This is our third trip to Glendeven Inn, however, we usually stay at the property across the highway - Inn at Cobbler's Walk. We love everything about Glendeven - the rooms, the hospitality, the customer service, and the llamas! Glendeven will always be our home away from home when we need a weekend getaway.

Glendeven inn is by far the best experience I have had with a bed and breakfast. The llamas were great and so were the chickens. The grounds were beautiful. The room was comfortable and perfect. The breakfast in the morning was filling and very tasty. The staff was great and friendly. Such an amazing experience. I highly recommend this place.

Great location and beautiful views. Mike's breakfast was heavenly. This was a wonderful place for a breather. If you want to recharge this is a perfect choice. If you enjoy wine and the north coast of CA, this is your headquarters.

Glendeven was a wonderful location for a getaway weekend for my wife's birthday celebration. The staff (llamas included) were fantastic. The shared dining dinner is not to be missed! Chef Jonathan and his wife ran a perfect event with the best food of the trip.

Table for breakfast too small for two and afterward no room for two laptops. Fireplace very good, nice atmosphere and heat, with artificial logs supplied on demand. Breakfasts uniformly excellent, good variety. All staff friendly and helpful. No adequate supply of ice. WiFi mediocre, slow and connection not reliable. Bed very comfortable. Heating worked well. Bathroom small but adequate. Only... More

Completely laid back, wonderful inn. Our room -- Eastlin -- had a little sitting room, and a covered porch with a magnificent view of both the llamas and the ocean. The breakfast -- delivered through a "secret" moving bookcase -- was delicious, as was the complementary wine and cheese hour. The website's "blog" has great recommendations on hikes, beaches, wineries,... More

The owner John and his staff are nothing more that as amazing. We stayed in Etta's Suite where the view of llamas, the grounds and ocean were breath taking. Sitting out on the patio ( you have to climb out the secret window) drinking wine, sipping morning coffee by the fire, was priceless. The breakfast great. We chose to eat... More

My husband and I were married last year at nearby Spring Ranch, and many of our guests stayed at the Glendeven. They universally had rave reviews, so we decided to celebrate our first anniversary there this year, and we couldn't have been happier that we did so! We had a beautiful corner room complete with fireplace, sitting area, and outdoor... More

This is an amazing place what with the breakfasts in the room, llamas and chickens, the personal touch from the owners and employees and our room. We absolutely can't wake to come back. Don't think we have ever stayed at a B & B as wonderful as this one.

We only stayed here one night but wish we stayed here longer. The attention to detail and personal touch is amazing!! It was raining during our visit but we still had a great time and loved lounging by the fireplace. Don't let the rain stop you from visiting Mendocino and this b&b! Eating breakfast on our balcony the next day... More
