I have stayed here numerous times with relatives and family, and solo. Somewhat elevated above hwy 395 (main street thru town), it is quieter than other motels in the town. Recently I was here in winter, and the walkways and parking are kept relatively snow free. Great location for exploring the Mono Lake basin. It's 12 mi to the east...

In each of the past two summers I have spend 3 or 4 days in the Lee Vining area, using it as a base to experience some of the best day hikes in the entire Sierra Nevada range. Having been backpacking in Yosemite many times I decided to try using this location as a base for my daytime adventures, due...

I stayed with my family for a night it is just on the I-395 but no sound comes to the room, so do not worry. There is Deli which opened till 8 pm in evening. Old fashioned motel cabin with some upgrades. Small kitchen area. It was clean and quiet. The cabin heater was noisy. Internet was only available in the hotel lobby. Lake View Lodge is misnamed. There are very few areas on the grounds with views of the lake.

Room was clean, had some troubles with the shower, staff came up repaired very fast. Located in the center of town, close to restaurant, store and gift shops. Close to mono lake (lots of people with cameras due to photo class, make sure you go at sunset or sunrise for best lighting, bodie ghost town very cool. Would stay again!

Mixture of motel rooms and cabins, conveniently located for downtown Lee Vining (which'll take you all of 10 minutes to check out; it's a small town and several places had already closed for the winter), we had a cabin. Let's be clear, the cabins face AWAY from the lake, so it's not like you can sit on the porch looking...

This motel is located conveniently for visiting many nearby attractions like Yosemite, Mono Lake and Bodie. All are a short driving distance away. The "lake view" is a small view of the lake from one area of the parking lot. We couldn't see the lake at all from our second story room. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room...

This is one of the better motels my husband and I have stayed at on our recent road trip. We checked in around dusk without reservations so we were happy to find an available room. Our room had a kitchenette which came in handy. Our room was decorated nicely and clean. Our beds were very comfortable. Our heater seemed to...
