Thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish. The staff at the front desk were friendly, professional, and helpful. So were valet drivers. Continental breakfast was a plus. The restaurant on the first floor was also very good. We found a lot of restaurants and shops within walking distance of the hotel.

Good location within walking distance of everything in village -- restaurants and shopping. Dog friendly with $35 daily fee for dog. Staff pleasant and helpful. Parking on the street with restrictions or valet parking at $28 per day. Resort fee of $35 per day -- without resort features.

Such a lovely hotel in the heart of beautiful La Jolla! Check in was a breeze. We got there early and they held our luggage for us while we walked just a few short minutes to La Jolla cove. Front desk staff were so accommodating and polite. Room was very clean and had awesome showers with great water pressure and a nice bathrobe. King bed felt like a pillow sleeping on- so comfortable. Even had free breakfast in a cute 2nd floor courtyard area of the hotel. Overall highly recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The sheets were not clean. We didn't notice until the morning when we got up and there were coffee stains on the sheets. I advised the housekeeping and they agreed and took a photo. The sink in the bathroom was not draining. Let Larry know we received a discount, but we totally just gross!

Nice hotel in a great location. Walking distance to many good restaurants and the beach and La Jolla cove. Comfortable beds, which is my main concern wherever I go. I would definitely stay here again.

This is an excellent hotel. The location is great, local restaurants are all with walking distance. All the staff are such nice people and very helpful. The room was super clean and the beds are super comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Room was clean. Free overnight parking outside but if you want valet it’s $15 which is really good considering the area. The beds were very comfortable. Bonus points for serving free breakfast. I would stay again!

The room and bath were impeccably clean. My main complaint was the strong cleaning solution odor upon entering the room. It was like they were trying to cover up the smell of nicotine or something else. I had to open all the windows to air out. Beds were very comfortable. Valet service for my car was courteous and prompt. In my opinion, the common areas such as lobby and hallways could use updating. The included breakfast was OK - I wish there were more healthy offerings like fresh fruit (bananas, berries, melon, etc.) and whole wheat bread. Would I stay here again? I didn't appreciate the fact that this was a pet friendly hotel. If I had read the fine print, I would not have stayed.

Excellent Hotel but I'm not a fan of the Bathroom door. It's basically a large shutter that doesn't really provide privacy. Shouldn't be a problem if you're staying with someone you're very comfortable with otherwise you can slightly see in and definitely hear everything. The Manhattan Restaurant downstairs is ridiculously overpriced for what you get but the ambience and servers are a delight.
