Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff who go out of their way to be helpful. Also, the setting is so tranquil and beautiful and the food delicious although a bit salty. My kids and I loved our stay and will definitely be back! It seems like a secret hidden vacation center now open to the public during COVID. The staff regularly disinfected common areas and kept to mask wearing and social distancing. Incredibly impressed!

If you are thinking about a cute mountain getaway not far from the LA Metro, this is the place. I was tempted not to review the place so I could keep it a secret all to myself, but that simply would be selfish. The UCLA facility is extremely well kept, the staff supremely helpful, the food of excellent quality, and is very quiet at night. It's easy to miss if you're not looking for it, as it's basically next to a residential neighborhood. It is an excellent way to get away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles and enjoy some time by Lake Arrowhead, which is within walking distance of the Lodge (50meters, if that). Could not recommend highly enough, book your trip now and you won't regret it.

We had a wonderful time at Lake Arrowhead. The split-level cabin we stayed in with a private bathroom per room was perfect for sharing with a colleague. The food was very good. We had a lot of fun at the pool and checking out pickleball rackets as well as playing cornhole. Lots of options for outdoorsy activities to bond with colleagues.

Our whole family had a great time at the UCLA Lake Arrowhead Lodge. The staff was very friendly including the staff that picked up the trash. The check in and check out process were painless. Our kids were playing outdoors for hours in the snow, They had the opportunity to sled on the premises. We also enjoyed the firepit and the kids loved making s'mores. The food was delicious and good portions. We also enjoyed our walk by the lake on a sunny day. Everyone wore their masks on the premises and people were mindful to share the firepit to make s'mores, so everyone had the opportunity to do it. I will definitely come back again.

I stayed at the UCLA Lodge for a business trip. The grounds were all well maintained, and the area was beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed waking up early to watch the sunrise over the lake from the Zen Deck area.
The staff are all friendly, and are quick to assist you when asked.
I stayed in a dual unit cabin with an upstairs loft and a downstairs bedroom. The atmosphere was cozy and rounded out my experience.
I had a little bit of an issue with the shower in my room; I stayed in the upstairs loft, and the shower water would either be hot or cold. There was a spot in the middle of the dial where it would switch between the two, but there was no comfortable adjustment for my shower.
They did provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and the design of the bathroom was very modern and elegant. I particularly enjoyed the way the shower tiles looked, and the fittings on the faucets. The mirror was big and well lit which made getting ready in the morning a breeze.
Other than the slight disappointment with the shower, everything else was wonderful, and I would definitely come back again for another business trip.

I'll keep this short and sweet. The grounds are beautiful and the cabins and lodges were super clean. There are plenty of accommodations including a pool, hot tub, tennis courts, hiking trails, the lake, a Zen deck for meditation or yoga, an obstacle course, ziplining....I'm sure there's more. The staff was very friendly and professional and the food was fantastic! They were very accommodating for my friend who is allergic to sugar and customized her dishes. I highly recommend it here.

I don't normally write reviews but I felt after this trip that this location needed to hear about this.
I came up for a group outing and had no idea what we were in for! We got buried in the snow storm and throughout the entire stay, I was taken care of no matter what! I was very worried about getting back and forth from my room and the lodge where our events were taking place with the amount of snow everywhere but after speaking to Charlie at the front desk he sent up Alicia ,who ended up being my savior all week long..Alicia helped me through the snow every day and made sure to shovel all of the snow away from my room and stairs so I could easily get around. After having my hip replacement it's made it hard to get around and the snow further complicated that. Alicia never judged me for not being able to get to the lodge by myself and never got upset for constantly needing help. She gave me her personal number and told me I could call her directly anytime I needed help. She told me she was staying on property and would rather I call her for help instead of chancing falling on my own.. I was absolutely taken back by that, not only did she show love and compassion to a complete stranger but she did so with a smile. I offered her money at the end of the stay and she wouldn't take anything from me or anyone else. She told us all that we are in this together and she was helping because it was the right thing to do, not to get extra money out of it. Not many people would offer this much help and not expect anything in return.
On the day we left , we were all worried about getting our cars out, being that much of our group is older, the amount of snow was hard to handle. While we were struggling ,Alicia was walking by and saw another member of the group who couldn't shovel the snow and without even being asked she came over and introduced herself and told them to take a rest and she would help them. Shortly after John and Charlie came to help others too. They ended up helping most of our group get their cars unburied and Alicia gave us a route to take off the mountain that was the safest way through. She was patient and explained to many of us how to handle driving in the snow and made us all feel confident to make it home. Which we did!!
Through out the rest of the stay all of the staff worked hard to make sure everyone was ok. You didn't seem like much staff was available but the ones that were there worked so hard. We often saw the same staff taking care of us for breakfast and then saw them outside shoveling and back by lunch to help us again. The strength and dedication your staff had through this storm was inspiring.
This was a trip I will never forget and these people will make me come back every year. Thank you so much Alicia, John, Charlie, all the dining staff, the wonderful plow drivers on property and everyone else who helped through this crazy storm!!

Had a wonderful stay here! Staff was incredibly prompt and early. During one dinner though we were waiting for quite a while but things happen and I am sure they were trying their best. I wish they had an option to turn on the heater in your room as it was loud and I was unable to sleep. Other than that everything was great,

Absolute perfect hotel for family with small kids. Open grounds, great location and about 30-45 minutes to great snow play. Great value. FYI there is no kitchen or kitchen set up (besides small refrigerator), cups, plates, utensils for any snacks for kids should be brought. Lastly if you get a room away from the check in, likely its up a hill, many stairs that have to walk. Make sure the young ones don't forget their favorite "stuffy" in the back seat or you will be going for a hike back to the car! overall great holel. GO BRUINS!

This place is so incredible because it has so many things such as sports ⚽️ , food 🥘 , and board games♟️ etc. They have awesome staff and amazing service. One thing I would recommend is that they should have room service or at least rooms closer to food because the Village is 10 minutes away from the hotel. You have a nice and hot fireplace 🔥 and logs🪵 in the front and back of your room!! In your room, there is a front and a back door 🚪!! The jacuzzi is warm and relaxing. ☺️ You can do a cold plunge after the jacuzzi! 🥶 There is a lot of things you can do at Lake Arrowhead because this place is awesome!🤩

We start getting snow up here in late November typically and we have Snow Valley Ski Resort (and tube park) about 20-30 minutes away. We also have some great sledding spots on our 50-acre property though! We hope to see you up here soon!
