Robert at your front desk made my birthday weekend a living hell. Robert didn’t give me his name when I called down when we checked because the tv wasn’t working he sent maintenance the guy tried to fix I called back down he answered still didn’t provide my name was very confrontational and argumentative with me that the tv works they don’t have any other rooms we have to deal with it. I asked for his name he said I already gave it to you I’m not going to repeat myself. He started arguing with me telling me I was lying about what I am saying that the tv works now. I asked for his supervisor he stated he is the top there and there isn’t anyone else that can help me. I have never felt so harassed or unwelcome in my life

Hotel's Favorite
Even during this challenging times, Hilton Long Beach consistently delivers excellent service. The staff led by the General Manager did their very best in spite of the restrictions and limitation of what was possibly available for their guests. Room. I reserved a Junior Suite but as I Diamond member, I got upgraded to a corner suite with huge balcony with patio seating and unbeatable harbor views. The suite was well appointed with a comfortable sofa and 2 matching chairs, work desk, multiple USB power plugs, and good size TV. The closet was almost a 'walk in ' minus a door. The bathroom was elegant with shower enclosed in full length glass sliding doors. Service. Due to COVID-19 restrictions only minimal service was provided and a skeleton crew maintained operations. Despite of this, the staff provided housekeeping upon request only. The restaurants were closed but the staff graciously opened the pantry for complimentary beverages and snacks. Parking. The garage was closed but guests were allowed to park in front of the hotel. No parking fees charged. I would like to end with a HUGE 'Thank You' to the staff for providing excellent service to business travelers still out there during this tough times.

The check-in process was amazingly easy, and the person running the front desk once they realized I couldn’t carry the water they were offering she sent it up like room service. The room itself was expansive. While the room was only on the 4th floor, it still provided some decent views of the city and the cable-stay bridge. The room had a walking closet. the bathroom was very spacious and it had a half wall dividing the toilet from the rest of the bathroom. The balcony was a bit small. The bed was wonderfully comfy and the A/C made a world of difference (especially after a 4-mile run) A few minutes after I got to the room I got a text from Monica (from the front desk), asking if I had any questions or if I needed anything. she answered my question about when the dinning by the outside pool would be. The dinning by the pool was good, Jimmy was very helpful in suggesting a place I could get some workout items. I had the burger, from the menu and there were plenty of fries (which made me happy). Also, the person running the bar was very friendly and extremely attentive, the gin and sprite was on point The hotel had a grab and go cafe set-up for breakfast, and the person running it was very friendly. The breakfast was standard and well equipped. One of the servers remembered that I liked green tea and had it ready once I had ordered and had a lid so I could finish the drink in my room. The hotel was close to some of the major buildings, but it was kinda far from the beach itself and the Pikes area. I would recommend this hotel but do keep in mind you will need some good shoes.

The title basically says it all. I wanted a relaxing staycation to start the beginning of a new year. Hotel had an underground parking garage, and bar off of the lobby. I had the hotel breakfast buffet which had a great variety of food. I was surprised and excited that the breakfast buffet menu changed from one day to the next. A little variety goes a long way for multiple night stays ie Business Travel. Service was great throughout the hotel particularly John the Front Office Manager and the reception desk. Everyone was courteous, helpful and friendly. The floor I stayed on required a key to access so I felt very safe as a solo female staying at the hotel. I liked that the restaurant was on a separate level than the bar, so you could choose which crowd you wanted to be a part of. I also went out in the evening a couple blocks over to the downtown area for dinner. It was a quick Uber ride over or you could walk if you felt like getting some fresh air.

Robert in night shift did not make us feel welcomed to your property! He was rude and did not welcome us. The room was messy and unsanitary. Robert is below Hilton market standard. I will never be returning to this property.
