Stayed here with some friends on a road trip to Death Valley. We had been up for well over 24 hours and after trying to kill time eating breakfast and walking around Lone Pine we desperately wanted to sleep. We weren't sure the staff would let us check in at 10:30 AM (that's a REALLY early check in) however the...

You will not find better quality or friendlier staff in Lone Pine or the world then at the Best Western! Visit the Eastern Sierras and stay in the comfort of clean and quite rooms with your family and pet. We stay with Best Western when ever in Lone Pine and the shadow of Mt. Whitney. Do your self a favor...

Choose this motel as a starting point to visit Death Valley. The rooms proved to be clean & spacious. Liked the surrounding of the motel with a good view on Mount Whitney. The breakfast itself was 'good enough' and I enjoyed looking at the movie posters/memorabilia which were in the breakfast-area (Lone Pine's western movie history). Overall, I would rate...

After our visit to the Death Valley area this was the right stop for us. It is a bit old and in need of some work but the room was clean and the shower was perfect. It is not as good as our previous BW experinece at the other side of the Death Valley area. Breakfast was OK, not bad...

The hotel itself was very nice. Welcoming staff at the front desk. Clean, comfortable, modern room. Complimentary continental (plus) breakfast. But the thing that made this hotel/stay stand out in my mind was the "customer recommendations". There were cards in the room that could be filled out with recommendations of places to eat and things to see and do. These...

Our stop for a couple of nights in early September 2015 was our 4th or 5th stay here in the past few years. Needless to say if it weren't a super place we wouldn't come back. My wife put it perfectly -- "they do everything just right". Lone Pine itself is a great town which we always stay in and...

I did not expect too much when I booked it. Lone Pine is a remote area where people pass to go somewhere else. I still did not expect too much when I drove into the parking lot. The motel looked pretty cheap. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into my room. The room was large and clean. The...

Super clean room, comfortable bed and nice choice of firm and soft pillows. Appears to have been recently updated so furnishings were very nice in the spacious room. Bathroom was REALLY clean (and I am fussy). Breakfast was the standard stuff but well attended to by a very pleasant employee. Only negative was a dirty pool: lots of bugs and...

Stayed here as an overnight stop on our way from Yosemite to Las Vegas. Nice comfortable room which was plenty big enough for four of us. Lovely big beds. Nice breakfast in the morning, although the breakfast room is not huge we managed to get a table. Found a dead scorpion in our room the next morning, but we were...

We only stayed here 1 night but found it really quaint & cosy. Really well presented, traditionally furnished and decorated with a western film theme. Large comfortable bed and lovely spacious bathroom and vanity space. The room was very clean and facilities excellent. Lovely little pool in the centre of the motel complex. The lobby and dining area were again...
