WOW 💜 WOW 🐾 WOW!!!

I don’t even know where to begin as this boutique hotel is a wonderful hidden treasure from checking in to the very second we left.

First impression is to drive up and you see a beautiful Château in the middle of LaQuinta, on a lake!
Just gorgeous!

Entering the lobby to check in I was greeted by the kindest man, Paul.
He was so friendly and helpful upon checking in.
As he handed me the keys to “ Bungalow 2” (you’d love this little hideaway) he popped a bottle of champagne, filled glasses and off I went to my room with my pups in tow.
The private little path to B2 was special in itself and the room was just perfect with the balcony over the lake.
The bed cozy, the powder room lovely and clean and the little patio just perfect for my pups to explore.
The location and view of B2 is fabulous!

The grounds are just lovely with a grassy park like setting and a lovely table we ate at right at the waters edge.

The restaurant staff at Mélange is as wonderful as the food!
Micheal, the manager…what a class act and quite the host.
Made me feel like so comfortable and arranged to make the dates that I was so craving but not on the menu at the hour I was lunching…dates arrived to my surprise and were off the charts delicious.
Not only that, I walked away after I ordered to take my dogs along the water only to return to a plate of bacon for my pups.
It’s the little things..🐾💜🐾

The food is unbelievable!
Every appetizer and meal was mouth watering delicious.
DELICIOUS!
The meals were served by two young men, Ethan and Mario.
These two couldn’t have been more polite and helpful.
I had my little dogs and both of these men were so kind making sure they had their water bowls and my champagne 😉
Service was just perfect.
Can’t wait to go back to specially for dinner!

The pool and jacuzzi area is so pretty and quaint.
Cabanas with thick cushions and a jacuzzi that was warm and clean.

This visit was so perfect and the location so beautiful.
So much so we met with a realtor as we really want to move to this lake.

Until then, I’ll be back sooner than later.

If you’re looking for a quaint, quiet and romantic getaway with wonderful staff, you’d be hard pressed to find a nicer hidden gem.

Thank you to all we met and made our stay so memorable.

We lived here many years but now back for a visit and find The Chateau at Lk La Quinta charming. Room 203 is clean, with all amenities and the bed is very comfortable which was a concern having read some previous reviews. We couldn’t be more pleased and will stay here again. The view from our private balcony is sweet and a special treat was sitting out by the patio fires and heaters on a cold night with a nice hot toddy! A great find!

My partner and I had booked a stay at this hotel end of July for a quick trip and to see the neowise comet. We were so excited! Upon arrival, we were notified by the general manager at the front desk that our reservation was never confirmed and they did not have availability or have a room for us (even though I received a confirmation email from the 3rd party I booked through). The GM stated he emailed the 3rd party booking company to notify them right away when I booked that there was not a free room, and to cancel our reservation. The 3rd party I booked through did not notify me. I asked the GM for a copy of the emails he sent to the 3rd party stating they could not fulfill the reservation. The GM said he absolutely would email them to me, and after 3-4 follow up emails, I have yet to receive ANY confirmation or proof that they in fact did what they said they did. This leads me to only assume that they never did in fact notify the booking company that they needed to cancel our reservation.

I will also say, the night before our reservation, I called the property and spoke to this same GM to alert them that my service dog was coming with me and stated my reservation and he did not inform me that my reservation had been cancelled.

Overall, I am just extremely disappointed by this lack of customer and guest support. Coming from a family that is in the hotel business, they were also shocked by this type of occurrence.

Should've believed the reviews. This hotel room was shockingly dirty: surfaces everywhere were sticky and covered in hair. The bureau had some kind of green, chunky substance all over it; couldn't tell if it was from food or a human body. The carpets and drapes had stains all over them. I pulled back the sheets and saw that they were full of holes. As everyone else has mentioned, the beds and pillows are noticeably old and used. If you mention anything to staff and ask for housekeeping, you'll be ignored. When you check in, they give you a letter that blames COVID and says they only do housekeeping periodically (???).

My experience at a hotel in Palm Springs was deeply disappointing due to a booking error and subsequent mismanagement. My intention was to book a Superior room with a soak-tub for a single night of relaxation, but I accidentally selected a Premium room on the hotel’s website. Despite the higher cost, the Premium room lacked the key amenity I sought. When I realized the mistake, I reached out to the hotel’s administration to switch rooms, especially since online listings showed Superior rooms as available. The response was that those rooms were ‘under construction’ and unavailable, a claim contradicted by their continued online presence. My inquiries about this discrepancy were sidestepped, and the administrator’s promise to remove the listings immediately to prevent further confusion was not honored. To my dismay, the listings remained active even after several hours, demonstrating a clear lack of urgency and accountability. Adding to the frustration, a refund following a departure within five minutes of arrival was not initiated tho i didnt ask for it when i left in anger amd frustration. This situation highlights a significant shortfall in customer service and operational transparency, leaving me with unresolved issues and without a refund. Future guests should be wary of potential discrepancies in room availability and the hotel’s commitment to resolving customer concerns.”

My husband and I made reservation in January for a balcony room, 4 nights in May 2023 to celebrate a Birthday. We secured the reservation on my Credit Card $218.90 and received a confirmation number.. On April 3, 2023, I received an email my reservation was canceled due to an error in processing my Credit Card. I called the the Château at Lake La Quinta. Asking why I had been canceled after my reservation was confirmed. I was told that someone had come in and rented all the rooms, and my reservation was canceled and it wasn’t because of my credit card. I was very upset. I feel this is a terrible policy.

My partner was discriminated and harassed upon check-in. We brushed it off to maybe the front desk lady was having a bad day. Once we got in the room we noticed that the fireplace was not working. When I spoke to the lady at the front desk she stated "oh yea.. I forgot to disclose that it wasn't working but you wanted a tub". She offered to give us a smaller room with a working fireplace but not tub. That was very disappointing as we were hoping to enjoy the room during New Years as we couldn't go anywhere with the pandemic.

We were glad the pool was open but the furniture was in bad shape and didn't feel clean so we opted out.

Last day when checking out as we are getting ready to leave and we got the most rude and unprofessional call from the front desk. The lady was aggressive and hostile and asked "if we KNEW when check out was because it was 11:09 and we needed to vacate before 11:30 to not get charged". I let the lady know we were just leaving but she continued to be aggressive. When I checked out I let her know that her attitude was not cool and uncessary. She just got loud. A man was there that appear to be a manager. He never stepped in to assist with the situation. As I walked away, I can hear them talking and he just said" It's ok, I didn't hear you call them".

This place has clearly a culture of aggressive and poorly trained staff. Not worth the $850 for 2 days. Go somewhere else.

We stayed here last November. Our room was so dark even with the lights on. The staff was very rude. They did not clean our room one day. This situation was not handled well. We basically had to clean it our selves. They only put one set of towels in the bathroom.. We were always having to ask for more. The food at the restaurant 's was not very good. The pictures of the room are deceiving.

We scheduled a two night trip lake side to celebrate a special occasion. Booked the room directly from Bianca, telling her what our needs were and that we would be traveling with our dog. She gave us advise, and we made reservations. I received a welcome email the morning of our trip telling us how they were looking forward to our visit, with a confirmation number. After days of planning, shopping, making arrangements for house care etc… we packed our car, our dog and hit the road. So excited to sit by a lake for a couple nights and celebrate. Traveling from San Diego we get a phone call, someone named Paul. I excitedly tell him we are on our way. At that point he informs me that they have no room for us…..I was in total disbelief. He is explaining to me that they will put us at executive suites for the night. We weren’t going to La Quinta for an occasion, we were going to experience their destination and relax by a lake….. he said he could comp us per Pam, a room but not for another month when they were less busy….we took the next exit and headed back home. Never, ever have I experienced this. My assumption is that there was a musical festival and someone took cash to give away our room. To add insult to injury, no one returned emails, no care or concern that they treated us this way and had no intention of making up for it……..f
