If you are looking for something negative here you go hotshot the toilets need updated. Now on to business the rooms are clean and comfortable, beds are better than sleeping on the ground. 178 is a busy road but barely noticeable from the inn. Staff is better than any that would be found in a big city. They are all country folk with hearts of gold. If you are expecting roses and mints on your pillow case don't go here.
Stayed for three nights while I windsurfed nearby. Easy check n. Room was clean, AC was worked great, WiFi and TV were very good. Room is a bit sparse as far as outlets, no kleenix or phone. But bed was comfortable, refrigerator/freezer worked great and made coffee each morning in the room. The restaurant upstairs is wonderful. Tossed salad at your table along with cheese bread. Mushroom ravioli was excellent. Even comes with choice of dessert. Closed Monday and Tuesday. I would stay here again anytime I am in the area.
Just spent one night here as we were passing through, and would do so again. The motel was clean and the person who checked us in was friendly. It's across the road from the lake, but there was hardly any traffic, so the road wasn't an issue. Nice porch to sit out and look at the lake and the mountains (which we would have done if it hadn't been 102 degrees).
The person who checked us in didn't bother to wear a mask, and there was no plexiglass at the desk. Nuts and crackers were on the floor upon arrival. Coffee pot didn't fit in coffee maker and was dirty. Styrofoam cups still? Really? Bathroom mirror dirty and faulty plumbing in shower with water spraying out where it shouldn't. We left a note expressing our concerns. With COVID, this is a disconcerting place to stay. I'm just glad I'm not sick from staying there last week! Beautiful view.
Very clean modern room. Great location, on hill facing lake. Restaurant wasn’t open, so we had to run out for breakfast. Consider the Dam Corner diner, down the road. Checked in around 8:30 and office was already closed - a bit odd.
Clean rooms, big rooms. Very good old school steak house restaurant located upstairs. Comfortable place. Tv mounted really far away from beds, kinda awkward and humorous. These rooms would be really good if they had a kitchenette. Great Lake view.
My room was clean and recently remodeled. Comfortable bed, flat screen tv with lots of channels, good WiFi and ac. Had a small issue with the tv and the manager came and fixed it right away. The room is a bit sparse with few outlets, but the view of the lake is amazing. I have stayed at several other spots close by and this one is the best in the area. An additional plus is the dinner house located upstairs, which is great.
The room was very nice and exceptionally clean. Great air conditioner for the one hundred plus heat. Highly recommend. Beautiful view of the top lake. Isolated and quiet but easy access to town. Enjoyed the visit.
Located on a cove of Lake Isabella, this combination lodge and upscale steakhouse restaurant is a nice change from cookie cutter chain motels. Our room was large with two beds, queen and double, a fridge, coffee maker, hairdryer, TV, good WiFi, with a large round table and 4 chairs. Room and bath were clean and beds were comfortable. Restaurant is on the second floor of the central building. At about $100/ night this was a pretty good deal.
Made a stop here during a road trip - what a lovely place. Small and quiet with a beautiful view of the lake. Simple but clean room, and had a very nice dinner in the restaurant. A terrific find, off the beaten path. Loved it!
