I cannot say enough as to how polite and accomondating these two indviduals were. They deserve an excellent review. Anything needed was taken care of, especially by Ricky.. The politeness was outstanding. Due to my business trip, I had the fortunate experience of meeting these indviduals.

Hotel's Favorite
I have had to stay here a few times during the pandemic, and I must say, it is one of the only hotels I feel completely safe at! They are implementing much higher cleaning standards, my room was spotless upon check in, with the remote sealed in plastic, and the clean stay sticker on the door. Mason checked me in and really went above and beyond to make sure I was settled and made sure I got my favorite room. I extended my stay, and Theresa and Kaori both helped me a lot this current trip. The front desk staff here is one of the best I've ever experienced while traveling. They are all extremely friendly and knowledgable. I really feel like this is my home away from home. Definitely stay here if you want a clean, safe place, with beautiful views, nearby hiking, and friendly staff to welcome you and make your stay extra special!

You can walk to the golf course, and if you get tired when you get to hole 9, walk back. Other than that, nothing is unique about this hotel. It will suffice as a hotel and place to spend the night. The location makes it beautiful, and convenient yet the service, is the one of your average hotel.

Hello S k, We would like to start by thanking you for taking the time to leave a review! We are sad to hear you didn't have an exceptional time at our property. With so many restriction due to covid we have had to scale down the amenities usually offered. We hope you will give us another try in the future! We have a wonderful concierge who can point you towards beautiful downtown La Jolla or the wonderful Torrey Pines State park to the left of us for some breath taking hikes. We hope to host you again in the future. Sincerely, Tim Booth, General Manager

I had the single worst check-in experience of my life at this deteriorating understaffed hotel. The woman who checked me in refused to acknowledge my presence for the first 10 seconds I was standing in front of her (a long time for humans). She then started tirading about her coworkers being lazy and running away to hide while she does all the work. She rolled her eyes the entire time, ignored my questions, and made rude faces every time I asked a question. Mind you, I am a Hilton Honors Gold member and was checking into one of their best rooms. From looking like she rolled out of the dumpster to giving me a dumpster fire experience checking in, I wrote off this hotel. It is chronically understaffed so it is unlikely you will ever bump into a friendly, helpful employee. The grounds are empty and dead. Don't pay good money to be treated like garbage by human garbage.

No one there to greet guests when you arrived. Very unfriendly hotel staff. Wasn't welcomed -- just give me your credit card on arrival and give me your room key upon checkout. No acknowledgement of being Hilton Gold. I had to mention it. Didn't know about $33 parking fee until I arrived. Very expensive. Ice machine didn't work on my floor, and there was a dead mouse under the ice machine. I called and someone brought me ice. The guy who brought me the ice was the only nice person at the hotel. Wanted to get a glass of wine to sit by the pool, but was told I couldn't order one until 5pm. Then when I did, I was forced to buy food, even though I had already ordered dinner from Uber Eats, because the hotels’ restaurants were not open – only room service with very limited menu. Overall a very beautiful setting and nice room with view, but not a pleasant stay. I would not stay here again. However, they were very COVID safe. I got the impression that staff didn't want to be working there, and that they didn't like guests.
