Pacific Edge Hotel is not only steps away from the sand of the California coast, but also steps away from everything that Laguna Beach has to offer. One of the few hotels with direct beach access in Laguna Beach! Imagine the cool ocean breeze brushing up against your cheek. Admire the views of the deep, blue, Pacific Ocean from the balconies overlooking the waves of one of our oceanfront rooms. Enjoy convenient sunning, surfing and swimming as the sand is just steps from your room. Two renounced beach front restaurants are on premises - The Deck and Driftwood Kitchen. The hotel is within walking distance of both Laguna Village and the shops and galleries along the South Coast Highway. In addition to your holiday and vacation needs, we are known for being an ideal destination for groups, social events, and wedding. Our magnificent Villa offers a prime, one-of-kind event space, suitable for the most important and precious events. **Secure Valet Parking on Site $34 per day

We stayed here in December and my boyfriend was struck by a stingray whilst in the sea. The reception team were great finding all the first aid bits we needed, along with a large bowl to soak his foot. Really helpful. The location is great and they have walk ways directly to the beach along with loungers & towels if you need. The rooms are a little dated and could do with a refurbishment but it’s been a pandemic where tourism and hospitality have been hit hard. Survival is just a priority right now. All the staff were super helpful & friendly and it’s a great location in the centre of Laguna. It was our second stay in this hotel and we’ll go back when visiting again.

My room was infested with mould to the point where we couldn’t stay there. In the weeks since leaving, I’ve had multiple random charges on my credit card from them, and I was forced to freeze my account. I haven’t been able to reach anyone from the hotel for help; the number on the website goes to a call centre which directs you to another phone number that doesn’t exist. In email they apologise and promise to call but never respond or follow up after the initial response. Photos look nice but do not accurately reflect what it’s like- this hotel is in very dirty, and based on other reviews I’ve seen, they regularly use your card to make fraudulent charges like the ones I experienced long after checkout.

Thanks for your honest feedback. We are very disappointed that your stay with us was anything less than enjoyable. Our staff works hard to go above and beyond to make our guests feel well accommodated. Your concerns for our housekeeping services, the condition of our rooms, and the issues you had with your billing are not in par with our usual positive customer service. If you could please leave us your name, email address and/or phone number we would like to contact you and discuss your experience in further detail. Again, we apologize for your experience and we hope you'll consider staying with us again after we improve! Jeroen Quint Managing Director

we booked this hotel for a new years eve stay -- the photos online all looked lovely and like it would be a great getaway. the hotel is NOT nice at all- it's basically a motel in the back of an alley. i was charged a 'resort fee" for nothing (this is not a resort and there are no amenities) and $34 for parking. the elevator was rickety and rusted, the paint on the walls was peeling and rusting, the room had no amenities whatsoever and the bathroom was filthy and barely fit one person. my husband and i ended up leaving and finding a different hotel for the night as it felt unclean and unsafe to be there.

This is a motel. Expect that. Here in Laguna, your options are super luxury resorts, and motels/holiday Inn type of places. This has an unbeatable location. You are right off the PCH and literally on the beach. You’re paying for that. Because of that, they don’t really care that this isn’t perfect. Nor should you. The rooms are sparse. The bathrooms clean. That’s it. The place also has a great restaurant that’s an awesome place for drinks and food literally on the beach. That is a reason to stay here….you’ll love it. nothing is cheap in Laguna. The beauty is why. Unless you want a resort that is at a multiple of price, or stay at the Holiday Inn, which is actually pretty decent, just remember you’re at a motel and enjoy the beach.
