We booked Art's Loft for our stay and it was outstanding in every way - luxurious bedding, large room with private deck & sitting area. Breakfast brought to our door at 9am sharp was delicious. Hiking trails & the beach are a stroll right out the door. Mendocino & Little River just a short drive in either direction. We were also very impressed by the rigorous COVID protocols employed at this Inn. We really appreciated their attention to detail in every way & felt very comfortable staying here during these difficult times.

We stayed in Rachel's cottage over 4th of July and it was an incredible stay! I have traveled extensively for both business and pleasure for many years and this quaint little property placed in the top 10 list of the many resorts I have stayed at! The cabin itself was very well equipped and furnished. The bed with it's feather bedding and pillows was super comfy! (especially the sheets! Sooo soft!) I loved waking up in the morning to the light coming in from the 2 skylights over the bed and also the view of the huge cypress tress that were just outside the cottage and could be seen through the skylights as well. The daily breakfast was delicious! It was delivered in a large wicker basket around 9 every morning and included piping hot coffee, fresh squeezed OJ, fresh baked goods and a different egg dish every day...YUM! I also want to mention the owner John and his staff...they were all great (especially John and Kristen!) and delivered on any request we had. John even worked with me to extend our stay for an extra 2 days which I really appreciated. The next time I visit the Mendocino Coast, I will definitely stay there again! Thanks to John and everyone there!

This is a beautiful and beautifully appointed inn, in an amazing location, with too many thoughtful touches provided to recount. Everything about our stay was lovely...and I am super picky! You won’t be disappointed! (Stayed in Art’s Loft—which was very spacious, has a fantastic bathroom and a nice private outdoor deck overlooking gardens)

This property is a FABULOUS value for all that they offer their guests. Their lovely grounds, the always-friendly staff & the long list of amenities, all wonderful every time. Multiple hiking trail options are located right on property. Their many & friendly chickens supply the eggs for your delicious full breakfast (delivered by staff to your room each morning promptly at 9am), really GOOD coffee, wine & nosh hour EACH evening, ultra clean rooms, all the peace and quiet you’d ever want/need, home-made cookies and tea/coffee available 24/7, sumptuous beds and sheets. They also will arrange a massage at their massage cottage on property or in-room for an additional fee tho, still very reasonably priced. The list goes on and on. This time, I decided to book my stay for THREE nights, because two nights is just really never enough and Im sad when my stay is over here because Im not ready to leave this awesome place. Three nights is the SWEET SPOT for a getaway here. You should also do the same and book your three nights stay. (You’ll thank me later!) Also, make sure to sign up on their email list via online for their special offers and info throughout the year. Note: If traveling solo, they offer a discounted rate off of each night of your stay.
