If you're looking for a super clean, immaculate, well-maintained, charming, and a family-owned and -operated lodging in the Leggett area, look no further! Stonegate Villas was a wonderful and a fortuitous choice. The owners, Ms. Tina and Mr. Mike, are both super welcoming, sweet, and friendly, and really ensures that you have a pleasant stay with them! While it's definitely... More

Our first leg of our trip heading to Seattle from SoCal, we stopped in Legget, CA at Stonegate Villas so we can drive into the Redwoods in the morning. We were greeted by Mike who was more than happy to guide us to our room. We were pleasantly surprised how clean and charming this place is. Our kids love being... More

This is a classic small roadside motel; only eight rooms if I remember right. The owner (very nice guy) greeted us and personally to our room. It was clean, with simple appointments. However, it was the smallest room I think I’ve ever seen in a motel. The queen bed fit along with a small table and chair, but not much... More

Doesn't promise what it can't deliver, but don't expect too much. Rooms are fine and clean, but not a lot in the way of facilities beyond a bed and a bathroom. Management are friendly as well. Wifi is slow but parking is free.

Room was small but clean and very quaint. The bed was super comfortable and the room warm and cozy on a cold night. The only drawback was the fact you had to go so far for a meal (and that was only burgers). Lovely quiet surrounding. Loose gravel driveway but easy enough to get motorbikes in and out on return... Funky old motorcourt, gravel driveway and all. Smallish room, but clean. Internet didn’t seem to work but it may have related to my old computer. Very friendly owner who was very helpful. No coffeemaker, no TV, no blow drier, no microwave, no refrigerator but an electric teapot with coffee bags. They didn’t work well. Clean and somehow it was more... More

This place is quiet and beautiful. The room isn't anything special, basic but clean. The service was excellent, very friendly and good information about the sights nearby. (Avenue of the Giants is an absolute MUST!!!!!!!!!!!) It's a great value for your money too. The Wifi isn't very good, but it's there if you absolutely need it. They deliver what they... More

Folks, if you are considering a trip to see the magnificent redwoods, this is the place to stay. It is a perfect getaway spot to unplug. We stayed in room #5 with the kitchen space for slightly more $ and it was amazing! It really does feel like home. Mike does a great job of taking care of your needs.... More

Staying here makes you feel like you are staying someone's guest bedroom. Room reservations are made over the phone with the owner Mike. Mike greeted us upon our arrival on a dark rainy night. The room is simple but rather comfortable. We woke up to the sounds of birds chirping. The air outside the lodging smells like pine trees. The... More

A truly refreshing vacation from the corporate "McHotels," this gem is just down the road from some of the best classic roadside attractions ever. So quiet I heard nothing at all. Best nights sleep I've had in years. This is a sweet, quaint, clean, nicely done 'mom & pop' place just off the 101 with comfy pillows, extra towels, a... More
