First off, this isn't a hotel, it's a campground with a few cabins to rent. This review is in regards to our camping experience only. Over the 16 years we've been going to the Tower Park Resort/Marina, we've had a lot of experiences from great to not so good. Most of the not so good experiences had nothing to do... More

Thank you for your review, Laidback2016. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our campers' experiences with us here at Tower Park. We hope you'll bear with us during this transition period—we have great things planned for the park! Hopefully you'll give us another chance in the future so we can help you turn 16 years into 17... We drove up to Rio Vista to purchase a travel trailer. Well..............everything that could go wrong did, EXCEPT us being able to stay at this KOA!! We limped in with a bent axle and NO knowledge of how to set up a 24ft travel trailer, but the folks around us were great! the staff welcomed us, and got us all... More

There were a lot of camper's this past Father's day at this KOA on the delta. We were in the back part of the KOA. If you had a motor home or self contained camper, there wasn't a problem about the bathroom usage. The community facilities were not in good shape. The women's had 4 comodes & 4 shower stalls.... Located well on the inland run up through California, bit pricey as a pure camp site. Camp site was not too good, ground tough and looks unkempt. Male toilet / showers inadequate in number and also not well maintained.

I wavered between rating this a 2 or 3, but my experience was not a bad one - just not one I would give top ratings. I stayed mid-week, and it was very quiet. I didn't experience any of the noise others complained about. In fact, it was scary quiet. I was a single camper in a tent. I was... More

I didn't really know what to expect, but seeing that it was adjacent to the river--and the rates were high, I thought it would be a pleasant spot for a one-night stay. Wrong! The place was dirty (grounds, bathrooms) and just run-down. Unlike other reviewers, we were not bothered by crowds--the place was nearly empty--so I was happy not to... More

Tower Park KOA Campground – Labor Day Weekend (September 2-7, 2015). We arrived at the campground on Wednesday, September 2. When we checked in, the girl at the desk collected our money, printed our receipt, and instead of saying, “Have a nice time and let us know if you need anything..” She said, “Be sure to read the rules on... I absolutely love the airstreams that you can stay in but they do need to upgrade. Depending on what time of year you go, will determine the rate of your stay. Summer months are overcrowded, alot of drunk kids running around. Catch it when its mellow and you will do just fine

For the price they charge per night, you would think this place woild be nicer and the service at the front desk was horeible. The blond chick that helped us didn't even give us directions on how to get to our spot. She just handed me the map and sent me packing. There are a lot of people that live... More
