I thought the Plaza la Reina in Westwood, next to UCLA, is an excellent hotel in the center of a lovely part of Los Angeles. Wonderfully appointed and large size rooms with kitchens. Parking located on property with easy and secure access to rooms. Staff was great and professional. Great places to eat nearby and next to the awesome Hammer museum.

We were visiting our son in Westwood and the apartment at Plaza La Reina was ideally situated. The reception staff were very attentive. Our studio apartment was very spacious with plenty of storage space. We found the apartment to be very quiet despite having a balcony overlooking Lindbrook Drive and another balcony overlooking the internal courtyard. The bed was very comfortable. The shower required a bit of patience to get the water temperature correct, however there was plenty of hot water with good water pressure. The kitchen was equipped for three people. We would have preferred another place setting as our son and his wife joined us for a meal on two occasions. The dishwasher stopped working but was quickly fixed once we reported it. The washing machine and dryer were very welcome. We will definitely choose Plaza La Reina when returning to LA.

Plaza la Reina is a home away from home. We felt comfortable with the room and were glad it came with a washer, dryer, coffee maker, refrigerator and stovetop. Very useful. The hotel itself is so beautiful and peaceful. We found ourselves sitting in the courtyard near the fountain, and reading and exercising upstairs on the rooftop. Such a beautiful view from there! Very inspiring. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. We also liked that the hotel is walking distance to so many bakeries, restaurants, stores, grocery stores, the museum, westwood village memorial park and, in the future, to the metro that is being built.

Beds are wonderful. Pillows are wonderful. Shower is wonderful. It’s quiet and cozy. Love the dark wood floors. Associates are so nice. You can walk to shops and restaurants. It’s close enough to walk to hospital.

The accommodations were lovely and the location perfectly situated for accessing all the cities on the west side. While the property has no restaurant of its own, there are terrific options in all price ranges within a five minute walk in most any direction. Loved our stay there and will make it our go-to on future visits to LA.

Very negative experience. We booked room for 2 adults and three children. When we arrived we discovered that there were only three beds. Besides the concierge there was no other staff present. They didn’t offer alternatives so we had to squeeze our selves the first night. Day after the cleaning of the room was not done, there were no towels. They added a bed but we were still one short. When we asked to speak to the manager, he/she was off for the whole duration of our stay (3 days). We expect partial reimbursement, unacceptable. Only positive comment, Troy, concierge who was there on the second day, was super polite and helpful.

I've been staying here for regular work trips to collaborate with folks at UCLA. I feel like it's a hidden gem. It's small and cozy, the rooms have a kitchenette that makes it feel home-y and empowers me to maintain healthy habits while travelling. The rooftop patio has a little outdoor workout space that I enjoy in the morning, and is a lovely space to chill out at the end of a day. Thanks!

Great location, really pleasant and clean room, and super friendly and helpful staff. We travelled with a 2 year year old and we wanted to have a room with small kitchen. The room was exactly what we are looking for. It has a mini kitchen and laundry/drier inside the room. The room was very quiet but close to many things. The other great bonus is the area, which is a very walkable and central neighborhood in Los Angeles. We walked to Hammer Museum, UCLA campus, Westwood Village and Persian Square (with stroller). It is 15 minutes drive to West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Santa Monica. We truly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this hotel.
