The worst hotel I've ever been to. The service is terrible. They can't subdue the Internet I need for work in a day. The room has no shower gel, no water. There is one negative from the staff. Food prices are inflated. I don't recommend it to visit.

On a 3-week drive down the west coast this was the only hotel with enough people (due to COVID) to have someone offer to take our bags up to our room. Kudos to getting us back to "normal!" We stayed at TWLB because of their pet-friendly policy (which, of course, you do pay extra for). The location is very convenient for those looking to get to the convention center or other downtown locations (we were actually visiting friends in Newport Beach so its location to the freeway was also good). The neighborhood is relatively good (there is a homeless camp near the Starbucks at a neighboring hotel) but I did have trouble locating out-of-hotel restaurants (which wasn't an issue for us since we were eating in Newport). Staff were incredibly friendly, always offering or asking if we needed assistance. Parking was convenient, even for the tank of a rental car that we had, and not too much of an add-on fee (between the pet, parking, and taxes it was around $300/night for the stay). The pool area was amazing and very clean. Overall, I'd recommend this property, particularly for business travelers or, for people like ourselves visiting friends, to stay a few nights in a convenient location.

This is a beautiful hotel but the amenities are trash. As fancy as this hotel is, it offers nothing to its guests. I am 6 months pregnant and I just assumed for what we are paying per night there would be a microwave but there is only the smallest mini fridge I've ever seen. I am assisting my husband at a convention for 3 days and the hotel charges $30-32 a day for parking. The toilet sounds like a rocket is shooting off into space with every flush but at least we know it works REALLY well. Wifi is only complimentary in public areas but costs $11 a day and there are only a handful of channels to watch on TV. Everything costs something here and for what this hotel charges, you'd think the amenities would be better.
