This lovely RV park in the foothills near Sequoia national Park is one of the best we’ve ever stayed at…. and we travel a lot! This staff all make you feel like you’re one of the family. It’s incredibly clean and well-maintained. Lovely and large dog park. We will definitely come back here again when we are in the area.
This is a lovely campground. It was the first of three we stayed at during our recent trip to Yosemite and by far, the nicest. The check-in lady was lovely and welcoming. We found the website to be a true indicator of Lemon Cove Village RV Park. (This was not the case in the other two campgrounds which were disappointing.)
This place was OK. Surely not worth $90 a night, but that's not the biggest problem. We had a broken axle on our trailer. Called to cancel and told them we would reserve again as soon as we could travel. We did less than a week later, assured by multiple people that the canceled reservation would be refunded. Didn't happen. Called when we got home and we were assured they would talk to Dirk, the owner, and it would be taken care of and they would call us back. No call. After doing this several times and never getting a callback, we got an email with the fine print of their cancellation policy. Yes, you have it printed there--so, in that, you are correct. But to be told again and again that we would be refunded and not doing it is a slimy business practice. It is no wonder that every time we called back we were told, "That person doesn't work here anymore." Sad that you sullied the name of Good Sam parks. …
Quiet RV park, Clean restrooms always! Great swimming pool to use on a hot day. Easy access to Sequoia by shuttle if you don’t want to drive to the park. And a very helpful and friendly camp host. Highly recommend this place.
We stayed 3 nights. The stay was very enjoyable also because of the pool and the recreation room. We profited of the shuttle bus to visit the SNP (bus stops at the RV park). Very clean facilities and restrooms. Extremely friendly staff. All in all a very positive experience!
We loved our 2 night stay there. The spots are spacious and love the pull through spots. The bathroom/ showers and laundry were clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The kids loved the pool too, it was really hot out.
CLEAN BATHROOMS, AND SHOWERS! POOL! Dog Park! EVERYTHING was ALWAYS CLEAN!!!! I visit Lemon cove at least twice a year! this year was better than any other year!.. Although their increase in the stay went up, it is really worth it! They have become very strict in their policies but that made this stay that much more enjoyable. I will continue to stay at Lemon Cove RV, I really recommend staying here. If i had to give a bad review on something it would be, The sites have little to no grass, however, given our drought it's something really hard to be able to keep up with anywhere in California.
We chose this location as the pictures showed that each space has a little grass, with a picnic table, and there is a grassy area so our kids could play. We arrived to a completely dead RV park. The only grass was at the office. They tried to say it was because it's summertime, but the office had green grass, just not the spaces. They charged an extra $10 per day for RVs over 37', then had the audacity to tell us to only use 2 AC units if ours were equipped with 3. Firepits were available, but for an extra $10 per day charge (which was just an old washing machine drum), and firewood was also available for $9 for a very small bundle. Women's bath house was fairly clean, but my husband said the men's side was dirty and didn't want to use them. Then he got yelled at for propping the door open to air it out when our son was using it as there was no fan. Laundry was $3 to wash and $2 to dry and no AC in the laundry facility, so it was HOT. No change machine in the laundry, so if you needed change, you had to get it when the office was open. Game room had no AC and was also very hot, so we never went in. Game room closed at 9pm. The only saving grace was the pool, which was very nice, the maintenance man kept it very clean, the only problem was that it closed at 8pm. It was still almost 100 degrees at 9pm and still light out, so that was stupid. If we left early, there were no refunds. They didn't check for our Good Sam Membership when we checked in, and we were told after the fact that they couldn't give us the discount after we had already checked in. Overall, would choose a different RV park next time. Only reason we stayed was because they wouldn't give a refund if we left early. We were told upon check in that one vehicle was allowed per space, but one morning, we got up and there was an RV, a vehicle, and a truck with a tent on it in one space. The space next to us one day had a travel trailer, 2 tents, and 2 vehicles. Guess the rules only apply to certain people.…
Nice spot just outside Lemon Cove, CA and about 30 minutes from Sequoia entrance. Very hospitable staff and hosts and I'd return again for sure. Dogs are welcome and they have a nice dog park area. Laundry on premises and a great rec room with lots of games if you are into that sort of entertainment or have kids. Very enjoyable!
Beautiful area, sites are easy to get in and out, facilities are very clean and spacious. The only improvement is you have to pay $15 to use the dump station. We were willing to take a site with no sewer and empty our own. When told about dumpstation decided to move rv when full hook up site became available since it was cheaper than paying for each dump. This was our 1st encounter with this as we travel across the country. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return when in area again.
