We stayed for 4 nights at the end of a touring holiday with the intention of just relaxing on a seaside resort. We were able to do this due to the location of the hotel, the pool area, nearby restaurants and walks around the marina area. Our room was fine, clean and with a fabulous view of the beach from the 16th floor. We loved to watch the swan boats lit up on the lake at night. My comments for improvement would be: to have more drawer space, be mindful when they have 3 occupants in a room to ensure that the room is given 3 of everything, to fix the noisy blind pulls which you can hear from room to room, have a security guard to police the homeless who sleep around the lake by the hotel, improve the first impression given by the front of house team who great you when you arrive by car - need to look and greet more professionally for this level of hotel. .…
Great Stay!!!!! The view was amazing and it was close to all the downtown areas. I was shocked there was a CVS vending machine and I have never seen that in a hotel. I loved that option and I purchased something..lol
The only thing that was disappointing was the restaurant was closed and that was very inconvenient while we were their. Otherwise I recommend the Hyatt Regency for all your travel needs. I look forward to next years Expo and hopefully the restaurant will be in full swing.
I attended an event at the convention center. The proximity and convenience of the hotel and its amenities makes it a perfect choice for attendees. Also the location is perfect to find great places to eat, shop, or socialize. Well done Hyatt.
The HRLB is about average for a hotel. The lobby looks nice but once you leave the lobby that's where the upscale really diminished. For the price I expected much more than was provided. The parking is overly expensive along with the food and beverage in the dining area. The food was okay but again, not worth the price of it.
The staff at this location were absolutely delightful. Not only did they help us in any way we needed, they never made it seem like any sort of imposition. The building, however, left something to be desired. The doors and walls were excessively thin. I could easily hear people in the hallway talking even at a respectfully quiet volume, almost as though they were in the room with me. The same goes for our neighbors on either side - I could even hear when they opened or closed the blinds on the windows! I have no doubt the lovely front desk staff would have moved us had we requested it, but since the hotel was full there was not a chance of us staying in a room with no neighbors at all. The air conditioner was a bit old and noisy, and there was odd staining on the lampshade and one of the bath towels, but these issues are small potatoes compared to the complete lack of soundproofing. The bathrooms appeared to have been remodeled somewhat recently, so that was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and clean, and although the windows had some scratches, they also appeared clean. We saw housekeeping staff every time we were in the halls, and they were very polite and seemed to be working hard to maintain cleanliness. The location was convenient to visit the Aquarium of the Pacific, the beach, and Shoreline Village. We chose the partial beach view, which was nice enough and had a view of Rainbow Lagoon Park and the whale mural, but the harbor view was definitely more scenic.…
This hotel was in a perfect location for all the things we were doing. It was walking distance to the harbor and shopping and food. We didn't even need a car because once we were there then it was easy to find things to do. The hotel was clean and the pool and hot tub were a nice feature. The rooms were spacious and the TV was huge!
Terrible expereince, coulnd't give us our room we reserved and kept sending us to different rooms that did not meet what we needed to accommodate our family. Then they offered comps for the inconvenience that they never delivered on. Just a bunch of liars.
I was not expecting the Labor Day weekend to be a special one at the Hyatt. The pool area in particular made my stay enjoyable! The room was very clean and I had a great view. The only issues I had were receiving an email to check in early and provide a time I would arrive but my room was not ready for another hour and I had to ask about my room after the hour wait. Two of the staff members who worked at the on-site restaurant were rude to one another which spilled over to the guests. And the other issue was there were never any towels at the pool. A Holiday weekend should have been anticipated.
Stay was pleasant. Lower rating due to service at the breakfast bar. Less then helpful. Hard to get help to get order in. We paid for food in advance and didn’t realize we could not use the money the day of our check out. Wouldn’t use that feature again. Especially with how hard it was to get someone to take our order.
