Loved this historic hotel. There was a problem at check Inn but the lady at the front desk, I believe her name was Jeanne, went way above and beyond what was expected to make it right. I can not express how happy we were with her customer service, she alone was worth 5 stars!!! We had 2 adjoining rooms for... More

We LOVE the Hotel Laguna and always stay there when we go to Laguna Beach. It is RIGHT smack in the middle of town and on the beach. It's a landmark, so don't expect anything fancy. Jeanne Page gave us a wonderful upgrade when we were there recently and we ended up with an ocean front room! She is awesome.... More

Pros: Great location Beach Club Waterfront bar Laguna Beach itself is beautiful! Cons: The rooms are on the Pacific Coast Highway. It is so loud you can barely watch the old style TV let alone sleep. On top of that there is a bar across the road that parties until the wee hours and the walls are so paper thin... More

We had our son's wedding here. The food was excellent (buffet style), the staff were awesome, and the view is beautiful. The wedding was on the beach and the reception overlooking the ocean in the Cleas room. The wedding staff made sure everything cam off without a hitch. The hotel is an older hotel and does need some upgrading. The... More

Worst hotel we've been too so far! We travel four times a year and checked-in to multiple hotels ranging from $150-$300/night so we are not really picky. First of we love history, that's one of the reasons we chose this hotel, we already knew it is old because we've been to a similar hotel before. Our review is just to... More

This is a hotel that is older but it is a good experience. The room was small and old. I don't believe it had an air conditioner. We booked it on the Hotel Tonight App. We had a street facing room and the hotel provided ear plugs. We realized why once we turned the tv off to go to sleep.... More

I had initially wanted to stay here but wasn't able to, so ate at the restaurant instead. The front desk staff and all of the servers were extremely friendly and the views from the restaurant were amazing! The food was great, too.

Been to the hotel and restaurant many times as a local. I stayed at the hotel once and like many, was a quick "never again" - dirty, temperature issues, old (and not in a cute way). I've been to the indoor restaurant and outdoor patio restaurant for different times of the day / night. The only upside IMO is being... More

Just for the location worth a visit but rooms are needing total redo. Sadly this historic lady is past her prime. But the restaurant is not and should be on your list for great lunch spots! We have stayed here many times due to its perfect location, but not sure we will return any more.

Halls and rooms worn out, sheets on beds were looking haggard.. Plates and glasses dirty at the restaurant. Service was lacking while dinning. No one came to check on us. They were inconvenienced by our being there. No wi-fi in the room.
