I stayed for 5 nights over the Long Beach Grand Prix weekend and could not have been happier with the hotel. It's a great location, just off the main streets in Long Beach and feels very safe. The outside of the hotel is really cool,...More
Lovely hotel in a great place, really handy for great food & drink and the metro. Very clean & friendly and special mention to Sarah who really went out of her way to provide really great levels of help to us. Would definitely stay again.
My husband and I stay at this hotel every time we visit Long Beach. We like knowing that you can count on it to be clean, well maintained, and comfortable with a great staff. The owners Larry and Charles are the best and they make...More

The Varden has a lot right next to it for parking with no extra charge so all is good on that point. Ask for a darker room if they have one, but we've never had a problem with noise or too much light and we stay on New Year's Eve. It's a boutique hotel concentrating on Service which is GREAT. Very compact rooms with high-end bedding and toiletries. It does have a tv, free wifi and wine in the early evening and coffee and continental breakfast in the morning. Lovely personal owners and staff. Have a great stay in Long Beach!
