The only good thing about this place is its location near UCSD. The service is poor. They advertise free wifi but it does not work. If you want one that works, you need to pay extra. They also advertise free breakfast but they tell you right there when you check in that if you come after 8AM you will be...

Residence Inn Marriott La Jolla 288 suites 2 meeting rooms The Residence Inn on Gilman drive in La Jolla California is a delight to visit. Check in time is traditionally 4pm and check out is 12pm; however early check-in is possible as long as you contact the front desk prior to arrival. On April 20 I checked into the Residence...

This location is very convenient to La Jolla, Torrey Pines and probably half way between Lego Land and Sea World. Very family friendly and pleasant staff. The morning breakfast was plentiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Not a five star hotel but definitely adequate and well maintained.

This hotel is located in a relatively quiet part of La Jolla, and especially at night you do not hear much car noise (except occasional cars that go way over speed limit). It is a good hotel and would have given it 4-stars, but when I pay over $200 per night for a room, I expect something very special when...

I was in San Diego for work and needed to stay a full 7 days. I found the Residence Inn a great place to call home after a busy day at the office. My room, 1321, near the main reception building, was perfect I liked having a full kitchen (even though I used the fridge and microwave mainly). The downsize...

I had a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn while my daughter and I were at Triton Day 2017. It's about 0.5 miles walk from the edge of campus and another 0.5 mile walk to the Price Hall where most of the Triton Day activities were held. I could have driven and parked for free in one of their many...

Have stayed at this property before in the last couple of Months. This time there were roaches . I complained to the Front Desk. The staff was very responsive and had the room sprayed but it did not eliminate the roaches. I did not sleep well or enjoy a meal in my room because of the roaches. I was surprised...

I've been a member of Marriott since 2004, and we've stayed at many Residence Inns over the years. We planned to stay here for 6 days for family vacation. It started off badly because we were met at front desk with some very unprofessional attitude who wasn't very helpful with dealing with an issue that was because of their system....
