My partner and I had booked a stay at this hotel end of July for a quick trip and to see the neowise comet. We were so excited! Upon arrival, we were notified by the general manager at the front desk that our reservation was never confirmed and they did not have availability or have a room for us (even though I received a confirmation email from the 3rd party I booked through). The GM stated he emailed the 3rd party booking company to notify them right away when I booked that there was not a free room, and to cancel our reservation. The 3rd party I booked through did not notify me. I asked the GM for a copy of the emails he sent to the 3rd party stating they could not fulfill the reservation. The GM said he absolutely would email them to me, and after 3-4 follow up emails, I have yet to receive ANY confirmation or proof that they in fact did what they said they did. This leads me to only assume that they never did in fact notify the booking company that they needed to cancel our reservation. I will also say, the night before our reservation, I called the property and spoke to this same GM to alert them that my service dog was coming with me and stated my reservation and he did not inform me that my reservation had been cancelled. Overall, I am just extremely disappointed by this lack of customer and guest support. Coming from a family that is in the hotel business, they were also shocked by this type of occurrence.

First off, this place is super quaint. Tiny little hotel with like 15 rooms. Unassuming. U would never know it was there unless I stumbled upon it on Expedia. Anyways middle of the week court appearance in Indio as I’m a lawyer. Chose to stay night before. For the price I paid it was outstanding. Clean, updated room, comfy bed, soft sheets, and very quite. Now price was 140$ or so and for me and the wife (who tagged along) it was perfect. Cute little boutique hotel on a small lake with fish and small turtles. Rooms are nice and all have a view of lake. Hotel has a nice bar and indoor outdoor restaurant. Very good drinks. For the price we paid was perfect. I’d highly recommend it. 4/5 because bathroom smelled a tiny bit. If I could give it 4.75 I would. Plus it’s right down the street from LGs steakhouse which is very good.

We live near the hotel but had not tried the restaurant until the other day....wow; have we been missing a hidden gem. The entire menu looks great and our food was excellent --we had the salmon and the chicken piccata. The service was top notch and the location is cool; a patio overlooking man made lake la quinta--very pretty. I cant comment on the rooms, but the place looks fantastic and the location is very convenient to lots of desert activities and other restaurants. Bon Appetit!

We stayed here last November. Our room was so dark even with the lights on. The staff was very rude. They did not clean our room one day. This situation was not handled well. We basically had to clean it our selves. They only put one set of towels in the bathroom.. We were always having to ask for more. The food at the restaurant 's was not very good. The pictures of the room are deceiving.

We take pride in our anticipatory service and are disappointed that you had to contact us for towels. Booked a room here for my husband to relax after several days of home renovations. The room is pretty and well maintained, which is why two stars rather than one, but strangely, even though we booked a superior room there was no chair in the room as some other reviews have mentioned. That’s not the bad part though—one of the main reasons we picked the hotel was that the restaurant and bar looked cute and had good reviews. Unfortunately when he went to the bar (having found out when he got down there that there was no dinner being served but supposedly appetizers and drinks were available), he was completely ignored by three different employees at the bar on top of the front desk attendant being surly. After a long wait he finally had to go another restaurant to even get a drink. Definitely do NOT come here for the restaurant, bar or any type of reasonable service. He found out from the Uber driver that this is not at all unusual these days. I’m so mad we wasted our money here for him to be treated this way.

Please accept our sincerest apologies. We take pride in our attentive, personalized service and are greatly disappointed that we fell so far short of your - and our - expectations. We have forwarded your comments to the general manager, who will be interested to learn more about your time with us and happy to discuss your experience.
