The rooms are very private and you get a great breakfast delivered to your door every morning. We really enjoyed not having to get up and dressed in time to go to a dining room each morning. We also liked the ease of hiking right from the property. Also very easy to get to Mendocino - just a few miles... More

We stayed here for one night and wished that we stayed longer. We'll definitely be back. Highlights were the magical grounds, the cozy fire, the comfy bed, and complete privacy. The journals of past travelers (stretching back to 1984!) are a treat to read, and the breakfast in the room is a nice romantic change for couples who don't necessarily... More

Besides the beautiful setting and access to multiple trails for hiking/running right from the property, what stood out most for my wife and I was the service, hospitality and efficiency of how the place is run. It seems every detail had been considered in making our stay the best possible, from the personalized sign at our assigned parking spot, to... More

I surprised my husband for his 48th birthday. The Glendeven Inn was recommended to us by locals, so I new it had to be a special place. Starting with the cozy sheet to the adorable hens. I cannot express how peaceful and relaxing our stay was. We truly enjoyed the llama and the morning breakfast. Plus the wine and and... More

Gives new meaning to the phrase "a room with a view" as the property is positioned perfectly with views of the water. Love the farmhouse views also with llamas, chickens and a busy bird feeder. The beds are comfortable...the rooms are well designed with english antiques...morning breakfast in your room at 9am (wishing for 7-8am) as well as tea, coffee... More

We were enchanted by the Glendeven Inn from the moment we drove into the driveway and saw a parking spot marked with a sign welcoming us by name! A charming, totally Zen environment located minutes away from downtown Mendocino, this bed and breakfast provides everything anyone would need to relax, unwind, regroup, and enjoy some time away. Everything about the... More

The Glendeven Inn and it's sister property, the Inn at Cobbler's Walk, are our favorite places to stay near Mendocino. We've been here many times and never had a mediocre, let alone a bad, experience. The rooms are lovely, peaceful, and incredibly comfortable. The location is wonderful, with a beach, great hiking and tide pools all accessible from the property... More

This is an amazing place to stay! The grounds are as unique, stunning, and peaceful as it gets, with the live farm, wonderful views, majestic trees, aromatic flowers, etc. The rooms are equally nice. We stayed in the less expensive East Farmington Suite, but were extremely pleased with how spacious and nice it was. The breakfast was scrumptious, delivered each... More

Thank you for your review and the kind words. Regarding our coffee offering, we've used the same local coffee roaster for nine years but have had some other negative comments. We've listened, and are in process of changing over to Black Oak Coffee roasters in Ukiah. They're another local Mendocino County purveyor. We hope the next time you visit, you... More

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and hospitality provided to us at the Glendeven Inn. We stayed in the Carriage House which was wonderful and well insulated from the noise on Highway 1. The Inn is conveniently located about 2 miles from downtown Mendocino and near many restaurants, hiking trails and beaches. Happy hour wine was always welcomed as... More

From the moment we arrived we were well cared for. Champagne on ice and brownies waiting, what a surprise as these were not requested. Breakfasts were excellent, walks easy and relaxing, service top notch. We would stay there again, definitely.
