I have stayed here about 3 times a year for the past 5 years. It is always clean and comfortable. The breakfast is cooked fresh by a chef. The location is great, convenient to shops and restaurants. The Antelope Express that shuttles to LAX picks up a block down the road. I always walk to it. I hope they keep the property well maintained because it is a good deal for what you get.

Highlights of our one-night stay in early April 2022 while driving from Mexico to our home in northern California: a clean and comfortable room, a VERY cheerful greeting from DJ at the breakfast bar before 5 am, and a nice, hot breakfast on real plates with real cutlery. I was pleased to see large, refillable toiletry dispensers (soap, shampoo, lotion, etc.) instead of tiny disposable plastic containers. After we checked out, the hotel called to say they found my husband's Kindle in the room, and then sent it to us (we paid for shipping). We picked this hotel because it was less expensive than others of its category, and were pleased with our stay. We would stay there again.

I actually found this hotel on another site but wanted to make sure it was reviewed here.

Great value. In fact one of the few times I can actually say you get way more than you pay.

First the staff is so dang friendly. Everyone seems to be. You know what? This is the Southwest Airlines of the hotel business. Anyone who has flown knows exactly what I mean.

Secondly they rooms are clean. Nice sized, lots of towels, nice presentation of shampoo/conditioner/body gel, etc.

Thirdly they give you free dinner, free breakfast (eggs cooked as you request), and free beer or wine.

Easy to get to right off the freeway I highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling through or staying for a month. Why go to the expensive chains when you have the Oxford?

I booked a night at this hotel because it had very good reviews and we needed some place clean, pet friendly & convenient, to stay while traveling across country. This place is right off of the highway which is extremely convenient and it’s surrounded by places to eat and other stores which is definitely a plus. However, their establishment is extremely run down and needs a complete overhaul. Their rooms are small and everything is extremely outdated and worn. Their cleaning staff needs to be shown how to properly clean a hotel room, especially during a pandemic. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and they only provide two pillows per bed. Thankfully, their staff is on it and I was able to text the front desk (had never seen or heard of this feature before) to ask for more pillows which were brought to our room very promptly. That reason alone (extremely friendly and hard working staff) is why they’re receiving 2 stars, because if it weren’t for the staff, I would rate this place 0 stars.
The bathroom was dingy and not very clean and the bathroom floor tiles were cracked and would obviously move around when stepped on. Both chairs in the room (pleather) were completely ripped apart all along the arms and were just worn out and should have been disposed of. Everything from the TV to the decor to the mini fridge was just very outdated and worn out. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the lighting in the room was awful-so very dim! The AC/heat didn’t work properly so we were either freezing cold or sweating hot which had 2 out of the 4 of us waking up and tossing and turning all night long and we both actually woke up with swollen and sore throats and actually thought we were getting sick but once we left the hotel and had been out of there for hours, we then felt completely fine again; so it definitely had to do with the cooling/heating unit. The elevator was also a real pain to use and we often had to keep re-pressing the button, multiple times, because it would stay lit like the elevator was on its way to our floor and then the light would just shut off and no elevator would ever arrive. This is so inconvenient and definitely makes me think the elevator is far from actually safe to use. Their grounds are also very dirty and definitely not cared for. There was trash EVERYWHERE in the parking lot and even just outside the entrances and rooms.
The hardest take away from a stay at this hotel is what they charge per night, which is not in any way, shape or form equivalent to what you receive (a dirty, uncomfortable, old, run down hotel room). We paid just under $200 for a ONE NIGHT stay (week night, with our dog) which is unnerving especially since I’ve stayed at FAR BETTER hotels for literally half the price. I do not recommend Oxford Suites in Lancaster, CA and will never stay there again.

They hotel wanted a $15.00 charge to leave our luggage in the room before 4:PM.
There was a room available when we arrived, but not allowed to check in until 4.
The room was too small to accommodate the king bed. The tv was at a 90 degree angle to the bed.
The room smelled of stale smoke.
I had stayed there over the years, but the quality, service and friendliness has disappeared.
Just stay away.

I was in town for a last minute business trip and first thought about saving a little money, so I check into a neighboring hotel and quickly discovered as I walked into the room that I was greeted with roaches. I hauled ass out of there and thought maybe I should skimp on saving money. So I search online for quality 4 to 5 star hotels near by and I read several good review about the Oxford Inn. I was able to make a reservation online with ease, greet by a very social friendly receptionist and within minutes I was in the room.
Once in the room, I was super please as a thorough inspection that the room was exceptionally clean and the COVID precautions that the hotel had taken for their quests in the room.
I was also pleasantly surprised that upon checking out that the hotel offered a continental breakfast ( tasty eggs , bacon & potatoes burrito wrapped in foil, fruit cups, fruit, muffins and juice) unlike many off the other hotels continued to advertise breakfast but made excuses due to COVID instead of making concessions. For that I appreciated the quality of service provide and the fact that the hotel thought outside the box to offer a thoughtful breakfast.

Sincerely
Karen Williams

We go to different hotels in Lancaster for every trip we make to Willow Springs. Booked this hotel for the first time and Jhonny at the front desk was exceptional at checking us in efficiently and very welcoming! He explained that we received complimentary tickets for 2 drinks and breakfast for our stay and let us know that this is the only hotel that has special rates for guests racing at Willow Springs. We initially booked the hotel under a regular rate and were given a discount.

The elevator doesn't work but we had no problem using the stairs to the 2nd floor. Our room was clean, no problems. The look of the hotel inside and out may not be lavish 5 star but Jhonny made us feel like we were at such a place. We will come back again because of the special rates and excellent service.

The hotel has a lot of complimentary goodies in general, I forgot a toothbrush and toothpaste for the night and I was able to get a set for free - it was self serving near the front desk.

Excellent stay over all and I plan to come back every time we go to Willow Springs!

The Oxford Inn is a very nice hotel. It’s conveniently located just off the 14 highway but doesn’t suffer from freeway noise. The complimentary bar drinks in the evening and breakfast each morning are added attractions. Discounts are offered to race track participants as well.
Highly recommended!

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience at this facility. It's so easy to make a reservation directly with the hotel by phone, and you always get a friendly and respectful response from the front desk staff. Check in is fast (and so is check out). Our room was clean and comfortable, and when we felt we needed maintenance to check out the bathtub drain, we got almost immediate service.
You will find that regardless of what room you wind up in, there will be some road noise - unavoidable due to the location of the hotel. Also, the A/C units are louder than optimal, but work great to mitigate the desert heat.
The manager's nightly reception is delightful, as is their long-time bartendress, Mayra, who treats every guest like family. Delicious breakfast fare prepared by your chef, and which can even be taken to your room to enjoy in private, if you so desire.
The pool is large, kept clean daily, and great for lap swimming. The first day during our stay, there was a group of guests who disrespected all the rules posted at the pool area (and the rules of courteous conduct when in a public environment), but they checked out on day 2 of our stay and the rest was totally enjoyable.
I find that, for the most part, Oxford Suites is a great place to stay. It has lots of amenities and, most of the time, a very customer oriented staff.
Thank you to Eric (manager), Jhonny, & Kelsey, and all the other attentive and amazing staff at the Lancaster Oxford Suites.

Staff was amazing. Special shout out to Kelsey and Jonathan who went above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable one. Pet charge was a little steep for my 2 - 3 lb Yorkies which literally leave no trace of their ever being there. We are planning on staying here on our return trip.

Yes, I am certain you can pay over the phone with a credit card over the phone. When we stay, it is already paid for by the group we are with. I just drop off the key and say "ta-ta".

Thank you for contacting us - we look forward to your visit! For the safety of your pet and our staff, and the comfort of fellow visitors, we do not allow pets to remain in the room unattended. Our comprehensive pet policy is listed at our website, click "pet friendly" on menu bar, as well as the "best buddy behavior guidelines", which can be downloaded (hover over the word "guidelines"). This is the document you would sign at check in and fully outlines our policies. If you are coming in on a group block, be sure to call in and secure reservation of a pet friendly room. They are limited in number, and those reserving in advance will be given priority. We hope to see you in September and good luck at the tournament!
