Convenient location to the beach, about 20 minutes, and was inexpensive, hence our decision to stay there. However, they rent the pool area out on Sundays to a Christian Ministry. The set up was loud and early in the morning and you could hear the minister spewing anti-gay homophobic rhetoric from inside the hotel room. Also, they accept pets but you can't leave them in the room or take them to the pool.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL IF YOU WANT A COLD ROOM! THE TEMP DID NOT GET BELOW 80 MULTIPLE DAYS IN A ROW, DESPITE BEING SET TO 64. And it CONSTANTLY SMELLS LIKE URINE, VOMIT & BODY ODOR!! The AC units are Verdant ECO friendly units. This means they don’t cool don’t the room unless they motion sense constant movement. This is complete BS that the company is doing this to the guest! CHARGING the GUEST TOP $$$ to stay but then restricting the amount of AC that can be used to SAVE MONEY ON ELECTRICITY FOR THE PROPERTY OWNERS. We’re spending over $100 a night we deserve to run the AC at the temp we want, when we want! This hotel looks nice from the lobby but once you walk down the hall to the rooms it’s a completely different story. Drunk & High people running through the halls all hours of the day. People who aren’t paying to be there sneaking in to use the pool. Throwing huge parties in the rooms with people who aren’t paying to stay there. Another COMPLAINT I have are the SMELLS that lurk all day & night in the halls. it constantly smells like urine, vomit & sweat throughout the halls and elevators. ( not to mention the elevators creek and shake and make scary noises; Also the inspection for elevator is listed 2018. Pretty sure CA state law requires 6-12 month checks annually). I’d give this property a 0 if I could. The only positive is the staff is very respectful and nice, but that doesn’t make up for the fact that they basically give their guest heat stroke to save a buck! SHAME ON THE OWNERS AND MANAGEMENT COMPANY FOR RUNNING THIS HOTEL THIS WAY!

This was an Amazing Hotel, the rooms were very spacious. The room was extremely clean, the housekeeping staff does a fantastic job. I have stayed in a lot of hotels throughout the country. This hotel has best showers in the country. I would reccomend this property anytime you are needing a sleeping room in Orange County. I hope to see you soon!!

We stayed here for a long Valentine's weekend and it was fabulous! The pool was a little cool but the jacuzzi was perfect! The bar and the restaurant were great. They can make a mean martini! Dinner for 2 with 4 drinks was just over 60$. The beach was just 10 minutes away as well. Great location off the I5. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, not so fancy you're uncomfortable but just enough to make you feel good about your visit. The beds are comfy and we slept good. We would stay again. There is a Starbucks on one corner 3 minute walk and you must try Celia's tortillas on the opposite corner. Breakfast for 2 with one drink for just over 13$ we ate there several times. Food and service we amazing!

Took my wife to Ca. for a surgery. Doctors office supplied a list of 5 Hotels in the area. Seemed to be a nice place in presentation. Checked in the evening before surgery.Surgery was to be at 6 am.the following morning. Went to take a shower and the shower backed up with sewer water as did the sink. Maintenance came and was unable to clear drains.it was now 9 pm. Told that they only had one room left that was not comparable to the one reserved. After complaining they found a comparable room and low and behold we could smell mold or wet smell. The shower floor was cracked and allowing water to seep across the floor to the carpet which was getting wet . Asked for some kind of comp and was told the manager would have to handle it and was not in but to call . Called and e-mailed and got we sorry and hope you will give us another chance. Ha Ha! Pay the difference and go to a Marriot or Hilton property where you know what you will get and have a company that holds there management to a basic standard.
