I just got here but already I’m annoyed. I can’t even fathom in this day and age a park that offers big rig friendly length sites not telling potential users of satellite tv about a completely canopied section of the park with trees that block the signal. I usually do a satellite view before I book and then ask are your spots satellite friendly. Oh sure I was told for $660 for five nights. How hard is it and how unethical to lie or omit the truth and the have a no refund policy. I’ll try and see if there are any spots open tomorrow but if your a TV watcher…..you’ve been warned.

We had 3 cabins & 1 camp site for 4 nights. Overall, ok place with a variety of activities for kids. When we arrived on a Thursday, it was like a ghost town, quiet, and not a lot of areas open but we expected it. On Friday, things started getting more active with guests arriving. The water area was closed due to what we assume was a kid ‘messing’ his diaper. We went and played miniature golf which really is a cute area. However, there is NO bathroom nearby so if one of your kids has to go….it’s kind of a hassle. The weekends had the place happening and while it was full, the water areas were not that bad and the kids had fun. The kids outdoor playground is nice with structures looking new and in great shape. The in ground trampoline is really a lot of fun! Wish more playgrounds had one. Wide variety of activities for kids. Park was quiet during the hours posted. Nice that kids can ride their bikes and scooters around the park and just be kids! Cabins were fine. We made reservations a long time ago and asked for 3 cabins next to each other and we’re told no problem. However, we were assigned two near each other and there was a cabin between the last one. It wasn’t that big of a deal but then no one ever showed up for the empty cabin! I know it’s hard to know what might have happened to guests and like I said, no big deal. Be sure to verify if you have to be near each other. In one cabin we had some plumbing issues with the bathroom sink, like the faucet handle completing coming off. Maintenance did come promptly over. Before coming we read what each cabin had and called to verify. We specifically asked if there was a tub and we were told yes but our cabins only had shower stalls. Not a big deal. We also asked and were told we definitely had a stove top so we didn’t bring our camping stove. We figured there might be one portable cook top ring as we didn’t see anything in the pictures. But when we got there, nothing. Uh oh, a lot of our meals were going to need at least one burner. Luckily our friends RV had one burner. When in Rome…. I understand getting things running is hard these days but staff answering phones should be knowledgeable about what each accommodation has and what they don’t so you can bring accordingly. We rented a couple of golf carts. Be sure to charge them up each night as a precaution. One of ours died the first day after just a little use and we had to just plug in to a nearby plug and come back later to get it. Bring bug repellent. The bugs were only bad one night. We came prepared luckily! Bring the food tent nets for dining outside! We had fun. Just need to be sure to really know what’s there and what you need to bring!

Went here weekend of September 17, 18 19 with three other family members, full hook-ups for three trailers and one motorhome. We stayed lot 107, 108,109, and 111. When we tried to empty tanks into sewer, 107 and 111 were full, prompting us to remove hoses while they were full. Those with trailers, you can imagine the mess. We had to disconnect and drive around the park to find empty spaces where we could empty the septic tanks. I called the emergency assistance and front desk number, where i was on hold so long the line disconnected. I finally went to the main office to inform them of the problem since the number provided is useless. All we got was a "sorry" and just move to an empty space to empty tanks! We paid for the convenience to have septic where we camped, not to be driving around looking for an empty space! Those with motorhomes, trailers know what I mean! Customer service is zero! They don't pick up the phones, they don't control noise after hours. Someone was even doing illegal firecrackers during the night waking up everyone thinking it was a bomb, that's how loud it was. Those fireworks seemed like M80's. Will never return. You have to share your space with tent campers.

What a wonderful family place to stay! So much to do with lots of activities going on throughout the day for parents to do with their kids or kids to do on their own. I highly recommend this place just make sure you pick a camping spot close to the water park or rent a golf cart for $50 a day because some of the spots are far from the activities.
