I’ve eaten many times at this excellent restaurant. The dishes are both inventive and updated traditional. Everything I’ve ever had has been delicious. Last night it was a divine baked Brie with marinated strawberries and then a pasta - can’t remember the name now. So good. Don’t miss the little cafe for breakfast or lunch. You’re definitely not at Starbucks. Yummy house-made pastries and juices. And fun gift items, too. Our bedroom was very nice. The bed was a bit softer than I’d like but the linens were so comfortable. We opened the doors to the deck at night to be able to turn off the AC and let in cool air. Do you enjoy birds singing you awake? Then you’re in luck because they are happy to oblige.
This is the second time I have stayed here and it's a great hotel. The rooms are big and clean. The beds are so comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Lodi. They also have one of the best restaurants. It's great for a special occasion or a wedding venue. There is a spa that I have not tried yet.
We went to Wine and Rose's for our anniversary dinner. We were treated with royalty. We eat out side on the beautiful patio. It was so quiet and we could enjoy each other's company even though there were other partys on the patio too. The service was out of this world. Our waiter Vincent was excellent first class all the way. Haven't had service like that in many years. If I could give my experience 10 stars I would. Oh and the food was wonderful as will.
My son was just married at Viaggio Winery. We arranged for family & friends to stay at Wine & Roses and I was pleasantly surprised. Nice spacious room, great quality food, and friendly staff. The property offers a wine walk and has a big pool area
Outstanding stay I don’t understand why people are so cruel and mean in the reviews. Honestly this was an exceptional stay. The rooms are well appointed the fronts day off is so helpful and Accommodating. Very Long travel day from Washington DC and a traffic induced drive from San Francisco made for a long day. It was like a breath of fresh air pulling into this beautiful space. The meal at the restaurant was one of the best I’ve had in ages as well. Wish we were staying here more than one day but would love to return in the future. Fantastic room with Aveda products too. And a nice robe-Always a plus !!
You wrote a review for Wine & Roses 5 minutes ago 1.0 star rating5/27/2021 I do a lot of business in the Lodi area and have stayed at W&R multiple times for 4-6 week periods. I typically have always had a great experience and enjoyed my time at the property, but during my most recent visit I was shocked to hear that the Rooms Division Director tripled the nightly rate without any heads-up. I found it to be a very unprofessional tactic considering it was during the most busiest time of the work week and I had to relocate to another property. If you're a hardworking young professional like myself, and are in Lodi frequently for work, I'd suggest to look at other accommodation options in the area as predetermined nightly rates will most likely change drastically without notice or consideration for the end customer.…
Overall furnishings in the room were of mediocre quality. Ceiling had cobwebs, bathtub not very accessible, and plumbing overall, in my opinion, needs to be updated. The service at the restaurant was very poor, had to wait over half hour for food, and the presentation of food and quality were more in line with a Denny's.
Restaurant = 5 stars, guest room = 5 stars, hotel policy = 2 stars We are on a family road trip from Southern California to Washington. We arrived late & didn’t get to enjoy the hotel’s amenity as much as we like, but we had a lovely dinner upon our arrival in the evening. After a wonderful night of rest in the gorgeous room, we were looking forward to brunch before another day of driving in the heat, we were told we couldn’t bring our dog into the outdoor patio of the restaurant because she wasn’t a service dog. We were surprised because the evening before our dog was with us in the restaurant. We said so but the hostess was most adamant & made us feel very unwelcome. So we left on a sour note that basically wiped out all the positive things we felt for the property. Whoever is reading this - ask yourself why you allow pet in the guest room yet make no allowance for them in the restaurant. We cannot leave our dog unattended in the room as per the policy. We cannot leave our dog in the car because of the heat. It is unreasonable & inconsiderate to have such contradictory policy. …
my sister and i spent the night here after a day of wine tasting. the room we had was beautiful. will definitely stay here again! the grounds were lovely! eventhough we were near the highway, you couldn't hear the cars.
I love the grounds. Pathways, trees, flowers, and even outdoor cages with parrots. Lovely patios with table and chairs outside each room. I noticed the cleanliness and fresh smell of our room immediately upon walking in. Nice decor and comfortable bed. Bathroom was impeccable. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant.
