Traveling in a group of eight, we had five rooms- for two nights---the Hopalong Cassidy, Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, Gene Autry, and Cary Crant. Each has framed photos showing scenes from its namesake's films. Rooms had microwaves/mini fridges and were spacious/very clean. Most importantly, beds were comfortable with quality bedding. Breakfast was very good both mornings featuring hot entrees. Customer...

This is the quality you would expect from a Best Western Plus motel. Nice clean room. Everything worked fine. Room fan/air conditioner worked well. Great breakfast with a great view (on a clear day) across the highway to the huge jagged Sierra Nevada Mountains. The staff was very nice. A couple of nice fast PCs for us fossils to use....

Our second stay at this awesome property in Lone Pine and it was just as good, if not better, as our stay twelve months ago! We booked three rooms; two king rooms and one with two queen beds. Our family group included our daughter and son-in-law with two very young children… a two year old and a 9 month old....

First, Margarita helped us get the Randolph Scott room in memory of my father. Then, our room at the Best Western Plus Frontier Motel in Lone Pine, California, was spacious, loaded with extras like a large flat screen TV with cable , refrigerator, microwave, and two sinks, one for brushing and makeup, one in the separate toilet/tub room. There was...

I visit the Lone Pine area multiple times each year and when I do I prefer the Frontier. The ownership and management truly care about the upkeep of the property as well as the service. I have been staying here since 1988 and it consistently meets my expectations. Front desk staff, especially Margarita and Lupita, do every thing they can...

I needed a place to stay that was pet friendly. Not only were they but did not require a deposit. The room was lovely. It was very large and decorated well, and very, very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable with quality sheets and pillows that looked new. The breakfast was outstanding and the icing on the cake. I think...

As usual the Lone Pine Best Western did not let us down. Clean rooms, great location and pleasant staff! Fantastic view of Mt Whitney and surrounding landscapes. On the southern outskirt of town, just a short jaunt to the restaurants and th+e Lone Pine Film museum. Always a pleasure to come here.

This is an older motel that, very wisely, has updated their rooms (nice new carpet, furniture, paint, TV). Their beds are super comfortable, with nice linens. They're very clean and odor free. In addition, the overall motel is very clean and shows a pride of ownership. You do need to know, however, that with most older hotels, walls are thin...

In January of 2015 I stayed Thursday and Friday nights at the Lone Pine Best Western Plus. From just outside my room or anywhere in the parking lot one has a beautiful view of Mount Whitney and the Sierra Nevada range. The motel was clean and my room was spotless. The lobby area was nice and the breakfast area just...

We've been coming to this hotel for years, and appreciated recent improvements there. The breakfast area is much larger and brighter, with more breakfast options too. Rooms have always been large and comfortable, and ours had a new sink and jazzy rotating shower head this time. A good stopping place, now even better!
