We stayed 3 nights on the 2nd floor facing the gardens. The rooms were good in size and clean. Every morning the hotel serves breakfast - bagels, oatmeal, fruit, cereal, coffee, tea. We enjoyed a evening in the jacuzzi. The Lodge was located right off the freeway which made travel easy. Located right next to a mall and several restaurants and...

I loved this hotel. Staff was friendly and the room was clean. Breakfast was more than adequate with a variety of food that should satisfy anyone's needs. The location worked out very well for us as well since we had business in both LA and San Diego areas.

About 50 miles south along the coast from Los Angeles LAX Airport. Perfect for an overnight stay or longer. Motel is older but has been well cared for and all facilities are well presented and lots of things updated, and room facilities great, also clean and in a safe area. Breakfast simple but good and plenty of choice. Surrounded by...

My wife and I have been traveling down to Laguna to visit with her father every week for over 10 years and have never stayed here. This trip we were on our way down to La Jolla and decided to stop over for the night. So I looked up the Lodge on TripAdvisor and recognized that it had gotten some...

Hallways dirty, wallpaper peeling in rooms, staff unapproachable and make you feel like you are out to cheat them. There's even a sign by the elevator that says there are harmful chemicals present. Stay down the street at Ayres...ask for a discount, and it's pretty much the same price and what a difference!

We are sorry that your stay with us was not satisfactory. Cleanliness is important to us so we clean common areas, including hallways, daily. We also clean guest rooms daily, unless the guest specifies otherwise. FYI, the chemical sign is required for all hotels in California. Thanks for your comment about our wallpaper; if you could specify the room number...

We enjoyed our stay at the Laguna Hills Lodge, especially the beautiful landscaping that was displayed throughout the property. The breeze through the window and the lovely flowers and plants made for a very relaxing and pleasant stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family has stayed with the Laguna Hills Lodge for about 16 years now. Our last trip during Memorial Day was different, something has changed about this hotel. For starters, the reservation was incorrect, that has never happened before. Took some time to square away. You would think as many times as I have stayed here they would know my...

I flew down to California to attend a conference. Numerous delays at the San Francisco airport meant I got to the hotel MUCH later than I thought I'd be. The front office staff were very warm and welcoming and made my check-in as easy as possible. When I was accidentally given the wrong type of hotel key, Charlie came back...

For the price this is an excellent choice. I did have an issue with my first floor room and a child jumping on and off the bed upstairs. The hotel staff did offer to move me so I appreciated that. The room was clean and easy walk to restaurants, etc.

Perfect location, near freeway and walking distance to Laguna Hills Mall. Building has flare of old Laguna with Bouganvillea landscaping. Clean, comfortable and pleasant staff and surroundings. I picked the motel because it was near a destination wedding that we attended. Having a place to drive to from L.A., to rest and get ready for the wedding in Mission Viejo,...
