This is the sort of place where you don't feel entirely comfortable getting in the sheets. The facilities are old, tired, badly maintained - and for $115 / night there is no breakfast of any kind. Any place would be better.
We stayed one night as we were on a driving holiday. Lone Pine is a useful stop along the way - a one street town with plenty of motels available. Our room was clean and functional. Does what it says on the tin.
The motel was dirty. The pool wasn't closed for the season but was green with algae. The first room we had had a water leak in the bathroom which the front desk apparently knew about and assumed housekeeping had cleaned up. The comforters had stains....More
