hotel ok was nice to have my room cleaned each day and beds were comfy. EXTREMELY ANNOYED I went to reception to book a ticket to universal studios as they were cheaper than buying at the park itself. Person at the desk tried to input my card details but he said it didn't work and I would need to try...

We were seduced by the photos on TripAdvisor and the included breakfast, but unfortunately our stay was very disappointing. Be aware that this area is a bit dodgy... There are loads of homeless people around all day long. We didn't enjoy the city as much as we wanted because we didn't feel safe walking around after night fall. It looks...

I don't mind Stay on Main. That isn't exactly a glowing recommendation. But don't stay here expecting a great area of town, modern comforts, or large bathrooms. The lobby is absolutely beautiful -- the nicest part of the hotel. We have stayed here twice in two years, and while the rooms are small, they have been clean and serviceable. Quite...

The registration counter setting is nice with beautiful design. Come with continental breakfast. Even though the shower and toilet is outside, they provided a sink for washing. The service is good from the reception. Just the Internet is slow. Near the subway. Oh! You see homeless people nearby the hotel.

From the moment we entered the hotel we saw a guard stationing there, we knew the hotel located in a pretty dangerous area. Drunk men around the hotel. Apart from locating at the city centre, its location is not at all an advantage. The staff was nice but worked very slowly. Waited for 30 mins just to check in (only...

Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
