Christian the manager on duty made sure to check the area of free goodies, including keeping the popcorn area clean and offering my girlfriend and I some complimentary waters... He shows us in the lobby where we can get waters each time we feel thirsty... We had breakfast each morning and Jairo was our server each time... His service was consistent every day (four days we stayed) and he smiled and greeted us each morning - I can tell he really enjoys serving people... Anything we needed - he was quick to bring us our requested item... While we had breakfast, our house cleaner Grisleda cleaned our room each time consistently without fail... When I got there and asked why, I was told that because I’m only a blue level member, I had to first verify my identity before they could grant me digital key access... I called and asked for a new room but was told they were sold out... Then I asked what time the hot tub is open until, no hot tub...     Staff Beyond amazing, walk to convention center!... Valet knowledgeable of area beyond nice!... Front desk beyond NICE!... Everyone and everything at this hotel was amazing!... Close to terrace theatre, we were dressed up so took Uber rather than driving or walking quick easy!... We arrived very early and our room was not ready yet it was 10am, no surprise haha... He said he would try to get us one as soon as possible... He took our bags so they wouldn’t be in our car while we went out!... The morning valet can’t remember his name gave us a Ramen recommendation that was out of this world... All the valet.. Frank Alex victor portofino Rafael were Fabulous!... Everyone at the front desk.. Joshua Alex Lloyd were terrific!... I think your valets are your guests first contact the more they know about the area the nicer they are the more welcome your guests feel and safer the guests feel... I also think the nicer and friendlier your front desk are and the more information they can give your guests about the hotel the better the stay will be for your guests!... I stay in 1-2 hotels a week all year long and this hotel by far surpasses the customer service of most hotels!... From the Waldorf to to Ritz this staff is by far the best!...

    Very clean hotel, we stayed there for my daughter’s gymnastics competition and the hotel was so prepared to welcome their guests. Impressed with the arrival experience of flavored water, ice tea , hot chocolate and pop corn that were available for guests on a daily Basis and it’s complimentary... Jimmy at the bar was so nice, we ordered food from the bar and it was delicious... The hotel provided complimentary shuttle to the convention center, the driver was nice and friendly ( drove us back from the convention center Friday 2/3 night at 1030pm) the resturant has good selection of food for breakfast and the female server was very helpful and very accommodating ( sorry I don’t remember her name it was Friday morning 2/3) every team member we encountered in the lobby were super nice and welcoming even the security person at night... Nice door staff, the check in and check out staff at the front desk were excellent!!... We booked 2 rooms and both were in excellent shape and well maintained/ cleaned... we kipsu the hotel before arrival for early check in and Joseph was great help...

    Disappointed during my registration Alex was good but Robert was not accommodating. He refused to give upgrade and I was given a thumbs down not even looking at my face during my conversation... I traveled throughout Southern California and central California but didn’t have any problem with front desk ... This is really close to The Pike outlets so you can always find something familiar to eat and do there... There were plenty of family friendly restaurants within a short drive ( 5-7 min)... This hotel actually shares a courtyard with an office complex and we found a nice little cafe for a quick simple breakfast there (Bites)... The hotel pool is on the second floor and that was also remodeled... The whole pool area is very welcoming... The pools is only a few feet deep which is great for kids... There’s also a nice little spread with infused water and cookies, snacks for guests waiting to check in... There were 4 of us in the room but we kept getting only three towels which appears to be a universal problem across hotels...

    To quote another reviewer: “The hotel management team and staff need to work on the quality of hotel services (reception)…kitchen menu [to] include room service and answering hotel guest’s calls from the room instead of automations.” I wholeheartedly agree... Then to add injury on top of insult, I was not given the room I specifically requested (in the app) so that I could see the water... Then I asked what time the hot tub is open until, no hot tub... No shuttle service, no free breakfast, no hot tub, no working tv and a manager who basically said “here’s your key” and turned his back... He didn’t even give me the wifi password or offer bottled water (I had to ask another staff member for both)... To sum it up, I could have saved myself $100 bucks and stayed at the Best Western or even a Super 8...

    Staff Beyond amazing, walk to convention center! In house coffee shop, restaurant, rooms fabulous!... Valet knowledgeable of area beyond nice!... Front desk beyond NICE!... Everyone and everything at this hotel was amazing!... The Location is Beyond fabulous walking distance to convention center!... Close to terrace theatre, we were dressed up so took Uber rather than driving or walking quick easy!... This hotel is on the right side of the bridge for all Long Beach activities and restaurants!... Staff, location, restaurant, pool, everything!... The morning valet can’t remember his name gave us a Ramen recommendation that was out of this world... All the valet.. Frank Alex victor portofino Rafael were Fabulous!... I also think the nicer and friendlier your front desk are and the more information they can give your guests about the hotel the better the stay will be for your guests!...

    Very clean hotel, we stayed there for my daughter’s gymnastics competition and the hotel was so prepared to welcome their guests. Impressed with the arrival experience of flavored water, ice tea , hot chocolate and pop corn that were available for guests on a daily Basis and it’s complimentary... They had a fountain with tons of rubber ducks and some kids were happy to take some or just play with it, awesome idea and so much fun to see the colorful floating duckies... Jimmy at the bar was so nice, we ordered food from the bar and it was delicious... The hotel provided complimentary shuttle to the convention center, the driver was nice and friendly ( drove us back from the convention center Friday 2/3 night at 1030pm) the resturant has good selection of food for breakfast and the female server was very helpful and very accommodating ( sorry I don’t remember her name it was Friday morning 2/3) every team member we encountered in the lobby were super nice and welcoming even the security person at night... Nice door staff, the check in and check out staff at the front desk were excellent!!... We booked 2 rooms and both were in excellent shape and well maintained/ cleaned...

    I would have rated this hotel five out of five but the pool area was closed for most of the day for a private wedding... This hotel provided ice water, ice water with lemon, iced tea and bottled water for free... They even provided free popcorn... This hotel has a bar onsite that serves food as well, and both were very good... We didn't visit the cafe across from the breakfast restaurant... The breakfast restaurant was amazing, you choose from the menu or the buffet... They had a coffee station that served Starbucks coffee but they didn't accept the Starbucks App or Starbucks card... Our room was big, clean and the bed was comfortable... We stayed here two nights before our cruise and one night after our cruise... The staff here was friendly and helpful and provided great front desk customer service...

My stay at the Hilton Long Beach last week was one of the most disappointing stays I've had at a Hilton Hotel. I was attending a conference at this property. My check-in process was relatively seamless. However, once I arrived to my room, the room had a very strong odor of smoke/smoking. So, I returned to the Front Desk to ask about switching to another room. They said their key card system had just gone done and it would take a few minutes until it was back-up and running. So, I waited in the Lobby area for what seemed like 20-25 minutes. I returned to the Front Desk and they said it was still down. I asked if perhaps someone from Engineering could let me in to a new room and then I could return once the key machine was working properly. They agreed and I was escorted to my new room with a gentleman. However, my profile/reservation requests a room 'Not near an elevator'. As you can guess, the room I was given was directly across from the elevator. So, I returned to the Front Desk. After 5-10 minutes more, I was told the key machine was now working and was given a new key to a new room. I got to the 3rd room and to my surprise the entire room was incredibly hot. Turns-out that the A/C unit had the air on full-blast at the highest heat temp. Exhausted with the thought of going back downstairs to the Lobby, I decided to merely adjust the temperature. However, after 5 minutes of literal sweat/trying, I could not get the temperature to lower even after adjusting the temp to the lowest setting. I then called the FD to ask if they could send an engineer to come up as perhaps I wasn't doing something right. After about 5 minutes, a female engineer arrived (super helpful). She tried for a few minutes to adjust the thermostat before unscrewing the panel. After maybe 10 minutes, she said she couldn't get the temperature to come down and asked if I wanted to request another room. After another approximately 10 minutes, she finally fixed the issue. Given this experience, I only stayed 1 night and check-out early. Of course, I was charged a $125 early departure fee. Never was I called by the staff to apologize for all the issues experienced. I was sent a text message the next day to see how my stay was and I told them in one sentence that it was not pleasant. No follow-up whatsoever except to let them know if I wanted to check-out, which I obliged. I would advise folks to avoid this hotel. Buttons on the elevator didn't even work (15th flr), feels like there hasn't been an update/upgrade to the hotel in years. Awful from every vantage point I can think of.

We stayed in Long Beach for a few days following a cruise and found this gem. The location is great. I found the area to be really safe and all the Long Beachy things (Queen Mary, Aquarium, beach) are close by. This is really close to The Pike outlets so you can always find something familiar to eat and do there. There were plenty of family friendly restaurants within a short drive ( 5-7 min). The hotel was quiet, but not snooty. I think this must have been recently remodeled. The rooms were very comfortable and had a fridge. I found a communal microwave by the ice machine which is always a great bonus, especially when traveling with kids. We ate in the hotel restaurant for dinner our first night and Jose was super. Excellent service and so personable. The food was really good too. This hotel actually shares a courtyard with an office complex and we found a nice little cafe for a quick simple breakfast there (Bites). The downsides: checking in was delayed, but the hotel made up for that. There’s also a nice little spread with infused water and cookies, snacks for guests waiting to check in. There were 4 of us in the room but we kept getting only three towels which appears to be a universal problem across hotels. Parking is interesting. They have only a small section of the garage for hotel guests and an overflow surface lot. We always found a spot in the garage, but they were hosting a conference with some large vehicles and things were tight, especially if you’re in a larger vehicle. Overall, I’m still giving it a 5 and would not hesitate to stay here again.

You will probably need therapy, after I share the whole story of a single one night stay at the LB Hilton. We had reserved 4 rooms, 7-8 months ahead of time. Arranged payment for all the rooms, even provided names and all info of guest arriving. Let’s just say, they had no “ record” of my constant communication. So when guest arrived at different times, it was a cluster of “ who are you, and what ??? Took a lot of planning and continuous calling, because they NEVER answer phones. We primarily stayed there as we headed on a cruise for my sons 21st birthday. They provide the park and stay ( that was fine) shuttled us to cruise. Rooms were filthy, couldn’t even see out of windows, everyone working was clueless, rude and could care a less about anything… So much more to share but gives me a headache. And the end of our cruise, we called the hotel to arrange the shuttle for pick up ( because that’s what they advertise, provide and confirmed with me) well our party of 16 waited over 1.5 hours, while they kept saying they are “on the way” and remember they don’t answer the phone and believe me there was a group of us calling. Finally I got someone to admit, well we don’t have a driver, and our shuttle has been broken since yesterday( so which one is it??? ) 4 taxis later and $100.00 was not a great way to end our stay. The best part, I have tried you Rob Adam’s , Mr. Hotel Manager to chat with you NUMEROUS times, and shocker you don’t call me back! I read the reviews, previous to our stay and thought wow people are really upset with your Hotel… My fault, because I took a “chance” , we spent a-lot of money at your property and truly was such a frustrating experience of a Hilton property…

Confirmed rooms even with deposits are not confirmed. Worse front desk staff not welcoming. Very poor customer service and support. You need to be upset before they do something about things. This hotel staff offers options to cancel at midnight if you are not happy with the incorrect room they give you!

I’m attending a conference and had 4 hotels to choose from. This was the furthest away from the venue. I chose this hotel because I have been a loyal Hilton member. Those days are gone. I’m not even checked into the hotel but really wish there were hotels elsewhere not booked to check into. Where do I start? Check in is at 4 pm. I don’t expect that I can check in at 1230 but don’t be a liar about it. I was told 4 pm and that there are people ahead of me for a room. Fine. That’s why I’ve counted 20 plus people rolling in with their luggage and getting rooms. That makes no sense. So I find an area in the lobby to plug in and due work. At 120 pm, I call to see if there is any room update. I don’t mind working in the lobby and was considering going to the restaurant but am being attacked by what appear to be mosquitos so not really wanting to stay down here anymore. I kindly ask the lady about the room she says hold and she’ll check on it. After 21 minutes, I hung up. How many people were checking in at this time because it was busy right? Well, four workers at front desk. None were checking anyone else in. Now I just watched 8 more people come in and get their room keys. Was there an option to pay for early checkin because I didn’t get that? So it’s very inconsistent. Hilton loyalty programs these days are a joke anyway which I’ve come to expect, but I don’t expect to be sitting in a hotel in Long Beach that has mosquitos in the lobby and rude staff.

Honestly horrible! Check in time came….. and WENT, and we just kept waiting, one lame excuse and delay after another…. the lobby bartender was an absolute creep and the staff was absolutely awful, uncaring and unsympathetic, and just could care less! We called about a loud party going on in the adjacent room, only to be brushed off and told they were leaving the next day. The rooms are matchbox small and we would have been better off buying a blanket and joining the homeless out on the street rather than enduring this place, not kidding. We stayed for three nights, but got the impression most guests are here for one-nightets with app the flight crews coming and going.

A bit pricy but a top notch hotel. Bright hallway and rooms. Front desk, valet and breakfast staff all incredibly polite and service oriented. Continental breakfast is $18 but covered by the F&B credit for eligible Hilton Honors members and had an excellent selection of fresh fruit sand pastries.

The worst experience ever! I’m a Hilton honors member and visited all hiltons in the world. but what the staff did yesterday was horrible, starting from Gessy at the front desk who was rude and doesn’t understand the meaning of hospitality, to the Vallet guy who doesn’t know anything about his job and finally the manager who is unaware of handling angry guests!! This hotel feels like a Hampton Inn playing dress-up as a full-service Hilton. The only sad part is that we've had better experiences at many Hampton Inns! The rooms are average at best, but honestly deserve a 2/5. The beds are hard and bedding is scratchy and thin. Don't get me started on the dirty, 90s themed carpet! The bathroom was in desperate need of updating and repairs and the room itself felt very small. We had 3 towels for 4 people and in-room coffee for 2. If we book a room for 4, there should be amenities for 4 people. This is a common issue at many hotels, though. The elevators (those that worked) were very, very slow and herky-jerky. Don't try to hold the doors for a fellow guest - you may lose a finger! Outside of the rooms, the pool was too shallow for swimming, and pool towels were no bigger than hand-towels. The pool area was often dirty and furniture was very tired. Want a grab and go breakfast? Nope, if you want breakfast, expect to wait a long time for an OK breakfast that costs way more than it should. If you have a coffee bar in the lobby, you should also have a pastry or yogurt available as well for those of us in a hurry in the morning. Need to charge your EV? Nope, not here either. Want a late checkout? Or any other Diamond benefits like an upgrade, water, anything? Once again, nope. Not at this " Hilton". To be fair, I did have one positive interaction with the front desk who was able to assist with a small issue with the shuttle service. But, one positive out of the stay doesn't make me want to stay here again. If you want a lackluster stay at an understaffed, outdated and overwhelmed hotel, come here.
